Music video by George Harrison performing Brainwashed. (C) 2002 Umlaut Corporation - Hudba
The world is a poorer place without George.
You know it's George Harrison when there's a gnome playing a tuba.
Lol indeed :))
Isn't this copied frontier devil and the deep blue sea music video
It's the devil of the deep blue notes.
I literally lol'd!!!
😂😂😂😂😂
"I think he wanted to be known as a great musician...and a gardener" hahah
Definite is a great line. I lol'd.
Spin around (like a whirling dervish) clockwise(yang northern hemisphere/yin southern hemisphere) or counterclockwise (yin northern hemisphere/yang southern hemisphere) (torus spinning). Chant any of these mantras 3 times each while facing east, west, north(in the southern hemisphere) or south(in the northernhemisphere): "ieouams", "a-u-m", and "om". Sleep with your head placed east, west, north(in the southern hemisphere) or south(in the northern hemisphere). Perform the 5 Tibetan rites. Play music at 528 hz.
Most important for George is within ~🕉 Hare Krishna 🕉~ everything else was in the material world.
maybe 2 gardeners...
What's not to Like about that❔
Dhani - “Im not expecting his music to change your life”
Well it changed mine
when George says to himself when he goes out into the outside world "What the hell am I doing here?" - many of us can relate
but also many of us do nothing about it
@@monoretefm6052 Do you take care of your Garden? Then you are doing something. xo
I feel the same...
This comment aged well with covid
So true! ☮🕉❤
"I think he wanted to be remembered as ... as a great musician ... and a gardener." Great quote.
I thought so too. Gotta get this album now.
True tho...maybe more as a gardener
A friend. A guitar player. A Beatle. A legend.
And don't forget, A gardener.
Brainwashed is one of George's best - went out on a high note, bless him.
I liked it too, but some of the words are so sad. I think George knew he was dying.
@@gillianbrookwell1678 Most if not all of the songs on the album were written before he got sick, actually.
A very poignant one - there are some parallels with Bowie’s last album - they knew that their days were numbered, and some of the songs touch on the last great human taboo - mortality. I’m glad that Jeff Lynne and Dhani finished the project off for us........
@@gillianbrookwell1678 Yes, he died of cancer. His wife said when his soul left his body, he lit up the room. Peace.
The more I listen to Brainwashed, the more I like it. These songs deserved more radio airplay when the album was released.
His son is the spitting image of George in the 1960s
He's stunning!!!
You mean “spitting” image. :)
@@davidtrindle6473 lol i look back at this an i see how many likes it has and wow
@@rosemary_rose0 i accidentally replied on my new account :|
Yeah 😂😂
Brainwashed - the song and album are more impactful and more prophetic that ever. George left this message for us who remain: what is more important and what is less important in life.
I mean no disrespect to the other Beatles, but George Harrison is my fave of them all.
I was ones asked who I like best of John Lennon and Paul McCartney.
I replied George Harrison.
George is the best hands down.
@@aronbarkley1119 you betcha baby
Geirge was unhappy with the 2 guys thats why he left let it be session for 4 weeks
Here here . He didn't have anything to prove . Lennon was a loud mouth. Having met Ringo star arrogant always comes to mind don't have have much to say about Paul apart he was better with wings .
Just acoustic guitars, played by people, into microphones, onto tape. Great recipe, if George is there!
Isn’t a pity that George left us so early. Where ever you are George may the good lord bless you
George will be in his garden of Eden. Wherever that is, I'd like to go there too, one day. RIP George. Gone but not forgotten.
He started off amazingly with 'All Things Must Pass' in 1970, exploded back on the scene with 'Cloud Nine' in 1987, and left us with the beautiful parting gift of 'Brainwashed' in 2002!
Not only do I cherish his music, I also cherish his heart, his wisdom and his passion and commitment to Peace!
Agree dude…for me it’s Tom Petty and George Harrison….world will never have such authentic, honest, great men in rock n roll ever again…when I get to heaven, God willing, I’m sitting down with Tom and George, and playing acoustic guitar…with Jesus on bass…Neil Peart on the skins
Don't forget "Dark Horse".
A guess it’s only polite to send you a hug and a kiss from an old Fab Four fan..
Did George ever work with Sir Tommy Steele ?
@@tylerthompson1842 Amen! And also don't forget Gone Troppo, 33 & 1/3, and...
I could listen to George talk about the subject of life for weeks.
George Harrison was on the wrong planet
I will not believe George was a human
He was too pure
That smile at the end...melts me up.
