The whole process is almost sacred...lifting the dust cover from the deck, turning on the deck, turning on the mixer, the amp, setting the EQ's...laying the slice of wax on the turntable, pressing the start button, flicking the fader across (or up) and then dropping the needle on. Love it.
A friend of mine got killed in a friendly fire incident in Afghanistan in 2007 (RIP Thrumble) This was OUR song. Whenever we used to hear this at raves and stuff we would proper have it. Proper banger. Some of the best years of my life!
