Appreciate your feedback!
Hi, Max! Thank you for this topic! This video is very insightful since I've been eyeing Alberta and Bow Valley College as one of my options. You made it easier for me to consider BVC or the schools mentioned in the video.
You're so welcome!
Awesome video ! Thankyou for this , moving soon there
Keep up the good work !
See you there
Glad you enjoyed it!
This video is very insightful ! I'm now considering moving to Calgary once I receive my PR.
Thank you, keep it up !

One of your best videos. Looking forward to more of these.
Appreciate it!
Thank you for such valuable info!
from an international student in Ottawa, ON
Appreciate your feedback!
Thanks for your channel man â€
Welcome! â€ïž
Great channel! thanks to you for your efforts.
I really appreciate it! Thank you
Ill do one good thing and one bad thing- Good was Loved how clear and precise the video was shown through real life examples in a concise manner, bad was a little stretch on the topic of a specific program in the university/colleges, could have been more focused in general topics and then could have gone specific. Overall- very specific and very informative video!
Hi! Appreciate the feedback, thanks a lot :)
@@ImCanada well of course, you're watching a sales pitch, basically a glamed up ad so they will get the message they want to get accorss
Your videos are super informative for a student like me in Toronto. I have been looking for the best cities I can settle once achieving my PR, and the way you briefly explained what living in Calgary is like made me start getting my life in order to make that move.
Wow! So cool! Thanks for the comment!
I was thinking the same and did that but now I moved back to Toronto and I am so much happier than I have been in Calgary but it differs for people all the way
Yes move to Calargary and realize how much more vibrant everywhere else in Canada is
@@mohshall7042 Lol thanks for not moving here đ
Nice video...very informative. Soon to come in Calgary. Thanks
Amazing! Thanks!
very informative and encouraging content! i love itâŠkudus from the philippines
Thanks for watching!
excellent video ma boi
Thanks
Great video! It was quite informative. And now, I feel like living in Calgary. I hope to study or move as PR tho..
Thanks for sharing đ
Good luck!!
Very nice video!
Thank you!!
Very informative video đ
:)
Thanks for share the information about Calgary, I plan to be there the next year...
Good luck!
Check Ottawa, Halifax or Winnipeg.
Calgary is one of the most comfortable cities in the whole world and I am intending to study and live there đ
Great stuff
Thanks đđŒ
Incredible, i thought of Alberta as a province like Saskatchewan but it is more developed and vibrant, thinking of making my profile ready for the SAIT school, thank you Max.
So glad you changed your mind!
It is exactly like Saskatchewan, do not believe what this video says, just part of propaganda to get people go there
Hi Max, your video opened my eyes. I am from Trinidad and I am hoping to send my daughter to school in Canada in 2024. Thanks for the ideas.
Appreciate it! Hope to show more of Canada!
Good Job Max !! Here is Anderson from Brazil !!!
Hi there! Thanks
Indeed a very informative vlog
Glad you think so!â€ïž
It's a wonderful city full of oportunities and awesome people to share time with.
Yes, I think so!
To all the people looking at moving. Before you come out here, please please please understand we get like 8 months of winter; real winter; not west coast winter. It's bright sunny skies all day, but it's bitterly cold (-40 to -20 with occasional chinooks). During these winter months most people aren't going out to do things, there's a good chance you'll feel extremely isolated and alone. If you can steel yourself against these factors, you're golden. It does get old though much like how the west coasts dang-near semi-permanent overcast gets old.
Thank you for sharing you perspective on the city
OK THANK YOU
You're welcome!
Love it Max!!!!! Love how you speak in chinese!! :D
I appreciate it MCđ„°â€ïž
Congratulations to you u are doing well
Thanks so much!
Ahhh the weather I just can't.... Everything else is great!
Yeah, but if you have a car and a coat - all good
Plan to visit Calgary next Sep,I canât wait for such a long time.
Exciting! The longer the runway - the bigger the plane ;)
Calgary is a nice city but the big problem is the winter. Good luck!
Yeah, true...
I am already in Canada, but still appreciate such good video!
I appreciate your comment!
My dream cityyyyyy! Thank sooooo much.
Glad you liked it!
Hi Max! Your videos are the best! I would like to ask your opinion if which schools in AB is best for one like me who is planning to take up Early Childhood Education. Thanks a lot for what you do!
Appreciate it! BVC or SAIT are great as I presented in the video
Far more immigrants should move there. Calgary obviously has the resources to accommodate those who need financial and linguistic support.
Yes :)
@@ImCanadaWhat about Edmonton? A good choice?
No, this city doesn't need more slackers
@@belissimo724
What do you MEAN?!!??!!
No, I work in residential construction here in Calgary. People are moving here from both in and out of country at way too high of a rate. Builders cant keep up which has caused many to use bad materials, bad workers, and usually a combination of both. Tons of defects, crazy high housing prices now and traffic way worse than jt was 2-4 years ago. We need some time to catch up.
