Such a difficult thing to do well. Sing in a close-in hard-surface environment and hear your accompaniment inside your head. Did you notice how she immediately modulated her voice to accommodate the acoustics, and how she composed herself to sing on the spur of the moment? The song she chose was already going on inside her. She just joined in. A lovely creature.

I'm grateful for your sharing of devotional song. Been replaying your lovely singing, singing along... again and again. Lovely, powerful, uplifting.
Your singing brought Russell peace and you joy. The question of the battle of ego and detachment from self motivation and why you do the things you do in this instance seems simple in this case. As we are all on journeys in different places both of your abilities to reach people wether it be through humour, music, talking about spirituality you are already the beautiful beings you were created to be. The term Enlightenment will one day be replaced with authenticity, to be our authentic selfs is in itself enlightenment. One of the longest lessons it takes to learn on our spiritual path is that every being is already enlightened. As we all serve our purpose whatever, wherever and however that may be. Namaste

This is the first thing I saw as I sat down after 2hrs of headphones singing and cleaning with my mp3 dedicated to "Jesus Music".... it really is what gets me "out of the way of my own Life"...puts me on a Spiritual realm...where I give it all up to God innately...Beautiful!...

Don't just say it, sing about it. Get out of bed each day and sing the first song that comes into your mind. Follow up with another song, could be a repeat or a different song. This morning habit, will become a habit within days. Your brain will start enjoying listening to you and becomes eager to hear more. Next thing to happen, you'll begin singing in the evening. Your whole body will love all this, as it unlocks dopamine, that's a wonderful feeling.

Thank you Russel! I very much appreciate this podcast! Singing is how I feed my soul and is a major part of self expression. The connection that I have with music brings me to a higher vibration, especially when harmonizing with people that I love. I wish that I was able to leave a voice comment, so that I can share my gift with you. Writing poetry used to be a big part of my life when I was in school and into my early 20’s. This podcast and the one on creatives are inspiring me to delve back into writing. I am able to read music, but I haven’t ever written the musical part of a song. Spirituality has opened a different perspective on the message or story that artists are delivering. Some of my favorite songs to sing are. Somewhere Over The Rainbow, the first verse of You Are My Sunshine, A Million Dreams- by Pink, No One Needs To Know- by Shania Twain, Killing Me Softly-by The Fugees, Ordinary People-by John Legend, Lost Boy- by Ruth B, Butterflies- by Floetry, and Love Me Like A Man- by Bonnie Raitt.

You, Russel, and your guest, are doing something of service. Your intentions are of service. However, there are consequences for your service. They happen to be quite exposing. Your worlds are very big! That’s all it is...you have VERY LARGE networks.

Russell speaking of fulfillment and validation , i saw what is reputed to your Vedic birth moon chart and if tis so, you know deep down you're destined to really be a ferryman in people's lives, as you have been all your life and in your dreams I'm certain. The best podcast you can do is invite Dr Arjun Pai to your side ( digitally), post your chart and explain what's going on. It would take an hour and be the most interesting topic as all would see the real love that you hide so well. You need to grow above pointing to vague self help and really teach as perhaps combining Comedy and Astrology on a world tour could actually make a real revolution spark...
