Not only that, I have checked my xuv300 and found the glove box light, boot light adaptor is there. Also the front camera port available without cable. The reality is Mahindra only deduct the parts not the holder or any internal electric connection. Because that would cost them more to redesign it again instead of cost savings. Also 50% of the features deduction is not to save cost, rather to differentiate the varients. The best example is globebox and boot light. The 2 light adaptor with bulb only cost 100 to 150 rupees to Mahindra if given. They only deducted so you buy a higher version. Ninja technique of Indian car industry.

Bhai ye toh kuch bhi nehin.. I recently thought to upgrade my XUV300 w8 petrol music system. Before replacing, I thought to open myself and check why it's bad. You can't believe that W8 has exactly same Audio system as optional, it has GPS antina which connected as well, a GPS module, everything same except the map storage board. Also there is holder and harness connector for globbox light and bootlamp. They just did not fit bulb and in music system software they disabled the navigation. I am shocked! Technically they didn't made any cost cutting as that would cost them more to manufacture more parts. They just intentionally disabled few things to separate between higher and lower version. Pretty ugly marketing strategy..

Why not leds for projector? From my knowledge, leds are more suitable for projectors rather than simple reflector type housing..
