The thing to note is that I did not receive this from Logitech directly, so I have no specs/materials for the mouse AT ALL, I had to investigate EVERYTHING myself. The "Gaming Surface Mode" that you need to enable to be able to control LOD is something you should check out from other reviewers, or Logitech's website!
How'd you manage to comment 15 hours before the video released
@@myteor5576unlisted video
WOWERS. THE ONLY GOATED REVIEWER WILL GET HIS HANDS ON THIS MOUSE
IS IT POSSIBLE TO BUY FROM U THE X2H. I NEED AN AUTOGRAPH ..1
G PRO X 3, 150 EUROS FOR 8K
you could argue that the gpx 1 was ahead of it’s time but it’s kinda sad to see how little they changed in 3 years while other companies made massive improvements to their mice
They should fix the double clicking issue with their switches.
I mean what is there to change tbh.
@@doomeR_007 4k/8k hz, weight, material, skates, a mini version
@@doomeR_007they already did by switching to opticals
@@doomeR_007 do you know what optical switches are?
Many thanks for always spending time on click feel. This is tremendously important, and it's confounding how -- despite mice having just a handful of categorical qualities -- many reviews still overlook one or more of them. Button quality (including sides) and click feel just shouldn't be such an issue for so many manufacturers, but it is (even after already having achieved tops marks on prior models). I have a number of optical button mice, and not one of them is equal to those with (good) simple mechanical switches.
man why did they change mouse feet shape for no reason, now we have to wait months again for tiger arcs to come out.. silly company
Agree spot on 👍
Tuesday saver, always the honest and most reliable review as normal!
my friend has been considering the gpx 2 but feared that the switches woulld feel like other opticals (he considers them all dull), so this is great news for him. now just gotta wait for regional pricing
Sick shots! Can I ask your cs res?
Haus, what about the "customizable side buttons" that were mentioned before?
@hausgaming by any chance do you know what the gaming surface mode does? it was below the optical switch feature
ngl that is kinda exciting for heavier clicks! the factory omron clicks were so light for me I ended up switching them out huano blue white dots
Honest and on point review Good job
We need 4k polling tests from you!
The biggest reason why I havnt considered switching to yet another Log mouse is Razers mice seem alr head of the game atm by a while, theyve had optical switches for a while yet even still they have motion sync on the Viper V2 Pro. And even if they were identical id much rather have that consistency, yet I have seem NOTHING abt motion sync as far as reviews go on youtube. Only 1 video covered it and no one seems to cover that aspect of comparison. Seems like the response time are almost identical to majority of mice out there so is it even worth it?
YO!!? Haus just blew away with that early review
What would you think about Lamzu Atlantis (new version) clicks compared to your list? Thanks in advance
Waited for this mouse and then there is a Haus Review. Must watch!
I'm wondering if the Hero 2 sensor has motion sync. Does Hero 2 have it like the 3395 and Focus Pro sensors?
Common Haus W. My patience paid off. Time to upgrade to GPX 2. I have used the lightforce switches extensively on the G502x and to me they feel much lighter and better than the razer opticals for example. but thats just me.
I'll be interested to see if other reviewers have the same thing to say about the click feel. Everyone seems to say the 502X switches feel light, but there's nothing to say that logitech haven't tweaked it for the GPX2 and are going for a heavier implementation more in line with a lot of other recent mice. Personally I'd rather they were on the lighter side.
Huge miss for those button clicks. WOW 😯
Didn't expect them to be like that.
I would love a G Pro Superlight mini !
I knew the fireworks review I'll find is from hausgaming. Never a dull moment.
So i really recently get a deathadder v3 pro coming from the first gpx. Is it worth it sending the deathadder back and get the gpx 2?
In sweden it's more like 200 dollars. And they still don't make their own charging dock. Anything at 130 and up should come with accessories that reflects the premium price.
May I know does the finalmouse stand a chance against gpx 2 or razer mouse? When it comes to motion latency
Why no MINI version as well?
