This is part 1 of a short series where I create a 1700 scenario in Age of Civilizations II. Note that not all the nations or borders are 100% accurate and some civilizations still need to be added, mainly in the HRE. In part 2 I will be finalizing borders, adding missing civs and/or fixing inaccurate ones, and completing the map. Hopefully you like it and let me know of any suggestions.

*Portugal* is not trash, the problem is that it may be irrelevant for the most of the history, cause most of what he does is like a secret or something that did not change a lot the world. In my opinion, one of the most notable acts that he could do was to go at war in the second world War, go to India without use the Suez channel sacrificing the possibility of die at the end of the world (Based on the believings that earth was flat) and be able to get macao from China

Dude, there was a real lot of more tribes in India and Africa, I recommend to watch a video like "timelapse of the history of the world" (political map), With that I completely did the Napoleonic war scenarios, it was a real mess up, a lot of tribes and weird countries everywhere in India, China, and Africa but I was realistic, the only failure is that the next day by an unknown reason the game (vanished) and I needed to re-download it again and redo the process ALL AGAIN.

@@Dogeman73 There were tons of tiny "countries" if they could even be called that at the time. They were all very decentralized with very basic monarchies and dinasties. It's true that I overreacted when calling them tribes, but it's just not like the monarchies that were in Europe at the time (I'm speaking of the India)

Scotland didn't join the Union until 1707 when both crowns were United.
I know, they were in a personal union in 1700 and it's kind of hard to simulate that in the game. In the downloadable version a made them a vassel of England.

By the way you used wrong France, in game theres the Bourbon France (Dynasty that ruled over france since 1590 to 1789) whilst changed the national flag
Bourbon is a Dynasty in Spain but not in France ,they are part of the Capetian Dynasty

Well UK didn’t unite until 1707, so if this is only 1700 Scotland, Wales, England, and Ireland are independent. Ireland and Wales are also vassals of England

You did a litle mistake the inflants (Latvia and half of Estonia) bellong to Poland and Lithuania. Other half of Estonia belong to Sweden
It was like this Sweden invaded the Commonwealth in the middle of 1600 CE or 17th century and got almost all of Livonia which also included Riga in modern day Latvia

Why you put communist Laos? First communist country is Russia after revolution in 1917 when Bolsheviks get idependence. And after years is formed Union of Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) or Soviet Union. i remember when bolsheviks created. why? im from poland. 1918 - poland got independence as Polish Congress Kingdom or Congress Country (pol. Kongresówka)
1919-1921 - Polish-Bolshevik battle. When bolsheviks haves maybe 4x bigger army than polish and POLAND wins with bigger army. In polish this is named Cud nad Wisłą. Wisła is Vistula (a river from baltic to moutains "Tatry"). Cud - something like supper (wonder)
