There are several reasons, but one obvious one is that in Finland during the summer, actually all year around, the sun stays mostly low in the horizon. In such condition it is easier to notice cars arriving from the that direction, if they have lights on. There are other reasons also, but that is the most simple scenario to explain. It is mostly about how to make it easier for others to notice you. It is not so much about darkness, since cars have different light setting, which is used in dark.
Hi carthie ,I am prolly late but I discovered your channel through my ex colleague Jane Njagi when I was still applying for the joint application ,she speaks highly of you 😃,I love and enjoy your content ,great job dada
Woi, it's never too late for a compliment. Yeah i know Jane🤣🤣🤣 highschool mates am just wondering what she could have said. 🙉🙉🙉Thank you for watching. Hope you get a school. If you need help, ask, nitajibu
When I saw the starting picture and the title of your video, I noticed your shirt. I thought that you becoming a fan for the national football team of Finland must have been the first shock for your sister. How is she taking it?
I love Finland and this jersey was a must get cause it looked sooo cool. She is enjoying it. Preparing to go to Pori after quarantine. She is saying she is enjoying the soft life before she starts school and a part time Job🤣🤣🤣
@@carthiekoivari Soft life.... From the video it seemed that you'll make her do everything ☺️.. evidently not. Good. Watching winter Olympics? Has she chosen what will be her winter sport and what is yours? Now I remember, you had mentioned Satakunta and therefore Pori.
No am not watching winter Olympics 😅😅. She wants to skate and ski. Does not want to do cross-country skiing again. I only skate the rest, i almost ended up in the hospital🤣🤣🤣. Oh she is living the soft life because am her chauffeur and bank at the moment 😅😅😅she is saving her money 🤑
@@carthiekoivari So she has tried Nordic or cross-country skiing? Can she dance? I have this theory that people, who have some dancing or gymnastics background, have the needed basic abilities including coordination, body control and some stamina.
She has been here before so she did try alot of staff that winter. It was cross country skiing. I have a theory that all Kenyan women can dance so I think so😬😬😬
Yes she did. She says haikua ngumu. There were 5 mathematics questions ( basic math) then an essay which you should read and write something about it one day one the on another day there was an interview where they asked general questions like how you will pay school fee, if you can survive in Finland etc
Wow 😍 Your sister is one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen. Does she have a boyfriend? If he wants one, I’m more than happy to volunteer. What a queen, simpy mesmerazing ❤
You don't seem to be drivers. Cars don't have just lights on or off. There are different modes for different situations from parking to driving in darkness. Some are just for others to notice you and others are for yours too see where you're driving.
Gosh!! Don't need to be rude. Most people who don't live here actually relate. We don't put car lights now during the day in Kenya. The video was not about types of car lights and how to use them. Read the mood of the room please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT CAR LIGHTING MODE!!!! MOST COUNTRIES HAVE ALL CAR LIGHTS OFF DURING THE DAY. THEY DONT CHANGE THE MODE ETC. THATS THE POINT. PERIOD!
@@carthiekoivari It has been noted that some visitors or foreigners haven't always the time to learn how to use the lights of the cars they are driving. Automation has also perhaps made some people less knowledgeable of the settings they should use. And if they don't know the reasons for having different modes and settings in their car, they aren't interested in learning. People don't read manuals.. and sometimes they are not very helpful though they are thick. A lot of information, too much for people casually glance over. But usually people eventually find and read the details, or we can hope so.
@@carthiekoivari It is good that you don't drive in the middle of the road as some countries have left and some right sided traffic, so on average staying in the middle should be about right everywhere😜😂
"I used to think like white people have it easy"... What you actually seem to be talking about is class society, which isn't historically and definitely not in modern times at all popular accepted idea for Finn's. Those upper classes have from the Finn's perspective been mostly foreign invaders of some sort of at least representatives of foreign powers. Though those foreign powers might have seen Finland as part of their realm. But anyway, class society, or upper classes has been much more "them" and not us for most Finns. And the very idea of class society is in conflict with the basic principles of the republic and with equal rights for all. Please don't call Finns "white people". Not all of us identify with such label. For many of us it is too stained English expression, with unjustified connection to west European history, cultures, languages and even genetic background to which most Finns aren't much connected.
Great content...
Please come back..
You looks soo much alike and beautiful 😍
Great infomation and yes you are very funny 😅