Yesterday i received my vaxee npo1s wireless, played with it for 3 hours and instantly fell in love, seems like i am not gonna be missing out
I just bought the first gen red one with micro usb, should I sell it and get this one or keep it?
really good review, I will happily keep my GPX1
I haven’t got a Logitech G Pro Superlight yet and i don’t really care about price so which one should i get one or two?
I honestly wonder if the clicks are more durable as the gpx 1 for me feels like cheap plastic and while clicking it very hard when panicking it sometimes gets stuck in a weird position amd after a year it eventually broke
Please do a video on CS pro keyboards!
Zyw0o switched to the wooting 60he at the recent major and others are switching too
Which one should be used between optical only and hybrid ?
Which one you recommend gpx1 or gpx2? (Still haven’t decided which one to buy)
The DM clips you put in make it seem like you're controlling the crosshair waayyy better than you normally would. Were these just good clips or is the mouse really that good😂
Ready Or Not). Kumpaa suosittelisit ite näistä kahesta?
Does the scroll wheel have the same left/right click function as the g502?
This mouse sounds very underwhelming for an update to a mouse they released 3 years ago. it just sounds like a GPX thats moderately upgraded to meet whats been a standard in every mouse worth talking about thats released over the past year and makes the ULX from Finalmouse look like literal black magic with all its got going for it for a price of $189 vs this for $160. Unless this has one hell of a sale going i cant see any reason id buy it when i own a GPX ive had mods done to.
What are you talking about? The original superlight won't be a bad mouse even in 20 years. If you're good with the shape, it's a perfect mouse. It literally had no flaws that needed fixing. Stup1d kid
the finalmouse wont even have latency like their own wired 500hz mice and its gonna be 8000hz….
As someone who buys way to many mice this doesn't excite me at all, I will probably skip this release. Logitech really needs to revamp the g703 or bring out a new exciting shape already, they are getting left behind
What? That's literally the most used mice on the pro scene, what's there to change?
Hello human. Can you share pics of the internals? I want to use the red shell with new internals, had to mod the usb port tho. But wanna to try 🎉
Thanks for the great review bro
This latency situation has got to be similar to what happened at the beginning with the Lamzu 4k being inconsistent. I guess after a few firmware updates, the latency will be better than ever.
Well being 0.8ms faster is like going from 1000hz to 5000hz.
4000hz is equal to 0.75ms so they improved their 1000hz by 0.4 and the other 0.4 is the frequency increase
@@stefanpapdi5151 Yes, that was the motion latency. I was referring more to the click latency which is absolutely shocking that it performs that badly (relative to its predecessor of course).
Haus, are the clicks heavier or lighter than razer's gen 3 opticals in viper v2 pro?
I'm also interested. They seem way too heavy for me...
Most intelligent reviews for gaming peripherals🤙🏻
Still still waiting on the g703 superlight 😢
My gpro superlight side button broke should i get the same one or just upgrade to superlight 2
Damn, I was looking for replacement for Superlight, since it's the only mice that can use PowerPlay (I got custom deskmat with Eva foam and LGG Saturn XL on it). But this it not worth to change.
I agree with most comments that’s there’s no real reason to upgrade if you already have a super-light mouse but it’s hard to improve on perfection.
is the new version of g hub not support the superlight 2? g hub cant read my superlight 2
I have a 144hz monitor and play that on CS2, would this mouse be suitable?
With the normal Superlight being at 99,99€ in my country, is it worth the upgrade?
@hausgaming Instantly clicked on the video, thanks for the review! Harder clicks feel/ switches are a big let down for me nowadays for most mice,
considering that the new Pulsar mice and Ninjutso announcement will be using Omrons as well just like the GPX 2, but said to be lighter! May have to pick one up soon to try it but may return if I don’t like it (lol).
You can try changing mouse switches to ones that you like
I'll just hope on a updated g703!
For someone who never got a gpx before, do you recommend getting the new one or the og one? Cuz I’m really torn between the gpx and viper v2 pro and lampung Atlantis mini. I don’t know what to get, I own a model o wireless rn
what model did you go with?
