NO WAY I ALWAYS HAD THE SAME IDEA OF SPACE WHALE THINGIES INHABITING THE END!!! Some of my ideas please hear me out. I thought that an interesting mob idea could be a large space whale called “the mourner” it would kind of be like the anti ghast. It would be a friendly mob slightly larger than the ghast, and it would make similar crying sounds distorted to sound like whale song. It would add a lot of ambiance and mystery. If you shot it, it would simply start flying upwards and slowly fade away, dropping a single tear which could be used for some sort of crafting. If you were kind to it it could lead you to an unexplored end city. The one drawback would be that it pulls all recovery compasses towards it, an eerie detail which would make the game slightly harder.
I love this mod! Do you ever consider also porting it to fabric like critters and companions?
I'd love to get it ported, but ports are difficult and our developer is currently working on some other projects!

I wish I had this whale in 1.16.5 it's so beautiful it reminds me of whales from the old oceancraft mod you can't do a single backport with just this whale please it would be perfect in my modpack
I know it's a lot of work and you must have a lot of plans but can't you do this at least once? would please a lot of people who play on 1.16.5 with this mod
or you can make a separate mod for 1.16.5 with just the whale would it be easier?
