- Today, we're sharing the Redmax 9000 leaf blower and giving you guys a quick introduction and details on the unit. I believe this is the most powerful leaf blower on the market, pushing over 1245 CFM and 216+mph.
Weingartz of Farmington Hills MI, had a batch of these come in and gave us the opportunity to share with you guys, so big shoutout to them!
www.redmax.com/us/blowers/ebz...
Stats below:
56N
CFM: 1245
MPH: 216
Db: 81
Weight: 26.5 lbs
The big elephant in the room is the price point, which starts at $799. The previous model, the 8560s, is around $649, so almost a $150 price difference between models.

Thank you for the support! And as always, thank you for watching.
I instantly want one. And if you're on the fence about the $800 price tag just think, next year it'll be $900 and you'll be wishing you got it when it was cheaper
That thing is a UNIT. Thanks for sharing!
Picking mine up this week when they get in. Love redmax blowers
56 newtons is crazy. Love my 9010 but think it's time to upgrade. Always gotta have the best tools
Definitely an echo 9010 competitor, Love the content Brian stay cool out there!!
Look forward seeing the redmax vs the echo 9010 shoot out!
I knew you couldn't resist the temptation Brian! It was only a matter of time!! Lol
Brian will own one, looks like it will happen imo!
I love Redmax lol . We may get one come fall. I can’t justify $800 for blowing grass clippings though. Not unless a blower goes down, which I hope they don’t hahaha
Not sure whats going to happen first. That blower fall apart like the Echo 8010 and 9010 or the ban on gas powered blowers.@@BriansLawnMaintenance
Love it
Pricey, that will get em done.
Can’t wait for Stihls answer. More Cfm is great for our snow removal operations
Is there a left mounted tube option? At what point is the power too much? During leaf cleanups when you gotta use it in mulch/rock beds to get leaves won’t it be blowing mulch and rocks into the lawn at those power specs?
I don't think so at this time
SHEESHHHH! 9000 just got the 7500 and that thing is blowing yards away compared to my old 2004 Redmax blower i just replaced..couldnt inagine the 9000!
I was gonna buy the echo but ended up buying the Maruyama. Local dealer has hooked me up with all my handhelds. 5 year commercial warranty doesn’t hurt either. Red max looks like an awesome machine though.
Thats so awesome. I use a 8550! Do they make a husqvarna orange equivalent the way they make the 580 bts mark 2??
This thing looks like a monster. 800 is a bit pricey tho but that could be for the adjustable choke thingy. However it's a solid unit.
I have a 9010 so I'm good for a long time, based on how often I use it. Can't wait to see what echo and Stihl come out with to compete with it. Not a fan of auto tune, more places for failure. Got the standard carb failure points and now the electrical failure points. Less is more when it comes to that when reliability and productivity is on the line.
I’ve heard rumors that Stihl was gonna make a new backpack blower using the fuel injected tech from the MS500I chainsaw but haven’t seen anything yet
@@Born2doomhey is stihl coming with a new stihl br 1000 backpack blower this year and let me know when you find out
@@zackeryarnett9454 have no clue heard nothing but rumors from my dealer and the last Equipment Expo! But those were the details I was told for a sec I thought they were blowing smoke
Echo 9010 and a "long time" should never be used in the same sentence. 😂
I prefer the hip throttle over trigger throttle. Seems to lock at top speed better. $800 is pennies for the productivity that guy would get you over just one Season. And.... I could listen to those bad boyees purrrrr ALL day long!!! Stay Blessed Bud, Dirty Jersey out!!
Currently rocking Husqvarna 580 MKIII and I can't even imagine another 10+Newtons of force. Going to be interesting come fall time here in Michigan
Get what you pay for. Agree that if it saves time then its worth the money. Less issues starting and operating means less downtime too. Agree that price is a concern but it's economics and if you charge by knowing your money then it's game set match to the bottom line 😊
Want one!
Hey man did you buy the new Redmax ebz 9000 backpack blower
Which one you picking? Hip or handle throttle? I noticed hand throttles stretch and wear out quickly. Hip probably doesn’t stretch as fast.
