I think if your snipers fire first and kill the lynxes, the lynxes will fire but they won't turn level three. So something like leopard would work. Lemon I think would also be good.

Mantis shark is one of my favorite synergies. Instead of the shark only getting stats in battle that reset at the end of combat, it now has permanent stats which helps a lot with consistency
This is going to sound weird, but I felt so much relief when you lost on turn 17 in the first match because I was just thinking what would happen if you drew that round and the mantis killed the skunk and peanuted clownfish😂

I was thinking about clownfish, so you spend 9 gold to get a value of +4/+4 on level up, however I also see that you buy lots of pets when playing with mantis, so I think 9 gold would be better spend in canned food to get you +6/+3 permanently. Also miss the times when canned food gave you +2/+2 per. So it would be +6/+6 for the value of 9 gold. Also happy that your risky shark play payed off :D
Don't forget that Mantis is inherently good with Dog, since you will constantly be buying new pets. This works especially well if you sacrifice a tapir to help level something up or an Eagle to get a tier 6 you’re seeking (maybe stego, spino, or tapir).
Small suggestion: I think your videos would be a tad bit better if you didnt cut the attempts so quickly. Like at the end of the run (win or lose) I think people want to see your reaction! Especially in this video after you won the video ends mid sentence in your reaction lmao. But I don’t think I’m the only one that wants to see your reaction. Why does he put the hedgehog and badger at the front of the team? Wouldn't it be better to puts them in the back since then they wouldn't damage friendly pets?
But then most of the enemy team is dead so it wouldn't damage the opposing team either, just make sure the pets behind hedgehog can survive its damage and put it as forward as possible, so it deals the most damage possible without killing your team, just weakening it instead
that last opponent on run 2 was amazing, might have to try that for myself

Praying mantis is what “death” builds needed to be viable. Only issue is you hve to keep sacrificing so you will only ever have 4 strong animals