Hey Max!
I've been your viewer since very long
I can't thank you enough for all those informative vedios that u provide us (international students)
I want u to suggest me any college in calgary which is best for diploma in finance studies .
Thanks in advance âșïž !!
Hi! Thanks a lot! Check out BVC ;)
Insanely informative! Itâs great to hear how much the government and schools care about the lives of international students. Especially hearing it from a government official strengthens the trust in all the positive things that were mentioned. Love it!
Thanks a lot! It's truly amazing
great content bro :) aspiring international student here from the philippines ;)
Appreciate the comment :)
Love it
Thanks!!
It's a good video. Can you pls make a video on temperature in Calgary
Hi! Yes, it's actually really cold but there's glass passages between buildings and if you have a car - it's no problem
Cold and 8 months of winter
Hi Max, could you make a video of what you think about Kamloops, BC. Or at least could you give me your thoughts on life in Kamloops and BC as a whole. I got accepted into Thompson Rivers University, Kamloops.
Hi! Will definitely try!
I love both Calgary and Edmonton. I have to be careful driving due to automated photo radar tickets.
It's tricky! My car was towed away
Interesting video. Planning to study at NAIT in edmonton. Quite similar to SAIT but in Edmonton. Can you do a video or analysis over there in Edmonton ?
I will try!
@@ImCanada hopefully looking forward to it
Nice, I moved to Calgary half a year ago.
Congrats!
is calgary worth coming to as an international student and can i work as a student to paid my school fee?
@@naijatv.6341 nope.
Work integrated learning makes ALL the difference!
Absolutely!
@@ImCanada i think people really write off Calgary and Alberta in general. It's the place I'd most like to go (if EE draws ever get fixed)
As much as I agree that Calgary is amazing, itâs also one of the big two in Alberta and Alberta itself is like a lot of farm states in America in terms of culture
Yes, but the city is quite urban
@@ImCanada Iâve always heard that Alberta is canadian Texas but Edmonton was the one thatâs Canadian Dallas, does that apply to Calgary as well then?
I want to move to Calgary right now!! đđđđđđ
Letâs move together â€ïž
stop scamming ppl
Very cool video thanks for giving me a chance to talk about my experience! 4:21
Hi Tyler, thanks for pitching in :)
Confirming Calgary is the best place to live, enjoy nature, grow kids, and love the vibrant energy here. This is the second time one is single, and now with my complete family, I will be here forever. I am studying at SAIT and to be honest, is a huge and enormous difference in the quality of education. I just love this place
So glad you think this!
Calgarian here. If you're determined to come to Canada, Calgary is a great option. It's cheaper than Toronto and Vancouver but it's not an inexpensive City. Its also, very cold here in the Winter. Immigration is always welcome here but make sure your ready for the cold and the cost of living when you get here.
Great video though ws sad when I heard some students face psychological trauma thank God some institutions r helping out
Yes, it's good there's. support
I currently live and work in Winnipeg but thinking of moving to Calgary after I get my Canadian citizenship. Also I finished school in Winnipeg under business related program. Hopefully ill find a job when I plan my move.
Yes, I think there's more happening compared to Winnipeg
Thank you for making this video.
Iâve always connected with Calgary and everything the city has to offer. Unfortunately Canadian immigration wonât invite me to move out there đ Looks like Iâll just have to stay here in Australia and wonder what if for the rest of my life đą
Oh no, I'm sorry... but hey, Australia isn't a bad place
Nice one Max, from your interview housing is cheaper in Calgary, but cost of education is as expensive as it is in Toronto & Vancouver. The only shortfall in your video is you did not mention if the wages in Calgary are better or worse than those of Vancouver and Toronto.
Great point that you brought up
Wages are higher and less taxes.
BC is very expensive
But the good jobs in Calgary are not stable. If youâre in the energy industry, which is a major employer, count on having to change your job/layoffs every couple years or so. The place can also be too much right wing for some people. Consider all pros and cons before moving.
@@seya_eury hope medical jobs stable at Calgary?
@@donaldonyibe6326 from my experience a decade ago, they are somewhat stable in comparison. But many medical workers left during covid due to high stress.
HI MAX ARE THESE ALL DESIGNATED LEARNING INSTITUTES ? THANK YOU THESE IS ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO
Yes they are! APPRECIATE YOU!
Nice place to study
Glad you think so!
Some very good content with imp. drcision makers on this channel. I refer to his education, college videos.
Glad to read this!
I am a proud international student at SAIT.
How much is the rent there. Im planning to study at SAIT
Hi! Thanks! If you live on residence - $875/m
If you're still in Alberta, can you go and make a video on Edmonton please?
Not in Calgary anymore, back to Halifax, but I might!
@@ImCanada okay:(
Great video brother! Calgary and Alberta are really beautiful. How would you rate MBA from ucalgary? Please do let me know
Hi! Thanks! I think it's one of the best in Canada
Will need to try out the Chinese restaurants first to see if they meet my standards.
