on the echo you can shorten the tube up. you line up the little alignment pieces on the tube and you can make it shorter or longer. i personally have ran a 9010 the past two seasons for leaves and grass and it has been great. even break it out for sidewalks when we get powdery snow
Nice reviews I've watched both parts.. I personally have the Husqvarna 580bts Mark III which is essentially a RedMax since they bought them out. Love it
I just got a 9010T and HOLYYYY BLOWER, This thing is a monster! I was worried about spending 629 on it.... Not anymore, its worth it!
What backpack blower were you using before you got the 9010 that you're comparing the 9010 to? I've been using a stihl 450 but the 9010 is sounding good
@@reluctantblumpkin I have the PB-580. My buddy has a big stihl and he said the 9010 out does his. Unsure of his model number. The 9010 is very overkill but I’m more than pleased with it. A year later I would not trade it for another. You won’t be let down.
Thanks for the video. I love Stihl but I’ve been considering echo. Don’t need the little extra power echo has though because we just bought the scag windstorm. (Over the hurricane because of your videos). I still like the idea of echo though but right now I think it’s more of a comfortably thing. Side note, Stihl is better on gas than echo. Decisions decisions 😂 I would guess the Stihl does better in the rock test just because of the mph and smaller tube. Can’t wait for the next videos on these three! 👍🏻👊🏻
I think once you get into the leaves the echo will outshine the others. I run an 8010 and 9010 for cleanups and a br700 for maintenance. My br700 is 5 seasons old and I haven’t done a single thing to it. Still runs like brand new. I think redmax would be the same thing if I had gone with them at the time. I don’t get that bulletproof feeling from the echo and 800 Stihl.
I've ran a Stihl and I own a echo and love it. Would never change from my echo.
I use the red ax 7500 and it has been good for me. Thanks for all the info.
Teatro has tons of power but hands down we've always used still br800ds power and the comfortability

I love my redmax blower they are all great I have the BR 800 as well the side start is a bit finicky tho
Stihl has the best comfort!
I love my BR 600 Magnum. The 600 seems to have a more focussed air stream which brings the power to the point, so I can even Move gravel and rocks with it.
The 800 is really good for moving big piles of leaves etc. because more cfm than the 600.

Just picked up a Echo 9010 for leaf season this year. Love it over my RedMax 8550, for leaves. I am a RedMax guy, would love to see the comparison between 8550 and the 8560.
This is good to know as i am also a husqvarna/redmax guy and also only have ever ran a redmax 8550! Was thinking about upgrading to a echo 9010 for heavy wet leaves/fall cleanups someday.
the 60 isnt a huge difference compared to the 50

I own the echo, and i love the power, although the tube gets really heavy after like 2 - 3 hours of use
My sthil 800 has been to the shop twice under warranty once for the muffler cracking and falling off and now because it doesn't want to start after a few jobs. I've always ran sthil but after the 800 I'm thinking of jumping ship

From what I’ve been hearing from people who were at Equip expo is that Redmax is coming out with another bigger blower Spring of 24!
Ive only ever ran a Redmax 8550. Love it. But would like to upgrade to a redmax 8560 with trigger throttle for everyday use. Then buy an echo 9010 for raw power in use for fall cleanups doing heavy wet leaves as it seams to have a lot of hype for said purpose! My buddy has one and i may ask if i can borrow it for a quick demo.
In my area Stihl out sells all the other brands 3 to 1. 👍👍
I have the 9010 and 800c I love the 800c for maintenance and gutter cleaning 9010 is my stand on blower aka 😅I don’t have the budget for stand on blower plus I’m solo operator too I haven’t used the 8560 redmax the last redmax 8550 I used I didn’t see a big difference from redmax 7500 my go to is echo 9010 for clean ups and regular maintenance 800c that side chart comes in handy in subdivisions neighborhoods always come up asking for quote or questions in services

We run 1 8010, 2 9010's for fall leaf cleanups we never use those machines for daily mowing way to heavy and overkill. BR600 is our daily driver.. Good power and light compared to the BIG BOYS. Running a 9010 all day doing leaves will wear you out.

Any of these major brands including husqvarna you really cant go wrong though! Some stihls have hip pull start which potentially could be amazing!
I was about to ask about if Husqvarna made big blowers but Google said that they own Redmax now.
@@patrickramos4253 i run a Redmax ebz 8500 as my primary backpack leaf blower. Love it. When it gets old im going to replace it with a husqvarna 580bt or a redmax 8560.
The husqvarna 580 is the same as the redmax 8560 basically except orange. They are great. Both push around 1000 cfm and move a lot of leaves!
Stihl has the trigger adjustments on it
The redmax ebz 8560 was so loud that I had to cover my ears.
I recommend you guys to get a Stihl

red max and the echo is the way to go i would not use the br 800 for like what if people are sleeping in late

I like this demonstration but you should’ve demonstrated the Husqvarna 580 it stands up to all three of those and probably even better cause I just had a standoff with my neighbor I’ve got a 580 and my 580 beat that 800 still hands down

My comment is the red max is broken from the get-go. The dealership will fix it to the next time it goes south some strange reason I still like it still is a workhorse and it’s great for guys that don’t know how to start a Blower to start it I’d like to try the echo for fun.

How long do you use your blower? 1 season? 2 seasons? 3 seasons? I talk about a blower for every day use, not for 1 CZcams video a month…
Just like the video states we run our redmax blowers for 2 seasons then sell them and get new ones. They are used daily on the lawn route and when leaves come they are run sometimes 6 days a week. The echo and stihl are brand new to use so we gave our first impressions on them as we have not run them in the business to this point
How you do your mix? Regular, super, just gas no ethanol?

Sthils suck. Those mufflers constantly break. Light and comfortable but I’ll stick with echo and redmax. Going to get a new redmax next week.
Redmax or die. Stihl is only good for pole hedger and echo is good for whippers and handheld hedger. Redmax is pound for pound most boxes checked off the best blower you can get
