    Neil,
    I think that a blogger should not serve any type of ads on the starting area of the post, As many of us saw that a movie or any type of T.V show don't serve ads on the starting, they serve ads in the middle time and that's what creates a user engagement.
    Like if a blogger serves the google ads on the whole area of a post, It won't worth it for the advertiser, also for a visitor, Because it won't create an impact on the visitor.
    So, according to me, the blogger should serve small size ads (not banner ads) in the middle area of the post and that's won't affect the user engagement because the user is coming to see your content, not first an advertisement and most of the bloggers doing the same mistake, they serve ads on the starting to increase their Google Adsense balance.
    What's your opinion regarding this?
    Loving your content😊

    Great value again Neil!! When having a page that ranks well and you're adding more long term keyword content; at what point do you make a separate blog page for the long tail keywords? My reasoning is maybe many readers may not read through 10,000 words before reaching something specific (and risk them bouncing fast because think its clickbait).

    • @neilpatel
      @neilpatel  Před 5 lety

      Typically a 10,000-word article wouldn't be clickbait. If you have a long-tail keyword that is strong enough to stand alone as a long-form article then go for it. Don't just expand the first one as much as possible for the sake of word count.

      You can leave the URL the same as before. That doesn't need to change, Stefanie. Best to add unique content.

    Hello Neil Patel,
    My post was top in google last 3 month but I saw there are some few blogs who did update their content & they are ranking very well than me.
    I did also updated my content but google doesn't show me - my post has been updated like (4 days ago) but it shows old date like (Nov 16, 2016).
    Can you recommend which plugin should I use so that search engine shows the updated days
    Thanks
    Rashed

      It takes time. It isn't something that a plugin will speed up. One thing that can help is fetching as Google in Search Console.

    Thank you. What I've been wondering is if you 301 redirect the dead pages after you delete them? Because I think I did delete some pages and then I got some errors in GWTools and then I didn't know if these were bad so I did redirect some, but then my htaccess file starts getting bloated.

    • @neilpatel
      @neilpatel  Před 4 lety

      You could either redirect to your homepage or another relevant page, or you could create a 410 HTTP header

      No need to learn how to code
      if you have the money and want a custom website, hire someone to code a website for you
      however if you dont care about that, just go with what works best. Wix or wordpress

    Hey Neil, thanks for your insights.
    I currently have a 22,000-word blog post (with 12 chapters). Do you think I should keep it as one post (so all the value is packed in one place), or separate it into multiple posts (like your CRO guide on Quick Sprout)? Love to hear your feedback.Thanks again!

    • @neilpatel
      @neilpatel  Před 5 lety +1

      I think having it as one page on your site could work well. Typically with chapter posts the dropout is significant beyond the first few chapters

    Went to Ubersuggest as suggested in the video here, and I noticed, for example, that it says "Organic Keywords - 4785 - BAD." Why is it bad? I kind of feel like it's good! But not sure I know what exactly BAD means in these boxes. I guess BAD compared to large markets, but since mine is very niche, I feel it's good. Is the BAD subjective?

    • @neilpatel
      @neilpatel  Před 5 lety

      It pulls all of the different keywords, both short and long-tail, so the pool is really big. There might be thousands and thousands that you are missing even if they don't seem as relevant. Don't be discouraged though. If you are getting solid traffic from those keywords then you should be happy. Just keep growing it out ;)

    Hai Neil!! I was handling one whole website from the past 3 months onwards. Suddenly google analytics result will down and that result will directly be effected on ranking on google(ranking also down). In SEO we are facing a lot of issues while doing everyday work? How to recover the ranking again & how many days it will take to recover the ranking again?

    • @neilpatel
      @neilpatel  Před 4 lety

      First off, I would do a free site audit in Ubersuggest to see where some issues might lie.
      Second, you need to do some research about algorithm updates that may have affected your rank.
