@@petrevandermerwe60 yes i did install roof lamp in w4 (base variant). I don’t have an English translation but I can help you with the queries you have.
@@kotagi27 OK, thanks for the answer! So did you buy only the cable and roof lamp extra? Also, how did you cut out where the roof lamp was placed, and how did you screw it into place?
@@petrevandermerwe60 just buy roof lamp as spare part. Trace the roof lamp’s inner part on a cardboard and cut it to make a template. Using this template mark it on the center. And cut the roof liner alongside the markings using a sharp blade. Coming to the wiring, you may get it as spare part or make a work around if you know little bit of electronics and wiring.

Bro can you please suggest wiring harness for XUV300 boot lamp ? I have watched your previous video about boot lamp installation where you just plugged in the lamp but in my car wiring is missing. So please help
If you dont have wiring in your boot then it is really a tough and time consuming job. Instead get a universal boot lamp from amazon an place in your car.
@@kotagi27 Yes i think so, there is not even trigger switch for manual installation, Mahindra totally removed the boot lamp even in the top model which is really disappointing

I think then only a 12 v line and a grd is required, in this case how i can get connector for creta's sunglass holder
Do you have some wiring schematic or just checked supplies on connectors and then you made your own
Yes correct. For simple on off button operation we just need 12v and ground.
Creta’s roof lamp coupler can be easily acquired from any electronics shop or any automotive shop.
Just in schematic join red and black wire for simple on off.

Yes, creta’s console is little bit small in length, width is almost same.
We have to compromise somewhere or else pay 10k and get original one. 😅

After door close my light get too much time for getting off....!
Yes, it turns off with delay of 8 secs when key isnt inserted. But when ignition is on it turns off instantly. I’ll show in next video
