Since some of you asked here's the monitor, keyboard and mouse I'm using:
- Monitor: LG49WL95C
- Keyboard: Kinesis Advantage 2
- Mouse: Logitech MX Vertical If you're looking for a cheaper phone plan, try Mint Mobile (it's what I use!): trymintmobile.com/fryingpan
I mean, aren't remotes just sticks with buttons? why does your company need a remote software engineer?
LOL

"Should I just quit my job and travel the world" - had a moment of clarity for 2 secs.
this guy came up randomly in my recommended i have been BLESSED
Can't agree more.
Same here!! Haha
Yeah totally 💯
Same
I agreeee
not me just realizing that i could've looked into remote internships instead of giving up for the summer when i couldn't find anything within the city 🥲
I don't usually comment on yt videos, but man, this is so professionally made for the amount of subscribers you have. May the YT algorithm bless you :)
I think it is, his stuff keeps showing up in my feed 😊
Yeah it has blessed him.
I have been blessed 😳
bro he's at nearly 20k
His channel really blew up tho 📈. See ya at 100K. 🔥
"I don't actually work out, I just pretend. Kind of like my job"
I feel attacked 😂
“Oh shit I’m late! Wait… I work remote”
I felt that.
Wish i could feel this freedom soon.
Me too except I am in 10th grade and I have online classes
@@voidman6419 i am in my 10th too, can I have Your discord bro,, i want to major in CS and I am assuming you want to as well
@@bigfridge3250 yeah sure Voidman #3837
"Should I just quit my job and travel the world?... Naw I need my pay check." LOL.
This dude is so pog that when he is late for a meeting, the boss apologizes for starting early.
Plato and Aristotle moment
As a current cs major, I’m looking forward to videos about internships (do’s and don’t)! Also, following along with your journey!
this guy's growing like 1k subs a day and he deserves it all
He deserves more than this
His vids showing on my recommendations is a blessing. His content is what I have been looking for a humor mixed with programming stuffs
Glad you mentioned that we’re not robots at4:58 because that’s been one of my biggest struggles. I convinced myself I had to master react and other JS frameworks and libraries in a week and was depressed when I couldn’t. I’m still new to SE though and your vids make me feel like it isn’t so unattainable.
Where are you at now ?
I ask myself the 'paycheck or travel-the-world' question at least once a week.
travel. u can earn money again but not ur time. u can go to japan at 80 yrs old and stay in the hotel cause ur knees hurt
Grind for a few years like your life depends on it and invest as much as you can. Then enjoy the dividends and ease up on the work :) That's what I did and can now travel multiple times a year with the money I get passively.
@@ophatjb which stock is best for dividens
@@wonrei I mostly invest in industries and companies I know about. So do your own research on companies you like and see how are their financials and what kind of dividend they pay. If you don't want to go through that there are also index funds that focus on dividend companies.
Or you could just buy an index fund that follows the S&P 500. Remember don't ever blindly trust anyone who is trying to sell you something and use your own brain and do your own research.
You could also get started by looking at some dividend investors in youtube. Joseph Carlson and GenExDividendinvestor to name a couple.
Man your humour cracks me up. Cheers from Italy
Yt algorithm loves you but from what I see you deserve it 100%! Good job,man
So glad CZcams recommended this channel to me. Yours videos are motivating me to study hard and code more
Such an inspiration man, you have my dream job thanks for keeping me motivated to keep pushing forward.
I don't know why youtube reccomended me this channel but I am really grateful for doing it. This is exactly what I am going to study, well first I have to do the entrance exams, but it is really helpful to know about these small things that could be related to my career.
I relate so mutch to that " quit the job and travel the world" part xD ...Even tho i'm still intern... anyways keep up the good videos !
Sameeee
i mean, if you're working remote, you could always just... go :O
@@zumi3051 yeah once I'll upgrade from intern I'll start planning this 👍 there may be time difference tho...
me too, i think about all the places i wanna go every day, starting my 6-month internship next month on march 28th...wish me luck
@@natecallon9755 great luck ! you gonna make it !!
this is both motivating and entertaining at the same time. When im bored and i dont want to code i watch your vids and then i feel i should code
Why is nobody talking about that sick 350z? Looks awesome!
great car indeed. dont see that very often :)
This guy is going far! Love your content dude, your humor is something else.