60 ish gram is great balance between integrity and lightweight. Starlight 12 is lightweight but cost of its integrity. Wobble base and switches as well as gap between chase and base. The experience of using it was not really great. I eventually sold it. If starlight would fix its base, it is probably the best mouse ever created. Nonetheless, gpx2 is small upgrade and doesn't address its weaknesses at all
the optical switch is already a win for me, my superligh went bad twice in 6 months aned i had to rma each time, so superlight 2 would be really good + its usb c (but I hate the non braided cable again)
so I was waiting to see if this would be a good compared to the Razer; as not owning a gaming mouse, returing to PC gaming, just for fun, and play CSGO, COD, Warzone, Baldurs Gate3, Total War, and willl use the mouse for work and social, would this GPRO X 2 be worth the purchase to the Razer
Amazing. Excited to get this in hands for sure. It is truly a very anticipated mouse release that we have been waiting for. Really sad to hear how heavy clicks are since I already think the OP1we clicks are way too heavy.
I wont rush on getting this, had the gpx since 2020 the only mouse i go back to, yea its underwhelming granted they did sorta added modern stuff but slow with it, feels like a yearly release car with minor changes.
Can you give an Update on the 4k interpolling
i wanna see a upgrade review on motion latency and click latency in 4k
are these switches better than of razer v3 pro switches?
The best reviewer strikes again!
I think the upgrade compared to a GPX1 is very marginal.
I also have a brandnew Razer Viper V2 Pro in white and I LOVE IT, fantastic product.
So I think I'll pass for now since I don't really need it and 170€ is quite the number. 🐻
Just ordered the Viper V2 PRo
can someone tell me what should be the Razer deathadder v3 pro click latency with 4000hz ?
Great video! Earned a sub for sure. Watched this as I'm eagerly awaiting the delivery of mine :D
Does it have the same coating?
I'm never buying anything off logetic again, their scroll wheel is complete garbage, I press left click and it triggers scroll wheel, you all hate it when you jump shoot someone like that.
Thank you for another honest viking review! Love it!
Im really happy with the adjustable LOD. The super low LOD has been the only problem I've had with GPX 1
Would you mind explaining to me what does LOD do inside a mice?
@@luelegante866you can adjust the lift off Distance which is the distance when the sensor stops responding to movement the g pro 1 had a lod of 1mm
@@luelegante866 lift of distance
The question is, what is the HIGH LOD setting? If it's still only 2mm it serves no purpose whatsoever. I hope it's at the very very least 3mm then I'll try it.
@@luelegante866 lod is lift of distance, if its set to low then as soon as u lift up ur mouse even a little bit, it will stop tracking instantly..
the higher the LOD, the more u have to lift ur mouse for it to stop tracking.. if the LOD is set to high and u lift ur mouse too little, it will still keep tracking and ur cursor will move on the screen
low is the best for me, because it makes sure my cursor only moves when my mouse is touching the mousepad, as soon as i lift my mouse to re-adjust, it stops tracking
Hopefully an update comes out that gives us 4k polling rate. Coming from an m2k and testing the mouse from 1k to 2k, there was no visible difference in smoothness/tracking. But bumping it up to 4k/8k, mouse tracking feels super smooth that going back to 1k felt a bitter blurry/stuttery. Not a lot of games support the high polling rate natively but with a w11 update not too long ago, it fixes the stuttering issue and you can leave it at 4k/8k with no issues. At least for me since I have the pc parts to run it and the lg oled monitor to really benefit from it
It will receive an update to 4k
@@apec1p389 yeah I saw that. Idk if it will be an update or dongle update.
@@Luftrille it’s not fake. It’s mentioned in the Logitech website. Also I’m no longer interested in it. I bought a zaunkoenig m3k.
Do you know if it's possible to swap the optical switches with mechanical switches or would there be compatibility issues
Not possible!
Gpxs2使用powerplay的接收器可以用2khz或4khz嗎?
Nice I love heavy clicks
what does gaming surface mode do?
I didn’t understand the sensor calibration thing, does it address the dpi deviation?
