I'm 15 and Brian May is the reason I have picked up the guitar nd chosen to learn it well. I just hate the fact he is not included in the list when people are discussing the names of the greatest guitarists of all time

What always bothered me was Eddie Van Halen was credited a best guitarist, because of Brian May’s guitar style of playing like Tapping, which was done long before Eddie did it. For a while, Brian lived at Eddie’s home, and you can hear Brian’s distinctive style playing along on a few songs with Eddie. 🤦🏼♀️

I see Brian May as a great teacher. I pay attention to each of the movements of his fingers and those blessed hands that make the guitar speak. He has all my admiration and I wish he could be eternal 🙌🏻🎸

red special is the most recognizable guitar in the world. despite i prefer drum solos 🥴 i'm sure we all agree that this is the best guitar sound you can listen to.
Just wondered how many people in the world have once dreamed of playing like him, and how many made their own style out of it.
There’s an American Grammy award winning guitarist that was quoted in an interview: “I can make my guitar sound like any (famous) guitarist, but I can’t make it sound like Brian May”.

One of the best guitarists of all time, if not the greatest. Brian's guitar playing is as important as Freddie's vocals, and unfortunately people tend to forget about it. All members of Queen are masters of music
Dead right they can all play each others instruments Brian can play piano so can john Rodger can play guitar 🎸Freddie could play guitar and has a go on drums 🥁 they can all play multiple instruments just goes to show what pro's they are . All of them wrote number 1 songs. The only other band to do that is the beatles absolutely amazingly brilliant musicians respect 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👌

Thanks to Brian, I realized that playing the violin is not a stupid saw for a teacher. When I heard him play the guitar, I realized that with just one instrument you can convey a lot of emotions. "These are the days of our lives" solo drops me back to my childhood in 90's. That time this song sounded like some musical magic to me, gave some inexplicable
emotion, now I can feel blurry shadow of that emotion and feel nostalgia about those days of my own life

Ah, but it is the almost silent hum of the Red Spacial slowly building and building anticipation until all hell breaks loose!!! That is genius!! (Of course, what comes after that crescendo is pure genius too!!)
@@mjk3mjk3 yeah there's a lot of songs that have an extended note start solo like we will rock you and wuthering heights solo ans Alice Cooper poison i could mention more it makes for anticipation holding the note with vibrating the strings or i seen guitarist Brian may and others shake the body of the guitar back and too to create a vibration 📳every single guitarist learned that it makes it more interesting and sound better than just a single flat note 🎵🎶🎸