He just forgot that he got stabbed had a brain tumor and had lung cancer and throat cancer
@@sean6992 yeah that's better to forget
He was a beautiful man inside and out..rest in peace
Just great to see the last shot in this video of George Harrison SMILING ~ The way I always want to remember him ~ RIP
The last photo of George Harrison was also just disturbing
He was brilliant, he was kind and he was funny.
The youngest Beatle was prolific.
Definitely had the best solo career of the 4 Beatles 👍
O George Harrison we miss you Soo Much 😭.R.I.P GEORGE HARRISON
That album, "Brainwashed" is actually one of his best collection of songs ever. I treasure it since the day it came out.
george was very easy to love
I'll be listening to Brainwashed on vinyl for the first time today. Every day is George Harrison day.
"I think he wanted to be known as a great musician and a gardener" sounds like something that George would say hahaha. I think Jeff Lynne made a funny.
My fauvourite Beatle from I was 5-years old!!
In my eyes George Harrison was somewhat a troubled soul who was always searching for answers to life, it’s purpose and meaning. In sharing his life experiences and life challenges so openly he had the gift of opening ones own consciousness to think more deeply. Despite his shortcomings (meaning he was no saint and never pretended to be one) and for the reason given , I have always looked at George as a superstar to hold up as somewhat worthy life mentor. His graciousness in sharing his deepest personal thoughts has benefited me immensely in constantly challenging me to look at how my life journey is panning as well as posing the question as to where am I headed. George Harrison God bless. You have touched so many people in such a positive way and this makes you a real superstar.
Honestly he’s the only famous person worth idolizing or having as a role model
Yes. I agree. Even if one doesn’t share many of his beliefs, you have to respect him for his profound honesty. His music is full of honesty. His slide guitar is pure emotion that brings tears to my eyes. I love him.
Beautiful. ❣️🙏❣️
@Paul Leslie, a most wonderful comment.
He is my favorite. I miss him.
I love how dhani worked on George's music and all the musicians were ok with it .
Why wouldn't they be?
what does this comment even mean? who else should have worked on his music? his son was also talented and helped out, it was close friends that finished the work because they knew George
George Harrison was a beautiful man inside and outside ❤️
I remember being 12 years old standing on a chair in the front row at the Cow Palace looking straight into George's eyes. I saw the sadness of the situation of seeing young girls being handed over head to the ambulances because they had passed out from screaming so much. Well I wasn't hearing much of the Beatles even standing on the first chair of the front row. But I knew George didn't like it either. The girls were screaming so loudly nobody could hear the Beatles. Still it was great to actually see them. And to stare into George's eyes and wonder if he was pissed off too at the screaming mess.
I always loved George's playing and singing. He lit up the people who knew how to listen. I have changed for the better because of George. I was amazed with All Things Must Pass. And that made life greater. I won't forget.
Still hard to believe that he and John are both gone. 17 years for George. 38 years for John. Only two Beatles left. Sad, but this is life. No one gets off this rock alive.
It's sickening and disgusting.. What's the F point. It's mostly suffering and sadness. Helps if your rich but not even that much. I no I'm rich even have a couple decent people. But EVERYDAY u just get a little worse no matter what u do. People can say what they want but this is 100% true. FUCK YOU time.......
Just leave your mark in a positive way

" GEORGE HAD A BEAUTIFUL HEARTBEAT "SO TRUE🕺🎸❤
George’s music was beautiful. I loved number 7 Stuck In A Cloud. I have the CD and it is wonderful. George was my first love. I fell for him when I was 12. I am 68 now so I still love him. He was always very handsome. He had amazing hair. Anyway he also had one of the most beautiful gardens I have ever seen. I would love to see it in person. Rest In Peace, Gorgeous George. I will never forget you. ❤️🌹❤️
His( and the boys) music will be re- discovered in 10 years and these milenials on charge will go...."Holy cats- this stuff is great" !
I love his Brainwashed album so much, and I think it meant a lot to Jeff and Dhani to help to finish George’s work. All his music came straight from his heart and it will live on forever💜💜💜💜
God bless George and John . I miss them but I guess they are still here .
george had the best singing voice of all the beatles
This is literally making me cry. 💔
Sam Garcia me too
Same for me
He seemed to be the best neighbor anyone would be happy to have. Wish i could help him in his garden.
It's not making me cry but like.... The man was suffering 😷
George Harrison! Enough said!
Whether you like his music or not, George is a beautiful dude.
