    Hi!, I think that at some point in the video I heard the change but after a little bit of accelerating, the change is still very soon on, let's see if you adjust it so that it is better noticed in another video.
    It has been fun to see it run in 2WD because of that loss of the part you mention, easily restorable.
    You have a new subscriber here, I see you're from Europe it seems? I am from Spain.
    Greetings and Nitro Power!

      Yes, it is pretty hard to tell when it's shifting sometimes. The shift in the Savage is very smooth. I will just need to be patient to get everything running as I want. I'm sure it will be worth it in the end.
      I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the video. Yes, I'm European. I'm from Sweden.

    There seems to be trouble for everyone with the 2 speed. Crap screws does not help.

      Cheese steel screws bother me a lot more than the 2-speed. But I'm confident I sort it out 🙂

    Unless you’re shifting immediately or the tangs on your gear selector are locked on to the second gear you must be in first

    It’s a really good idea to swap out screws as you go very smart👍 the screws and some of the rest of the parts are made of stupid material 👍

    • @electricnitrorc
      @electricnitrorc  Před měsícem

      I think that's the only reasonable thing to do. Those screws gonna give me too much headache if not replaced. I'm not sure if I will find quality screws in all sizes. Do you have any tips ?

    What I do when I'm setting shift points is pull the throttle very slowly that way I know for sure when it shifts if you just go full throttle it's hard to hear/feel the shift. How if it's shifting super early you want to turn clockwise (lean) (tighten) the shift point /grub screw

      @@Nitro_rc_life Good advice to be gentle on the throttle when setting the shift point. It can be hard to hear and feel the gear change because it's so smooth. Thanks for your help 👍

    9:47 very lean low needle you can hear it chatter

  • @s.o.sSavage
    @s.o.sSavage Před měsícem +1

    The adjustment once you have it shifting is very small either way it’s very easy to over adjust and lose the shift

    • @electricnitrorc
      @electricnitrorc  Před měsícem

      I have noticed that it's very sensitive 🙂

      @@s.o.sSavage I agree with Joey very small adjustments just like the needles

    Front Diff gone? Or maybe the dogbones are locking up the drive cups in the front my XL does this I’ve just got cvd’s to stop this it’s easy for the o rings to fall out in the drive cups and this then allows to much movement especially if you upgrade diffs👍 😂 l just read the last part of the video just the grub screw 😂 what I wrote still stands though something to watch for👍

      Seeing that just a grub screw was missing made me happy 😂 thanks for your support, appreciated 🙏

    Another thing I'm seeing you do when you tune is your turning the needle a quarter turn or more or less each time you need to start making smaller adjustments and giving atleast 30 seconds in between adjustments all of my force/hpi engines hit 300* at the end of tank on 30% this is very normal be more patient during your tune tank. It typically take me a full tank to just tune then I'll adjust shift points then I bash and play

    • @electricnitrorc
      @electricnitrorc  Před měsícem +1

      I do anything between 1/4 to 1/16 turns when tuning. Didn't know it's normal hitting 300°F. Do you fill the tank full when refueling? The leaning during mid tank is brutal.

      @electricnitrorc also I live at high elevation 5500' above sea level not sure if that's why my engines always hit 300 even with a rich tune
