I really love the Nothing phone camera. I like actual colors, always a fan of gcam. And Nothing camera is great in that case. Give them time, I am pretty sure they can improve the camera even more. What they really need to focus on is Software, they need to fix some issues, apart from that the software experience is good. Lets see how they manage everything

They did that much in 2 years And they are promising 3 years of updates. I'm sure with updates the optimization will be far better ,lets hope for the best .I m actually planning to buy this phone in diwali, by that time i hope they will drop the price to 29 to 30 k and with bank offer it will be pretty good deal

I started this video on the wrong foot, You didn't seem as well-informed as some other content creators out there...however, I kept watching since you were the only creator with a "camera review" of this phone. SUPER IMPRESSED. as the video unfolded, I was convicted for drawing such strict conclusions in the beginning... They fixed the color consistency in wide angle and damn the photos look so good now on nothing

It's closer to price in S20FE, although the FE has a shorter life span left now, but I wanna see how it holds up against this one
Phones have overkill processors at this point so "life span" lowers only because companies cripple it on purpose with updates or restrict updates as a way to force you to buy a new phone. Its a phone, not a server farm so they need to focus on "less is more" by eliminating code overhead and consolidating features.

The real reason nothing is comparing themselves to apple so that they will not be compared with android phones. And when you compare your brand with apple its automaticaly raise their value.

New update is just came out on nothing phone 1 updated dynamic range and the camera things , stay updated with nothing phone 1 it was just awesome to having a company which is updates there device very quick 🙂

S20fe pros -
1. telephoto camera ( which you will use 1 or 2 days to see xoom)
2. customization on one ui scene
3. charger in box
4. 4k 60 fps9 (you will not see any diference in 4k 60 fps and 1080p 60fps it is becasue 4k is only use to crop video without removing any details of object but size of 4k 60 video is very much high
5. ip68 ( ip53 in nothing) but you will not put your phone in water and rain because warrenty will gone, so not it highly matters ( and if your mobile fallen in water bucket you will instantly remove it and nothing much happen seriously i am using oneplus nord and it drops many times in bucket but nothing happened
Nothing pros
1.good camera front and back and it will improve very much because of software updates and mostly people dont use wide angle camera. i will dominate iphone and pixel camera as you seen in video
2. Good battery because of optimization( tech droider yt video)
3. Good performance in pubg (Techy pathashala bgmi test 55+ fps )
4. Stock Android
5 it will get better updates and in very less time it is because it is new company and it will focus only on 1 device
6. update until android 15 (s20fe - android 13 last)
7. 3 thousand cheaper
8. 100 times better looks (s20fe look is too old, specially camera looks
9. Better Build Glass back , metal frame, Gorilla glass 5 on front and black

And I want a decent camera (selfie doesn't really matter)
Wireless charging and reverse wireless charging are somewhat necessary for my usage....and I need long software updates

The nothing phone has the same main camera as the Zenfone 9 right? I'm considering buying the Zenfone 9 or a iphone 13 mini, have you taken raw photos with both of the phones? (The iphone using some third party app) Have you tested the slowest shutter speed you could get without shake thanks to stabilization in the main cameras?? I want a small phone with a good camera and I'm torn between the zenfone9 and iphone 13 mini. I don't care about jpeg quality but I really want a good raw main camera

Too much post-processing in software. Also, how is the image processing speed after taking a picture until the time the picture becomes usable considering iPhone and Pixel 6 have dedicated hardware for image processing.

I bought nothing phone 1. And my friends have iphone but after watching my camera they b like. Pls take pic from your phone. Just happy with my nothing phone 1. Wat a premium experience we got.

Nothing and OnePlus phones store the color data differently then the bigger phone players. You only see this when you transfer the video too pc/laptop. This is because the Nothing and OnePlus phones shoot in another Rec. color.
I think the video oversaturation is because of the color encoding as was the case with oneplus phones.. pls do check that out

All phones even mid-range ones perform well in daylight. The real difference is the low light photography which nothing phones suck at.
Wide angle lens are from samsung and main is from sony so , it is expected
Lens flare is not always the bright light, it could be on low light and artificial light too..i used pixel 2 for 4 years and it was severely bad...i complain to Google also about that but they were not able to fix that...
Samsung galaxy can double click power button for shortcut camera too

When it came to outdoor photos I preferred the Nothing phone ( main camera -good lighting) the pixel was my least favourite! I have a pixel 6 and iphone 13 - both have their strengths and weaknesses. Subjectively speaking, the iphone performs best in video 😊 I'd say the nothing phone is an absolute bargain and performs great in other areas too!
Compare the camera with Realme 9 pro plus, Oneplus 2T, Moto Edge 20 fusion etc.
i.e. the immediate priced rivals

During night/evening when there is no light(try switching off the light), when selfie photo is clicked we are seeing a complete white screen and photo gets clicked. Is that some expected setting in phone 1 so flash kind of light falls on face..@techWiser can you please check and comment on this.. pls.

Still i safe to say samsung s21 and s22 series almost close the gap in video performance to iphones..Still iphone does the best....i tried in lot of Android phones...In video department iphones always shines...using iphone12 and s21plus...and the slow-motion in iphones always top notch...🔥
Given the comparison is unfair but it's isn't that unfair when they themselves compare them to Apple and talk big while delivering almost average.
- Credit where due the camera comparisons shows that the main camera is producing good natural colors but given good lighting conditions every other phone in this price range could deliver same or less result not worse (don't reply other Chinese manufacturer produces saturated colors but it is what most prefer the MKBHD camera blindtest proves this) .
- Also this phone should be compared with S20FE, Moto Edge 30, Nord 2T or with Realme 9Pro+ cameras.
- I guess in 3-4 months Nothing will provide some updates and also the price in sales could come around 28k than it would be a better deal.