Hip likely!
It’s worth the cost if it gets the job done faster. I went from a few ebz7500’s, which I thought was the best for the power and price, then I bought a 8560, worth every penny!
Must have just missed you, Went yesterday morning to pick one up!
How is it? And what did it replace?
I'm asking I kinda want one so it can replace a 8010 that I have. There is no problems with it but Echo 79cc takes while to get to top speed.
Let’s see that beast in action during fall clean up. 💯💪🏾
Soon!
Damn brain I’ve been waiting to get mine but my dealer still doesn’t have them in yet I’m trying to get the 9000 to have it with my 8560
Just bought a handheld echo so next time perhaps
Okay thanks
I got a Stihl Backpack Blower BR 800 CE and paid 700. The one you have is more powerful, mine pushes my right shoulder back at full throttle, do you get that from your RedMax?
Better use it more often to build up your muscles 😂
I’m sure Zachary Arnett is thrilled with this video!
lol ❤️📈
Nice blower, but I’d probably tip over trying to maneuver.😀
Hey Brian how long can this blower run for on a full tank?
Not sure but maybe 2-4 hours of heavy use doing cleanups.
Can you do a full equipment tour mowers, blowers weed whackers
Wow that has auto tune? Thats great! Itll be able to run at its best all year. I haven't ever had any issues with redmax, stihl is off the list for me. Their carbs are awful on most products and trimmers just cannot take the punishment. I have a pile of stihls that sit around.
I have a sthil br 600 nearing 14yrs old. Well maintained of course with no problems. Trimmers do great also. Sthil bgr - hand held blower flawless chainsaws as well also. I have always hated sthil in the past because of echo and husqvarna being so good. Got involved with sthil and impressed. Thought I never would become a sthil fan. Lol. All brands have certain models that I avoid.
I have all Stihl products and have yet to switch brands but I can admit Stihl carbs are horrible
Carbs, ? Just buy a replacement
@@kennyplay5982 Or just buy a different machine that runs better lol
That sounds like the pb 9010t. The new most powerful leaf blower that beat out the pb 9010t
Sounds great! Probably a little quieter than the PB-9010. $800? What’s the fuel burn? I have a not year old PB-770T. The 9010 is great. But, it’s a bit too much to wag around all day. Plus it’s fair on fuel. Way better than the 9010. How does this compare to Stihls biggest blower? The Stihl 2cycle blower’s are the best. The 4mix versions I am not sure. They don’t sound like they have the punch.
Stihl blowers a nice but they don’t come close to the power of the 9010.
Stihl is MUCH quieter
@@kennyplay5982 you should be wearing ear protection with any backpack blower. Sound is not my main concern with when it comes to productivity.
The miles per hour really needed speeds around 230 mph. The miles per hour is a advantage on wet leaves is what a dealer told me. I have seen people ( pros. Saying 1250 cfm in the housing and 250 mph ou the tube. Just curious?
The Redmax site says 1250 cfm in the tube. What is the cfm at the nozzle?
@bearclaw5115 I am aware of blowing the leaves when they are dry. It's not like I'm blowing wet leaves all the time by all means because I burn the things when they are gathered into piles. Also, there is no guarantee you will have the weather for dry leaves all the time. I was talking with a highly respected dealer about the specs on some blowers and sure was not pressed by the dealer on purchasing a blower. The bottom line is I avoid wet leaves as possible. The pros on you tube address these situations about wet leave encounters.
Bahaha. You just couldn't resist, could you?
I’m a sucker for a good leaf blower and especially one from Redmax. Ha!
@@BriansLawnMaintenance would you say they're better than the big Echos? That's what we got.
Increased power and auto carb, $800 bucks isn't uncalled for. It's not a huge leap in cost, and the advantages are worth it. The only thing to keep an eye on is longevity, and warranty problems. If Echo doesn't have a suitable answer this fall, I'm definitely picking one up for leaf season.....probably 😅
wow. pricey but def looks nice
I saw somone using this blower he blew debris accross the street to my property I was working on . I just blew it back to his side with my 7500. Its only a bit lighter than the 9010 . I rather let my walker do the leaf clean ups in the fall. I dobgive redmax credit though
i paid 800 for my 8010t and its been great going on 4 years with it no problems :)
Yikes
😂 I’m definitely going to be a troll 🧌 definitely sounds like an echo blower
Seems quieter than the echo 9010 on you tube.
