- This is a remix of "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic" by The Police. I had intented only to raise the oddly buried vocals, hours later I had this six minute and seventeen seconds alternate version.

This really brings home just what a great composer Sting was and the synergic brilliance of the whole band.
Some 4 years later but Yes, Yes, Yes, my friend! Although "King of Pain" has always been my favourite song by The Police (& New Order has always been my #1 band), of many of their songs that I cherish, the beginning of the original version of this song is the sexiest, most beautiful song intro' that I've ever encountered & in my humble opinion, this remix has possibly even enhanced that...but as you say, both versions of this classic really to serve to truly highlight Sting's amazing prowess re: musical composition...& to think, we could have 'lost' him to labouring, bus conducting, teaching or any other number of occupations!!
@@lavielemond Not only a great songwriter , Stingo knows how to spin a good yarn too.
I don't think he was ever in danger of letting himself be lost to mundane day jobs.........
Always loved the 'Ghost in the Machine' cover. The way the digital numbers make the three member's faces.
Hold it upside down.............
@thewomble1509what's the image then?
Holy crap! One of the things that bugged me about this album is how buried Andy's guitar was in the mx. This pulls some of that out. Thanks
Stripped to the core, brilliant composition
Just come across this remix and just have to say it is brilliant.
With its lydian baseline and odd time signature, this is one of the most complex pop songs ever recorded.
What would you say is the time signature? Sounds like 4/4 to me.
This is just so mesmerizing on so many levels. So many buried “pieces of musical treasure” here. This is one reason why they could never outdo Sting’s original demo for the song.
Fabulous. I really love this mix. Thankyou so much.
Love this! Grew up with The Police as a staple in my collection. Very cool!
This is an awesome mix and still maintains the flavor of the original. Would love to hear more of your Police remixes...
indescribable memory thanks to post this master piece .
Simply outstanding...
This is an absolutely phenomenal mix, the ending part when all of the instruments mash together with the buried vocals creates a better atmosphere than the original in my opinion.
A masterpiece.
Omg this makes me smile. Amazing
hahahaa! Love it! This really put a smile on my face. Thank you.
Keyboard bass was so great in the original track ...but this is amazing to,homesick back to the 80's
Une tuerie cette version !!
Fantastic Remix ! Great Sound...
Insanely good
Damn. This is sooooo good.
I LOVE IT.
SWEET!
I found the separate stems as well and was blown away by how many layers and oddities were present on that piano/alt/FX track. Sting was on another level with arrangements back then.
The Keyboards 😍♥️
Hi folks. Very sorry but I no longer have the mogg files, they were lost in a hard drive failure.
I like this as much as the original, which is a lot!

you made a true work of art...
Actually the Police mad a work of art... I just don't get the appeal of scrambling or omiting the original parts. But it's a big world out there.

Muito bom!!!
Nice versión
Bravo ! C'est formidable. Bien meilleur que l'original
I very much appreciate all you've done here. Buried vocals is one of my pet peeves. One wonders why record a song if you can't make out what they're saying? There was a 12" of the 1980 version of Don't Stand released on the A&M label in Canada, extended, and like a fool I did not buy it at the time, though I heard some of it at the record store and thought the intro way too long, and besides, I prefered real Disco at the time. I tried to embrace the "new sound" of 1980, but was stuck in my disco ways. I've grown to like the song over the years, but not the '86 version. Wanna tackle it? Remixes are a passion of mine, and if you are of a certain age, my channel might appeal to you.
Damn nice!!!! Where did you get the individual tracks to remix?
Eeeeyooo!
Bravo ! C'est formidable. Bien meilleur que l'original
Sorry you lost the mogg files must of been something !
513 - bellissima canzone - ciao da VALERIO !!!!!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love the yidi ado bridge ....I want to use it for a drum and bass mix.....
Were the snares overdubbed, or did you just decide to remove some of them in certain sections of your mix? hmmm
Also, was there a clap trap snare laid atop the original snare in the official/final mix?
genius ...
Go on , it is great what are you doing

How did you do this??? Can I have the .mogg file PLEASE!? Huge fan of Police here and getting goosebumps just thinking about being able to hear the individual original tracks.
There are quite a few Police recordings available as mogg files as they licensed a number of songs to Rock Band or one of those games. You can usually find them on torrent sites. And thank you :)
***** I've been searching for this .mogg for months, all the torrent i've found aren't seeded and I can only download half of them. Do you think you could send me just this one? I would be forever grateful.
how did you get all separate sounds
Studio
Great mix. Way better than the original.
legal valeu

most likely
no
No need for any BS the sound is just pleasing to the ear FFS.
Where did you get the multi tracks?
2:30
starting at 4:19 is pristine.....there is a new pop song off that rips off the police bridge....i may sample that area and give you credit
Aaron Abdullah 12 bar sample.....it will be legendary
Aaron Abdullah 24 bars
Aaron Abdullah especially with the trail of voice leading into it
Aaron Abdullah I am going to do a yeeado redub D&B style with some chordage
I'm not a fan of the first two minutes at all...the Mona Lisa didn't need a more brown accents. However the original buried Stings voice so indeed his voice needed brought up. I don't like the guitar accents either. The piano is now buried and that gives it its sprightly tone. It's a remix and 12 " inch mix so there are alterations.
Build up it's all Copeland
Sorry you lost the mogg files must of been something !
My first time listening back in Dec. 2010
Prog Police > Pop Police
opening bass here a lot like Pinback 'Proceed to Memory' czcams.com/video/oc5_SLo_gG0/video.html
Better tan original
It's like you stole the masters and made your own mix.
This version is bad :(
