    You are doing a fine job 💝 Reg was commenting on one vid that a piece of a tree he was bringing down would make really good boards for the saw mill but to cut it that long was just to dangerous and not worth the risk. He watches the clouds too see if wind is coming too , ELOHIM YAHWEH 💝our CREATOR made you all to be able to do stuff like that and even acess the potential for a wrong cut ECT and praying you guys all are safety first 💝☺

  • @wandawTube
    @wandawTube Před 6 lety +2

    Hello, I like seeing how you deal with all the rigging, because it's still a bit confusing for an amateur such as myself. What is the reason you drop the long limbs with lots of branches by rope but let the huge, heavy limbs fall into the ground? Are they too heavy for the rope to slow their fall? Don't you need the rope person on the ground to pull the big limbs quickly away from you so they don't come back at you (for example back leaner limbs )? Also, I assume the heavy limbs put huge dents in the yard. Do you have to regrade the land after you're finished falling the tree? I enjoy watching your work; I just have a lot of questions on technique. Thanks.

    • @NZarboristBryce
      @NZarboristBryce  Před 6 lety +2

      wandaw Hi thanks for the interestin my videos. Rigging the long branches was done to avoid the concrete wall, small white fence and to stop them getting hung in the other smaller trees. The lawn wasnt an issue so I was able to bomb out everything else big. When rigging you want to possition yourself so you arnt in the firing line of the return swing, and make sure the groundsman knows to let it run so that if it does swing back it is below you.

    • @wandawTube
      @wandawTube Před 6 lety

      Thanks for elucidating. It's fun to watch the "bomb out" heavy limbs drop and hit the ground. Once I learn more and get the right equipment, I look forward to doing that one day.

    • @jjj87484
      @jjj87484 Před 4 lety

      It would be fair to say a few pounds per rope, depending on how high he is and the diameter. 200' of rope is like 10 or 15 pounds. Normally you won't need to have more than two or three at any given time. The saw and big rigging systems are the heaviest things you'll have in a tree.
