You're the one suffering from that. Because if you did your research, you'd know most of the Bible is black ESP the old testament.

I've always wondered why the more religious a country is, the poorer it is. Scandinavian Countries are the least religious people but very rich, Africa and South America very religious but very poor

I'm not an atheist but I say that religious freedom is enshrined in the constitution. If someone wants to be an atheist, it's their right and they should not face any persecution. At the same time, the Kenyan Atheists should not force their ideology down people's throats.Don't try to get religious studies banned as that will tarnish you're reputation.

You can bet your bottom dollar no pastor would ever preach this verse from the pulpit to his congregation because he knows that, God’s word or not, the parents in his congregation who have “female children” would tar and feather him before running him out of town on a rail if he got within 20 books of this verse.

Human culture and civilization can never survive without religion. The constitution itself mimics the holy book. Politics and leadership could have never been possible without a social structure, All that couldnt be possible if there was no religion. Coastal Kenyans embraced Islam after Arabs conquered and enslaved them and told them they were savages in worshipping their ancestors. Central and Western Kenyans embraced Christianity after Europeans conquered and enslaved them and told them they were savages in worshipping their ancestors. So basically you acquired the religion of where you were born from. I'd rather continue worshipping my African ancestors rather than worship a being that has been forced upon me by my master.

What is not in contention is that Harison Mumia has really united the religious groups which often attack each others doctrines. Each of these groups consider those that do not believe in their own doctrine as lost and not believing in the authentic deity. Different christian sects cannot even agree on the true day of worship. Religion should be a personal thing. Do it at home. It shouldn't be endorsed by the government, especially in a multi-cultural or a multi-religious society because people are gonna disagree. The majority shouldn't be the dictator. The minorities should be protected.

I grew up as a staunch and religious young man, but as of now I am so disgusted by religious practices, I wish sometimes my neo-cortex brain never developed so fast. Between when you in a certain level of enlightenment you tolerate everyone, gays, lesbians, Christians, Muslims, atheists because you know each person is evolving differently and God is universal. God is not tribal and is inside us all.
A lot of atheists, if you ask me, are people who have been seeking God and are in a journey of continuing to seek Him. They will eventually find God.

Atheists having this type of congregational nonsense to put down christians and religions is simply small minded. Being an athiest should be a sign of freedom, freedom from labels and boxes. You should be intelligent enough to understand that people who believe a GOd just dont know any better and love them anyway. Why waste time fighting them. The concept of a God is one of peace, love and order, the very things we need for a good stable society, if they want to believe let them, if they draw happiness from it let them. Thats why i dont like to be labeled as anything, i simply exist as myself, still discovering what this world has to offer but i am above certain things by now, i just see them differently but i love everyone that stands for love.

I don't have an issue with them believing a flea..or not believing anything..but they should leave us who believe in God alone..they can believe what they believe..and let us believe what we believe..the word God removed from national anthem is subject to majority referendum...if they can convince more kenyans then they can have their day..until then God remains in our anthem..

Dear Atheists, imagine God will never force you to believe in Him. He's not manipulative, He's Love. So you can be disagreeable, you can prove His inexistence all you want. He will never force Himself on you. So It's pointless to make all these points. Those who believe in Him (like I do) will continue to do so regardless. Thank you, as you were.

As a Muslim I do believe that everybody was born as a Muslim but everyone decides what to practice and how to practice, to be frank understanding this statement will be extremely difficult for so many people to realize and get perfect perspectives.

God is in the anthem because Kenya is over 80% Christian. That means Kenya is a Christian nation. If we were 80% moslem, there would be no other religion practiced openly.
your statistics are fake. Muslims: Christians are now 50:50 in Kenya. Somalis make the highest percentage of muslims in Kenya followed by others. Most muslims especially of Somalis marry 4 wives and have many children whilst most Christians have family planning.

@@christinegakure882 i was a christian and i know very many people who say they are christians and even go to church just because they were born into christianity and nothing about actual belief and faith, in the future when there is less stigma about being atheist i believe people will not be afraid to say that they are not christians or muslims ... that 80% you are saying is just numbers on paper, reality on the ground is that many of us 'christians' are not actually that ... we just say so in order to avoid stigma and long conversations with people we don't want to have them with. i can only speak for christians because i was born in a christian family, if its the same with people of other religions then i believe collectively atheist may be even more than you think or what is written on paper.
