@kaz, Folks that don't value their time use the excuse of a job (which doesn't value their time) for why they sell their precious hours for themselves to the lowest bidder and don't get a higher paying job instead. It's the age old fear response to the challenge of capitalism. Try fighting that instead of misguidedly focusing your energy on an assumptive comment when you are, if I may assume, actually just insecure about asking for help. My suggestion is to ask yourself how much money you would pay to have your time back and then don't accept less. If that's unrealistic for you right now then ask how much time you need back to make your low pay worth it. Then adjust your living standards to that, if that puts you at risk of being on the street, congrats you are one step closer to realizing your energy and time are being hacked by folks that want to use your avoidance of fear to rob you of your fight.
I think they mean most biological women do not have time for such a glam fest every morning. A real woman's life is hard, exhausting, and filled with messy looks and no make up most days. So in turn you aren't really living the life of a woman, more so a certain version of a woman that isn't really a big part of womanhood. Just to clarify for you.
