There's a PlayStation game called Echochrome and number 3 reminded me of it the most. Surprised it wasn't mentioned since the game was released in 2008, had sequels, and was re-released on PS5 not that long ago.

ººWhen you are at the beach and you see what looks like a ship going over the horizon three miles out. This is purely optical and any telescope will bring the ship back into view. The oceans are flat and they cover 70% of the Earth's surface.
Also if you can see three miles of ocean in front of you, then you can see three miles of ocean to your left and three miles of ocean to your right, that's six miles of flat ocean with no horizons. So then, there can't be an actual horizon three miles out, it purely optical. The Earth does not curve eight inches per mile square. In fact, the Earth does not curve at all, it is flat and it can not be moved.