For your type of business, it would be worth its price in gold.
For cleanups especially ❤️
8560s are 700? extra $100 for extra 20-25% cfm?
If it sells well unfortunately new wave of blowers from competitors are going cost same
I’ll still with my echo that adjustable carb looks like a expensive repair $650 vs $800 not sure that was best business price
The Stihl 800 and Ecco 9010 are both about to break $1000 before tax in Canada.
Would love to hear your thoughts on it once you use it for a few weeks. You run the next step down and your initial reaction being “wow” is pretty telling for how powerful it must be. Do you ever think push start leaf blowers will be a thing? For $800+ I’m surprised it is still a pull start.
You'd need a battery to power a starter, and make it heavier, more unreliable, and more expensive.
Why would you want a left handed switch that doesn’t make sense to me
All day cruise control and doesn’t fatigue your trigger finger in a right hand trigger setup.
Why is the throttle not on the handle
Hip throttle vs tube throttle.
What’s the weight?
I think 26 ish, it’s in the description ❤️
I’d go buy an 8560 if they made one with auto tune
If you’ve got the use for it go get it because it’s not getting cheaper
Its awesome and everything.. but yeah can't justify $800 for a leaf blower.. Lol will be sticking with the 7500 8550/8560s for a long time.
Seems like they've decreased the decibal level by alot, 81DB compared to the 8560 which is 115DB
I don't think the 8560 is 115. If it is no one would even buy it, that is way too high. And I'm pretty sure they are 79DB.
81 db?? Loud
You know redmax is owned and made husqvarna.
That is why redmax is a good product.
i feel like as an average landscaper that price is not worth it from a small buisness standpoint.. now some of the bigger companys that are generating millions of dollars a year the price is nothing to them and this upgrade isnt necessary but mandatory. also the more tech that finds its way into our equipments just be prepared for tech issues as well as the physical wear and tear.
Didn't you say not going to get it
I didn’t get it. We demo’ed it at our dealer. I’m not dropping $800 on a blower right now 😀
Have used Red Max blowers for years , Will Not be paying that price , will switch to something else
Shut up and take my money!!!
Almost a grand for a leaf blower? I feel like that isn’t worth it but I’d have to try it before I make up my mind I guess.
@@bearclaw5115 i said almost but after taxes and everything, you’re probably at about $900 so I was just rounding up
Redmax?
Yes.
Not worth it
Not for $800 hell no! My 9010 has enough power
Why?
@@JK-qe6qq Mostly price
@@Born2doom hey I keep on hearing that echo is coming out with a new more powerful gas backpack blower that is coming out during the fall of this year
Price is a big NO WAY ! not sure were your viewers are from but i can buy a stihl 800 , redmax 8560 or echo any day for at least $100 less than viewers are saying they paid , got to shop around !
First :)
That price is not it
Nope
800$ 😮👎🏻
Not worth it at all gas leaf blowers are being band in many cities there already hitting Florida so it will be a waste of money to buy one now.
too much
Crazy how this guy never really works.
All we do is literally work. Watch our Instagram stories, we story what we do literally 24/7. We don’t work but yet you’re here wasting your time on CZcams. Brilliant.
Electronic carb? Yikes the husq autotune saws are bad enough, and they used the same pry tabs for the air filter covers that husqvarna has been using for many years that always end up snapping, and ditching the solid reliable 2x knob screws for the worse design. Not to mention the brand is called redmax so why is the thing mostly black, with only some red touches. The obsession with blacking everything out these days is ridiculous
$800 for a backpack leaf blower is a lot. $200+ for an auto tune carb is even worse! Carbs will need to be replaced with all of the bad gas issues across the country. Hard pass!
Overhyped.
