My Citroën CX was brilliant in the snow, with fairly narrow 185 tyres and raised suspension.

è tutto vero l'ho avuta anche io non riuscivi a farla sbandare sulla neve,e non avendo il freno a mano sulle ruote posteriori non poi cosi divertenti però ti dava sicurezza

@karlprades German cars are very competitive when it's dry and sunny. But when it rains or snows, germans cars are just pieces of sh.it ! Watching a Mercedes/BMW under the rain/snow is a great moment of laughing. They need to pray the Holy E.S.P to hand the road correctly. Germans engineers know building gasoline engines, but the Frenchs have the most important knowledge concerning the conception of chassis (except in competition where Renault or Citroën engines dominate the german vehicles).

"When it rains or snow germans cars are just piece of shit", go say that to an Audi Quattro owner.......

@@07wmtc lol, Quattro makes it worse.
Quattro only improves the acceleration, but that‘s it.
When it comes to wet/snowy roads, good brakes are more important that AWD.
AWD gives the mostly inexperienced drivers the wrong feeling that they can drive on snow/rain like on normal dry roads. But the brakes are still the same, even worse on snow and ice.
When it rains, BMW and Mercs lay in the ditch
When it snows, Audis lay in the ditch

@@anonymous-ts5ih That's your opinion, I had a 200 quattro back then, driving at 170 km/h on highways under heavy rain. On snow even with summer tires many of your good braking car were either stuck ( you can't get better brakes than being stuck)or went to the other side of the road kissing trees and other poles lol! Real talk. Seems like you live in a theoritacal world, you obviously seem to forget that a quattro system has a superior engine brake ( surprised you don't know that, you act like a know it all), plus on that gen you can turn the Abs off. Had many cars, Fwd, rwd, awd, on snowy road awd is way way better, that's what I think from real experience. Why do many rally cars have a 4awd system, if all it takes is good brakes lol? One thing for sure, one can easily get used to awd keep those habits, but be caught off guard, when driving a 2 wheel drive, in the same conditions, ask me how I know.
