shields are fun and stuff, but if everybody is too STUPID to get BEHIND the shield when the boss attacks... had a few boss fight where my teammates would run infront of the schield or out of the bubble and instantly die and complain afterwards that i didnt put shields up. And if JohnCrux45 reads this, yep i'm talking about you
nobody really uses ajax in end game that I see, but everyone wants to run to my shields, smdh. protecting the team so they can kill faster is the ultimate dps boost.
I’m rocking 100K+ def 25k HP and 12k shields at max level on my Ajax but I’ve put in 4 crystals so far and an energy activator so I can eat dmg and pull agro but my dmg does take a down tick by 7% as a trade off but if my job is being the best security dmg doesn’t mean much
I actually farmed the set at hard devour that boosts your damage when your health gets lower. Dropped my shields as low as low as possible in exchange for max heath. Its just so safe to damage even when your health is at 50% because the barrier eats so much damage. I wish there was a taunt skill so that my fellow squishy tm dont die every 20 seconds
@@DeadMansTale92 get walk a tightrope module and you'll get another 30% firearm atk when hp is at 50% also if u put on overwhelming hp it'll set ur shield to 1. I'm getting 30 million+ damage with ajax
I think ajax could use a rework on those two middle abilities. If you run the shock punch module, you can do both of those things on any descendant. Having technically three ground smashes...kinda redundant... missing out on some really cool "Void" ability ideas...

Good video. Personally i strive in the game. I am stuck with The Devoureur so i can´t proceed with the campaign. I tried at least 20 times to beat it in Public mode. Few times in private mode. I am very bad with all those mods. I´m on mastery level 11 using Bunny but also Ajax. I use mainly Tamer weapon and it is 79000+ DPS. Tried to put modules as in many videos against Devoureur but no luck. One weird thing is on Bunny that the 4 skills, one of them gets changed for me from casting a electric beam to some kind of electric punch even i has not changed it. I don´t even know how to change skills and where. I even bought for 30$ worth components so i got more module slots. I have started to think perhaps this game is not for me. I´m not a bad player though. Played Division 2 before 1000+ hours. So here i am, stuck with Devoureur when most people have played the campaign trough already. It sucks. I understand how this Boss is made so strong in the middle of the story. Don´t can even imagine how strong the next one will, and next. Not to mention the Hard mode Bosses.
I found that it was easier to level up my gun than my character. I might go down a couple times but I can account for 40-50% of the damage so the other 3 players only need to do around 50% damage. I’m currently at 420k damage on my tamer. Focus on leveling up your tamer and the mods on it and you’ll clear it easily.
@@1SuperD1 Thanks for info. Actually i succeeded beating it/him with 3 players with 40 level. So now i have managed to go on with the campaign. I have updated my Tamer always when possible. In the Crafting Station when i try to level it up it says " you have not a weapon " or something. If my Tamer is on level 53, do i have to a same level weapon or better before i can level it up?
@@ristorinne5817 yes your guess was right. You need a weapon close to the same level in order to upgrade. Also the stronger the weapon is the more damage it adds to your gun
I have 100+ hours in game now and I started with Ajax. I only have Bunny and Freyna but I do want to get all the Desendents eventually. I’m stuck on the second hard mode boss. What I can say what I have learned is farm what you need for now and future and then some more because your going to need more as you progress. Dismantle modules, upgrade your health, defense, and your weapon modules to make them stronger. Then just keep doing that till you can’t anymore. Redo the story with guns you do not really use because your mastery rank goes up when you level up all your weapons. You will have more space available as you get more stuff. Before you destroy a weapon strip it from all its modules. Hope this helps!
@@watchitall502 Hi, and thanks for advice. I and 3 co-player succeeded defeating the Devoureur. I have switched to Ajax also and have playing with it. Then i have leveling up my Tamer to 110k+. Having grinding Polymer void shards to get the final blueprint to the Divine Punishment. I don´t also pay attention to leveling the Decsendant so much, only the weapons. The next Boss fight is behind the corner. This will be interesting. ✌

I just have one question? Did you try Selective Recovery (MP) over Psychological Victory? I was just curious how the MP recovery Modifier works. They both say something completely different. One says Modifier other says MP Recovery?
I love ajax! but your tamer is pretty weak?! I have mine already at 500k+. Interesting that you play with the nazeistra's gun, I thought that one is not good, at least it felt like it. Thundercage for me is the best weapon, already got that one on 500k+ too. ;-) your ajax build is great, I still dont have the matrix module ;-(
Matrix Compulsion was bugged unless they fixed it. leading to teammates who took hits during the duration of its buff taking the damaged received all at once. Not sure if theyve fixed that but if they havent, then I wouldnt use Matrix Recomputation.
I've heard from others you might want to not have the max size bubble due to the boss or minions walking through it more easily. Still working on getting Ajax to see for myself though. (Since I'm max I'm more focused on Ult than base.)
Nice guide but honestly way less damage than my build and way less tanky plus using tamer is garbage. Its such a bait weapon with its DPS, enduring legacy is far superior.
@@StateOfShock Didnt claim it was best in slot, but it destroys pretty much all colossii outside last few Its not your only option You also dont see a ton since they are just soloing them until obstructor when you cant
@@Kaggy286 you can destroy bosses easily with mulitple different guns not just launchers, my point is that its actually more effective/easier to use launchers vs certain bosses, which is true, or else every gley and their mom would be using them non stop. my other point was that launchers are not "end game meta" which you actually also just proved, saying that you dont see many and also neither do i. so i really dont get where youre trying to go with this. anywho gn and goodluck with the grind my friend.
I dig it. It was nice just running full defense/hp mods to face tank everything with tons of forma slots. Late game it'll be nice to reduce the time I spend reviving people 😂
I’m convinced Ajax is a character for players who suck at games. Great survivability and absolutely no damage output even with full mods. He’s a carry in every single colossus fight.

Ok first of all mp is ass you need skill cost reduction you shouldn't run any mp mods because you don't need it another thing ajax is probably one of the most mobile characters in the game I clear a good chunk of the map with my grapple hook and void walk before you void walk jump first you travel farther and faster also matrix is alright but it's definitely not amazing body enhancement is incredible if you want to be a ultimate tank run body enhancement also if you don't know a good ajax can put his shield on a an bosses lasting attack like devours green poison spikes it dose a lot of dmg
That it's just wrong, bro you don't actually need MP mods I have a GODLY build with 104k DEF 22K Max HP and 3.4K Max Shield and Boss on Hard Mode make me tickle

When my shield breaks, I’m sitting at 20k HP with 160k defense it’s fucking nuts. Bosses dmg just tickles haha

Can I use overwhelming HP with An iron will and body Enhancement?
Ajax also has a pretty nice damage build using his Orbit shield damage reflection. Pretty nice dps when combined with your weapon damage.

You don't want a huge bubble fyi you want a med size bubble, when it's too big adds will get inside it alot easier.

I got a thundercage mounting reactor with tech and dimension boost THEN purple rolled tech and dimension boost. 24k skill power across the board

You guys making these builds never have any resistance mods equipped, such as Toxic, Electric and Fire? His barrier won't protect.
Remember: the larger you make your bubble, the easier it will be for enemies to walk inside of it with you.
I’m not happy hearing that end-game META is infinite launcher, totally breaks demand for skillful gun-play.
its really only good for 1-2 bosses, most bosses its not worth use launchers

How did you increase you're module capacity to 83. Mines at 74...
Upgrade your sword or fist sub attack. It increases module amount but doesn't take away module amount from equipping other things.