Hahaha! Good point
I have never seen such a beautiful detailed but concise content.
This video changed my mind. I was worried about which city I should choose and after this video now i know what my targeted city is in Canada as a student.
Thank you so much đ appreciate it
Nice city
It is!
Tanky
?
Well done! However, not everyone wants a big urban center. Check this out! 40 Incredible Reasons (in colour) Why I Live Where I Do...in Cochrane, Alberta, Canada. (Parts 1 & 2) Two slideshow/videos with music on the town, 25kms west of Calgary. Some of these photos will blow you away!
Thanks for sharing!
Hello, which province will you advice for someone who wants to have a Diploma in Data Analytics and work there?
Iâd say BC or Ontario
Scope of construction management
It's quite good
Hey max, After watching this video I really want to go calgary for my studies. But can I get PR with my 2 years diploma course? And I have Seen some reviews that says Bow valley college is really bad. what you have to say about it and can you please tell me about AMB college in calgary. Thank you so much for your time
Hi! Yes, in Alberta PR pathways for students are quite good. In terms of reviews, I heard only positive stuff, I think it depends on the person and their expectations
Calgary is a beautiful, clean city
It certainly is
and not affordable
Hi, what type of camera do you use, and which brand?
Hi! Sony a6400 with a Sigma 16mm 1.4f lens
working as a nurse in AHS is not the most rewarding tbh. You deal with a lot of BS from gov't cutting their budgets yet adding more work. Hospitals are running thin on nurses, my unit is short of 1 or 2 nurses every day.
Oh really? Thanks for sharing this
However tuition fee is a little high, compared with NS and NB. Is that right?
Very similar, but a little higher. Though, think about jobs and cost of living
Guess Calgary will be our city after PR. Vancouver area is too expensive. The only bad thing is the weather.
Calgary is quite good
Hi Max, thanks for your video! I want to study business in Canada after graduating from university, which city is more recommended, Calgary or Halifax?
Hi! Calgary
Hi! Halifax.
Calgary is really good.
Thank you!
Man I came on to your vedio for information but leaving this comment for the đ đ. I am the most I need person for it.
Hi! Thank you, unfortunately someone else was selected, but I'll do this in the future
Do not recommend BVC at all for IT or software. It's all show. SAIT is where the gold is. Education difference is massive and worth the money for sure!
Really? Interesting!
@@ImCanada Yes really. I was in the first batch when they started a whole new department for IT and software. Not sure if this is marketing strategy but, SAIT is much better out of experience during studying and after when applying for jobs
Edmonton and Calgary are the last 2 great Canadian Cities đšđŠ
They are great
Hi, I would like to go for a post graduate diploma in international relations in Calgary. Can you recommend any school that offers this course for 2years and also pgwp?
Hi! It would mostly be a masters, check either the University of Alberta or the University of Calgary
Calgary is expensive, the fact it is slightly less so in comparison to huge price hikes in the rest of Canada over the last decade dosen't make it less so. Unemployment is high, cost of living is high, we don't share the same definition of culture, cost of studying is very high, Banff is so expensive Albertans can't even afford to visit it! I'm all for promoting the region, but do it in a honest and balanced way.
It's a good option I think but there's always good and bad in everything
â€â€â€

How likely it is to get work after doing masters in public health. YOU MADE ME FALL IN LOVE WITH CANADA,hope I get scholarship to study there
Hi! It's nice of you to say! i hope to you will, make sure to network and build a skillset
Excellent advertisement.
Thanks!!
Some of the students from India were under huge stress from their families and financial burdens. Their parents borrowed money to send them to Canada. There was news reports of this situation on the internet.
Yeah, I remember, it's not a good approach
I implore you Canada is the best.
:)
My agent recommended red deer pol and also bow valley, do you think bow valley is really good for an international student like me going for a diploma?
BVC is good
@@ImCanada Thanks! I was also thinking of choosing BVC as someone I know lives there. But I just needed some assurance, and your reply mattered :D
Great job, please I want to ask this question and hopefully expects a recommendation. I am a student studying Renewable energy engineering in Ghanaian University and currently in my second year so I have two more years and yet I want to study in Canada, please is is advisable to make that decision and if so can you kindly have a recommendation for me?
I don't think that Canada has a specific degree called "Renewable Energy Engineering". Usually, we just get a general engineering degree (Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical) and then learn on the job. Canada has wind, solar, hydro, and geothermal. It has a few CANDU nuclear power plants and is thinking about SMR (small module reactors). Presently, it is shifting from coal-fired power plants to natural gas-fired power plants.
Thank you very much
Hi! I would check for programs related or even an MBA, Vancouver would be a great option
Is it easy in brampton to get pr? And also which province has the best job opportunities for me who chose computer science in algoma uni?
I'd not go to Brampton
