wow... if your a fan of Buck and Don, i most highly recommend the book "Buck 'em" it's Buck's auto biography basically... taken from tapes he'd made before he passed away. One of the most entertaining books I have ever read. Truly an amazing life and an amazing couple of guys, Don and Buck. they live on in their recordings, thank God.
Thank you for the knowledge there! I had no clue and you can bet your bottom dollar that I'm going to buy it and read it word for word.... I'm 25 now but these guys have been idols to me all through my childhood... Along with George Jones and many others! Grew up in Detroit Michigan and knew NOBODY else in my state that grew up watching Hee Haw and listening to country music...(Again, I'm from EastSide Detroit)
@@jeffclark7888 Not very far! I was at 8 Mile & John R.... So I was just down the road from his hometown; That's awesome! Hopefully he's still with us! If so, ask him about "Brayz" in Hazel park at 9 Mile & Dequindre (Dee-Quin-der).... I'm sure he'll have something to say.... Delicious!! Perfect 24/7 Location and the "Belly Busters" are off the charts!
Buck was never the same after Don passed away
He stated before he passed that his music career effectively ended when Don Rich died.
They need to induct don rich in the country hall of fame
Yes.
Don should have been hall of fame years ago. I wish that singers get recognized long before they pass.
You mean to tell me he's not in it already?!
@@ModGirl-nu1xk Correct. Absurd.
@@jeffclark7888seriously!
There's a genuine sadness in Mr. Buck Owens eyes, he surely misses Don Rich.
The sadness in his eyes...😔
Bittersweet moment
15 years as friends creating massive hits is tough to say goodbye to. Bucks sadness is real.
Bass player can hold his own on vocal!!
That's what I thought! He's doing a credible Don Rich impersonation, and that ain't no small thing.
Bass dude is handling it .... need credit!
Don's passing killed Buck before his time.
Buck lived a long, prosperous life. But no doubt, losing Don broke his heart.
I for one miss the old C&W music..

@@8MileRepo My father died December 28, 1991, but he was proud to hail from Highland Park, Michigan.
My grandpa was at Don's crash site he told me it was one of the worst motorcycle crash he he ever seen
How sad.
Sad.
Thank you for this.
linda homenagem.. dois grandes caras.. triste que um dia todos vão embora assim, mas é uma realidade ..don foi embora muito cedo
There's no way this was right after Don died
Wish they would've shown the guitarist playing Don's parts in each of the songs. No small feat, and the faceless guitarist did it well.
Great tribute.... who's doing the harmony here (and playing bass, as well)?
Doyle Kurtsinger
Curtsinger.
All gone now except Willy Cantu :(
Who is lady fiddle player?
I'd like to know too!!