Yes, it's there to match your previous mouses dpi to the GPX 2, which imo is fairly useless unless you had insane deviation with your previous mouse.
Had the superlight and it was very big for my hand... Sad that they don't make a "mini" version of this shape... Clicks are definitely personal taste, I have a op1we and I'm loving the clicks (It can also be QC related), just sad that the performance on the op1we is not on pair with the last releases from other brands in terms of hardware/motion delay and click response. Nothing that bothers me a lot since I play at 400dpi's... :P enjoying the mouse more than the HTX ace (36g) that was simply to light for me.
For me it's not really something I notice in-gamr but they will eventually release the w version of op1
you bought the wrong version of the g wolf. the hts plus is a gpx mini, the htx is a viper mini mini
i would love mini version as well !
ITS HERE
That Razer 4k can I have link to buy It please?
They couldve just made a lightweight g903 in my opinion. The shape on that mouse is so good
Let me know when they fix the scroll wheel. Everyone I know has issues with the scroll wheel eventually scrolling the wrong way e.g. scrolling down a page and then randomly jumping up. Completely unacceptable for a $150+ mouse.
mor liek 1.2 such an incremental change when we're a whole new ocean with mice over the last three years
Very helpful video, thank you
Glad to hear that!
Seems to be an upgrade all the way around, the switch change is way better if you ask me. The clicks were too light on the GPX original - tactile and harder to press is better.
Why no kovaaks scores?
Haus with the goods!
Thank you, Arrge
What do you mean by "a lot of variance per mouse " for razer switches?
Experience varies depending on the model of the mouse, it's not only about the switch itself.
I think their approach is somewhat understandable.
If they remake the whole thing to compete with some brands like Finalmouse, It simply wont be superlight anymore.
slight improvements are great in this case since they can keep the core users who love the OG mouse but still provide a better product IMO.
The weight decrease isn't masively changed. We have the ultralight which is going to be 29 grams this year. Despite this comment really enjoyed the review and earned a sub
29 in small, 33 medium
The weight difference being massive was a joke obviously! 👍
After having my GPX for nearly 3 years, probably going to pick this up. My GPX has finally started to spin out (very really), so this will be nice.
wonder if it'll be a case like the XM2WE where the clicks need to break in as well?
Never had this with my XM2we, but definitely could be the case. I've used it for longer than a week, and they haven't broken in yet 🤔
does it has douuble click issues ???
back to the g703 superlight waiting room i go :(
Heavier mouse clicks seem kinda dumb for a lightweight mouse like this one, i feel as though with the heavier actuation it would make aim abit jittery.
Still using my G Pro Wireless from 4 years ago.
Basically if you got a GPX in 2020 and it's worn out you can now replace it with a slightly better version of the same thing you like. Otherwise it's not as compelling as the Viper V2 or DAV3, IMO.
This is the boat I'm in, had the GPX since launch day and I know the shape works very well for me. I'm not too keen on the idea of heavier clicks though, the light click feel is one thing I really like with the GPX. I know the viper shape doesn't work for me, but I'm tempted to give the dave a shot instead.
pretty much my case lol. My GPX is starting to show its age, even starting to spin out from time to time.
DAV3 sucks for competitive FPS though. It's an office task or MMO mouse. Sensor, clicks, and side buttons feel great and it's a comfortable ergonomic shape but it is not an athletic mouse. The width of the baseplate is WAY too wide and feels like it protrudes further than the side walls.
my sidee buttons and right n left clicks sound nothing like does video can anyone help me change
It cost $300 AUD probably plus $10 delivery in Australia. Thats a lot. Same cost for the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro
Do u think the gpx2 is a disappointment? Cause i dont see any real changes except the 2kzz
It really depends, it is somewhat disappointing, but at the same time they've made it as responsive as most 4K mice on the market and it has better battery life and is much more reliable!
I honestly people are hung up on the weight not changing much. If this was 55g, everyone would be excited for the mouse. The tech side is great, as expected and they already had leading tech with their 1khz. I can also see why they didn't want to change their weight too much. Tough spot to be in
Gpx 2 or viper v2 pro?