George definitely changed my life and started me seeking out answers to those eternal questions. Brainwashed sees George communicating his own search and realisations.
We miss you George. 😭💔
Was blown away by Brainwashed 😎👍
😎👍❤🖖
Love brother
George, Jeff and Dhanni 3 great souls.
29 people dislike hearing about a piece of this man’s soul. I pity them for missing the point. He is missed.

the idiots who "dislike" this are just idiots who, instead of going to the videos / music they like, or whatever they like, come here to call the attention with their stupid useless vote. The best thing is to ignore them.
George has the power to go from looking really old to young again
His deep in his life, craft and spirituality. A simple yet immense observer of people, things and nature.
His son is adorable.
Jeff Lynne has such a great soul, no wonder why he was a great friend of George. Jeff is a music Genius and a fantastic producer. George and Jeff you can't ask for a better combination. So glad they work on several music projects together.
For Dahni, as a father and as a son of a man who loved me immeasurably, I love my own son more than I can say. One can try to teach but all that one can really do is nurture. And when you realize that that is what you must do, the pride that you feel is immeasurable.
George was always urging us to look into our lives and hearts so we can find a positive direction to follow in life. My sweet Lord is a good one. God is Love. Namaste.
George you are awesome
George is and always has been my idol of the Beatles. That's saying something as I simply adored the other three.
"Clothears"--💗💗💗
I love you George. We all do. We miss you so much, yet we smile knowing what a wonderful life you lived, and the beautiful music you made.
How can you not love this man... I really think that this is one of the best albums ever made in the history of music. So touching and intimate. Timeless.
Brainwashed is Harrison's 2nd best studion album behind All Things Must Pass. It's amazing.
My dad RIP always said!"IF YOUR TALKING YOUR NOT LEARNING "
Just a great "look back" on George! I remember back in the day when The Beatles "broke" on the world stage. Suddenly, there was this exciting new "force" in the world. It was electric. And it was positive and hopeful. And George was a big part of that. Forever missed!
All George's songs are imbued with a higher vibration.
Jeff Lynne and George Harrison worked on some great successful projects together. Two friends with great souls.
It changed mine, Dhani. Thank you, and Jeff, for finishing this and releasing it. Absolutely beautiful!!
So many reasons Why George Harrison connected so well with Jeff...Some facts about Jeff Lynne (ELO)...First, he is a very humble man, simply because this Music Genius is not interested in fame, the limelight, and money, he just loves to create great music. Jeff Lynne is one of the most versatile musicians ever, this is why he is considered by his peers to be among the greatest. He didn't stick to one style of music because, after decades, it gets boring. Jeff has done progressive Rock, Symphonic Rock - Pop, New wave, and Disco. Everything he does turns to gold. He even flirted with Country music. From 1972 to 1986 (During 14 years) Jeff Lynne's Electric Light Orchestra has had more top 40 hits than any other group in the world.... @t 51 years later they still play in sold-out Arenas, festivals and Stadiums. During Jeff Lynne's ELO 2019 Tour, many reviews agreed in saying they are the best live Classic Rock Band in the world still touring and Jeff Lynne is a Music Genius( From Forbes Magazine and the Washington Post). ELO is in the Rock Hall of Fame. Lynne is on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame and Birmingham Walk OF Fame. Jeff Lynne’s ELO won the Best Classic Rock Band plus Lynne won the best Songwriter award ( ASCAP ) in 2019 for his fantastic contribution over the years. In October of 2020, Jeff Lynne has been made an officer of The Order Of The British Empire for his extraordinary contribution to music. He previously has received three Ivor Novello Awards, which celebrate songwriters and composers, including the award for outstanding services to British music. He created the best Super Group of all time with his best friend George Harrison, The Traveling Wilburys. The Legends in the Music Industry call Jeff Lynne the best overall Musician ever and a Producer Extraordinaire. Jeff Lynne has written and produced many hit songs for music legends like George Harrison, Roy Orbison, Tom Petty, Joe Walsh, Brian Wilson, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Bryan Adams, Aerosmith, Del Shannon, the Everly Brothers, The Beatles, and so many others...
SO TRUE
One of Rocks finest!
Sound is a life force
3:52 looks like a smile that turns to pain. I know how much I miss George. Has to pale in comparison to how much Dhani misses him. RIP George.
The good young. I miss you George 💐
I miss George!
His music changed my life.
Still missed ❤️
George was always my favorite. His soul lives on to teach us to be conscious and mindful in our lives ... and much more. "All Things Must Pass" was an orgasmic explosion of great music played by great musicians who were drawn to George's spirit and nature. And it showed in the music he produced. Viewed through that prism, the breakup of The Beatles allowed George to show the world all the music in his soul.
