    I work on Fire Alarm systems, and cut small conduit sometimes also have cut unistrut and the bandsaw cuts it so easy, we tried cutting it with a grinder and thank god we had the band saw cause it would have taken forever..

    I love mine! I have two 6.0's and it lasts me all day. Thanks for pointing out the shadow line by the way. That's going to be so useful. The thing I don't like is that you need an Allen wrench to adjust the shoe. But other than that I have no complaints. Thanks for the review!

      It has a little bit of a soft start, but has nice power even with a 2Ah.

    With 8-10tpi blades dulled super quick on me compared to the ones used in the video. I'm a hvac installer and I bought the 8-10 tpi because I cut alot of unistrut, 3/8" threaded rod, and angle iron.
    For that instance should I be doing a half squeeze on the variable trigger? I think the full squeeze might be dulling my blades.

    Do all my research I believe the M 12 compact is different than the M 12 fuel. I have not seen them put together as an M 12 compact fuel the way you have stated.

    • @MarkThomasBuilder
      @MarkThomasBuilder  Před 3 lety

      There's an earlier tool generation where the M12 bandsaw is much bigger. I forget if the earlier version is a FUEL.

    I try cutting with mines in some tight spots and it stops and won’t cut why would that be my battery is fully charged ?

    • @MarkThomasBuilder
      @MarkThomasBuilder  Před 3 měsíci

      Is the blade moving before you apply it to the thing to cut? If so another thing to try is a high Ah battery. Mine seems to work fine as long as the blade isn't pinched up against something before pulling the trigger.

    • @jesusurieta5911
      @jesusurieta5911 Před 3 měsíci

      Yes seems to get stuck while cutting and it’s 6.0 battery I dnt know if it’s a me thing or everyone has that issue but stops cutting when it’s in a tight cut

      Wow, 2x2 steel sound's like a real challenge for this, lol. The M18 Cutoff Tool is a good choice for the real thick stuff.
