I caught COVID at a facility I worked as a medication aid and I haven’t worked as a medication aide for 2 months. I’m back at it now because I am now with a agency and I get paid more. I love your channel love!🤗
Is medication aid same as med tech?
Are their specific agencies that deal with medication aides?
I work at a Facility as a Caregiver . In April I’m going to take classes to get my CMA . I can’t wait to be a CMA (speaking into existence) 🥰

I been a CNA for 20 years, where I work now im training to be a med tech, of course only for that job, if I had to go else where I need to get certified..but at least I’m learning and they also give us free courses…🙂
Elite medical online is where I went 6hr course

Did you Medication Aide course for Adult Care or Nursing Homes? Here at my local community college we have the medication aide courses for 2 weeks. I will be taking my CNA course that start on 9/05 and I’m thinking about taking the medication aide that start on 9/11 and it ends on 9/20.
I’m also in nursing school but I was considering take the Medication Aide course. It’s a short course here in my area & relatively inexpensive.
How do you like it?

It seems like you’re working in a SNF or LTC kind of facility. What is the dynamic between you and the LPNS/LVNS as a medication aide?

She mentioned in the middle somewhere that she is authorized to check glucose readings but she does not chart them, the nurse does. Hope this helped 🙏❤️

I'm thinking about going to school for what you doing do you have to become a Cna or Nursing aide assistance before coming a Medication Technician? What Good books & dvds to look up for Medication Technician?
Since she didn’t answer your question,yes you do have to become a CNA or HOme health aide before becoming a CMA
It depends on the state you live. In some states you are required to be a CNA first. In South Carolina you can just become a med tech without becoming a CNA.
In new jersey as a med tech we can put in the blood sugars in The EMR. What state are you from?