Such a great album.
I love you George. You have inspired so many people and thank you for being the seed to my spiritual journey. Hare Krishna
I miss George Harrison, remember hearing handle with care for the first time on the radio , while playing snooker in Motherwell, recognised the voice right away.. Christ, that song is awesome, that must be Harrison singing! Next day I bought travelling on vinyl.. classic!
That was george harrison for me keeping my current contract open cheers ❤🎉😢
A wonderful Personality; he showed us how to live our lives in the right way
2:28 EVERY single guy there has that "Oh my God I'm playing with George Harrison" grin on their face. : )
amazing he quotes Bob Dylan in the first 30 seconds.
I can imagine Bob left a huge impression throughout George's career.
They were great friends up until the end.
P.S. this track 7 stuff is actually incredibly refreshing to hear. To go back to all his albums and see George's favorite picks of the album.
Man, I wish I could stroll through those beautiful gardens that George poured his heart and soul into... oh well, listening to his music is the next best thing. His albums are like gardens where beautiful lyrics and twining guitar lines grow.
Also Dhani needs a hug at 3:52 💔
Dhanis face at 3:52 broke my heart 😢. I want to hug him so badly!
Love and miss George. ♥️🎶✌🏽🌹
I wish George could have lived to see this album finished. RIP George..
Im fucking crying
As a matter of fact Mr. Lynne, George did write a song all about "I love you," and it's called "You"
Wow. First time I’ve ever seen Ray Cooper playing drums seated and with brushes. Awesome.
One of my favorite discs of all time. I know George couldn't be there to actually see it through the finished stage, but Dhani and Jeff worked these awesome songs into my favorite George Harrison record ever! God bless! Listen closely, the lyrics and music have so much to teach us all !
The title song is so powerful everyone should listen to it it will change your mind on several things
George was always my favorite Beatle. There was a humbleness about him. While all the girls screamed for Paul I focused on George's voice. RIP
Brainwashed was my breakup album when the relationship with my first girlfriend ended. Made me feel better listening to it. Now it's the last week of my current job after 6 and a half years and I'm a bit scared. Listening to it again and I feel better. Any Road will take me to where I'm going! Thanks George! ❤
💙 George Harrison the. Quiet one. Whom taught us such wisdom. Happy birthday George. I know you are in Valhalla. thank you for your beautiful gifts to our generation and our world.
This just makes me cry the music and words are so beautiful.
Lovely to see you George your kindness
Who's cutting onions ? ;(
Me, a lot of onions...😭😭😭
George Harrison has been in his many incarnations one of the greatest composers & performers I have known for a VERY long time now. I much admire how Dhani and Jeff Lynne were able to ensure that "Brainwashed" was brought to the level it was, and I am sure that George would have been pleased And, I believe, this short video details that.
George's music, and his engaging & loving personality, is always there to remind us about all the important "stuff". Friends: Look into your hearts and souls... and find a way to let go of the rest of the crap that surrounds us, way too often focused on living in the Material World.
George Harrison's son looks more like George Harrison than George Harrison
Dhani is lovely. nicely spoken and he worshiped his dad. George would be proud of his son.
Spooky, ain't it?
That's what he said
He does look like Olivia tho

Cloud 9 and Brainwashed both my happy place sometimes get in the car and drive with both albums going nowhere but everywhere because of the joy George's music gives me.
What a kind, gentle and spiritual man. Definitely the musicians, musician. A talent no one could teach, there will never be anyone like him. I truly miss him dearly.
George is the coolest. My favorite Beatle and I miss him.
I miss him, so much!
I never met him, never saw him live (He only ever played one solo date in England in 1992and I was only 10!) but I loved his heart, his wisdom and his passion for Peace.
I love ALL the Beatles, but it's HIM I wish I could have spent time with! :-)
"I feel great in my garden. But the moment I go out the gate I think: What the hell am I doing here?" - Yeah right. But what a garden! What an estate! Georges Harrison: Mr Darcy of the 20th century. But it was well deserved. Georges Harrison: the least presumptuous yet wisest and most intelligent Beatle. And with a taste for nature and beauty.
Wow. Dhani is every bit as beautiful as his father was.
John lennon and George Harrison had almost similarity the way they talk so articulate and fluent British accent that I would love to listen all day😍😍😍
For me...they where the best Beatles!
Fluent Liverpudlian.
