@@estebanb7166 and @Lares Deces, I was going to write something snarky and defensive, but it turns out you're right: When I listened through headphones, I could hear the bass quite well. I now realize that all the other Khruangbin videos I'd watched were played through my computer's tiny, tinny speaker. It simply couldn't reproduce the bass sounds.
Mark Speer puts Jimi Hendrix in the shade... I keep coming back to this video again and again....Bin Bin and The Infamous Bill being played so tight...dayum !
She learned bass by listening to Roots Radics. Reggae. She is one amazing bass player. Key changes all over the place. Stops like reggae. So imaginative a group.
I honestly love this band. And I think their sound here wasn’t where it needed to be to attract new fans who hadn’t heard of them. This song is all about mark Speer communicating what the whole band is saying to us, and the tweak on the guitar just didn’t sound right. For me cool. But to attract a newbie? The sound the have is so easy to love. Why tweak it? Granted, I’m high as fuck
I guess I’m not sophisticated enough to understand the appeal of this music. It sounds like some kids walked in to their dads garage and plugged into his gear fir the first time. I can pretty much guarantee you that this drummer will attempt to harm himself one day after playing the same beat for nine hours straight. Silly.
I'm obsessed with this band. Damn, they are good.
I'd never thought I'd love an instrumental band, as much as I Love Khruangbin.
Should check out "Lettuce". another phenomenal instrumental band
No matter what clip I watch this drummer is a metronome.
A drummer who plays a 4/4 in time impresses you?
@@newjawn9004 I understand what Alex is saying.
Because he has a click track on his in-ear monitor.
I’m pretty sure he’s a man.
LAURA LEE!!!!
the 1 movement girl
Naughty Cyrille and boy does she make the 1 movement count
@@ChrisDutch lol absolutely
The Beat Layer, the Hip Swayer and the Guitar player!

Love-flying air khruangbin they always take me on a cosmic ride
I don’t think I’ve ever heard a song I didn’t like. These guys are awesome.
Can't get enough of these guys! If I could see them live I think I would die happy
This Band is Fire!!!! If you don't know.......now you know!
that smooth transition of how they opening their set 👀👀
The best jam I've heard in my 58 years. Jam and to the point w. a exotic pop feel. The other Jam bands could learn from them.
Haven’t heard a band like this in the longest time
Big Daddy Roth would have loved their music.....oh man, The Beatnik Bandit just rolled by ....wtf ?
I'm positive The Commodores had Laura Lee in mind when they wrote "Brick House".
Maybe in her older videos, here she's very slim.
@@ricomon35 agree, not as thick,
Out of the 10 or 20 Khruangbin videos I've seen, this is the first one in which I can actually hear the bass.
Stop listening on cellphone speakers

@@JBH123 Yea, it’s pretty wild how much audio varies from one sound source to the next. Mixing for cellphones is a nightmare haha.
wow they captured all the wild passionate riffs of 69's70's 😎 👍 👌 ✌️
Always INCREDIBLE!
The drummer is on a level
AMEN
*first thing in the morning...
Reach for my phone and play Khruangbin

I love you and your music.
Oh my God how can you not like this?🤔
Fabulous ♥️🎉
That applause at the end was not adequate for the groovyness of this jam.
She learned bass by listening to Roots Radics. Reggae. She is one amazing bass player. Key changes all over the place. Stops like reggae. So imaginative a group.
Love how Those hips just rock
The band from Houston, cool jam.
Funky ;),
thank´s for sharing

I LOVE LAURA LEE TOO♥️
Join the queue, mate ❤️🔥😍
Tarantino should add Mark to one of his movies as a mini villain or something
and even the music fits
All of them
They might not cited but I know damn well by the instrumentation that first song was inspired by Curtis Mayfield Superfly
Excellent.

Dang! I need to know what Mark was playing after they did the glass bottles bit
Think that's a guitar..
The song before and after the glass bottles is called Infamous Bill
3:25
I think this is probably the only band that can pull off a bell solo.
whats the first track? big vibe
Sounds like it's just a band intro track they wrote.
jmc it’s called Bin Bin. It was a hidden track on The Universe Smiles Upon You vinyl.
@@bammer9 thank you!
Guitar player sure has a package deal up under there

LL on bass guitar. sure has
We're (apparently) having this "experience" thus
khruangbin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what's the opening song called? damn the funk is real with them.
"Bin Bin"
They were on a cruise?!
DJ really fucked that Infamous Bill...

Mark Speer is the best guitarist I've heard and Laura Lee the best everything else..
Lawd she is so fine

Infamous Bill
I wish the drummer also had the same hairdo
Anyone know the name of the song that drops at 1:47?
Even the announcer wears a wig...
Wow, her bass implant job looks great
They have been playing since 2011...just in case you were 10 years old...
A very "wise" band
Where can I find these songs in their albums?
the first song is called Bin Bin but it’s only available on vinyl as a secret track for their album The universe smiles upon you