This guy been Randomly coming up in my feed and I finally watched his vids ngl I'm blessed or should I say You're blessed.
i wonder if he'll do a q&a one day bc damn bruh he really is the biggest inspiration right now to stay and keep powering through this field. Much love man
I love everything about this dude! His humour, style, I can relate to him w having adhd, I love his work ethic, the way he lives life, his cat…
Bro need more vids, you're missing out while youtube is recommending you out. Lovely content production and quality.
I also finished my internship and now work as an SE. Lots of your video is awesome. Keep making videos like this. Already subscribed. ❤😉
Amazing work ethic. One can easily tell that you work very hard to stay at the top of your game. Inspiring stuff. Take a bow. 🙂👍
I really like the idea to do one leet code everyday. Hopefully i can develop that habit.
Try doing the monthly challenge that's how I developed that habit.
I'm so glad CZcams recommended this. Such a great video. Subbed! 👍
Thanks for the leetcode idea! As an beginner programmer im glad I can upgrade my brain with those problems.
Quality video, keep it up!
Greetings from Romania
Yooo your killing it on CZcams recently, congrats man!
That monitor is gigantic and beautiful. The only thing I think you need to complete your Gundam code cockpit is an identical monitor flipped 180 curving over your head.
great video, editing, and especially the background lofi :)
Keep posting regularly mate. Really loving the vibe
here i am as basically a noob wondering if i’ll survive computer science in university…
Same
You will, I had no idea what a for-loop is on my first week. All you need to survive CS is the will to learn. Good luck!
depends on ur cs program
@@MegaLdragoDestroy same, i didnt know anything about programming (electrical engineering student), but i passed my first semester well now
I don't even know the basics of calculus lol
I feel like I’m looking at my future life lmaoo
Nice video with great Software Engineering humour that resonates. You're doing great man. You've just gained a new sub!
I absolutely love Ultra Wides over 2 or even 3 other monitors placed next to each other. Ultra wide to me is so much more modern and a bunch of monitors together feels like I’m working in a hospital or insurance company
Damn this man's editing is c l e a n
Dude has an intoxicating laughter.
your vids are genuinely great bro keep up the grind love the vids
You are blowing up and it is honestly so deserved, king.
I'm not even into the stuff your videos are about but your level of humor and your youtube name make me sub lmao
Video Idea: Make a setup tour around that mAsSivE screen desktop!!
Amazing video and finally someone who puts uplifting /upbeat lofi !!
Just stumbled upon your video and I'm glad I did. Looking forward to you getting more successful!
An ADHD math challenged guy with a cat working as a software intern gives me so much hope for my own education and job prospects, thank you!! Subbed, btw.
“Oh shit I’m late. Wait... I work remote.” This sums up the pandemic so hard.
frying pan sama you're so motivational omg. you have no idea how much you helped me today !!
Binged all ur videos and now I feel very motivated thanks
I swear I read you were at Sillycon Valley at Sweden...anyway, you're doing a great job with the vlog, sharing your intern life is really cool and u know how to make us laugh. Good luck in your career
Whats disappointing about this channel is that there arent enough videos, I WANT MORE coz these vids are great
I agree with what you said, taking a break is actually gonna help you be more productive. Nice video btw!
Thanks for this vid man. Now I'm motivated to continue this path. Wish you a success.
Keep at it
4:50 "Or atleast that's what I say to comfort myself 😂"..damn bruh I can't say how much I relate to this
I like the humour in your videos. kind of getting Joma's vibes
Proud to say I’m here at 6.5k subs! Can’t wait to watch you grow
First time I see one of ur videos, btw love it man. Thank you for sharing, this make me keep my way up!
“At least what I say to comfort myself”
I lol’d so much this video
You're damn honest and hilarious at the same time.
You're inspiring me to go back to school for CS. Thank you for your awesome videos.
Bro you are gonna blow up for sureee keep posting man
Thanks for being open about your ADHD. As someone who also struggles with it, would you be able to make a video on how you manage your symptoms, if you are medicated, and any tips and tricks you use to help calm yourself when you find it affecting your productivity and life?
Good question , mate.
He said in the video, do your work as soon as you wake up, I do the same thing, my head is more clear in the morning
This is a different type of ADHD, can you please talk more about the symptoms of this type?
Turn into a titan LOL, ngl tho good job
God I love your videos! Thanks! I was laughing a lot. Working as a software engineer for 1,5 years remote now.
Your videos are reeeally good. I'm sure your channel will grow incredibly fast.
I swear you are the type of person to clown yourself but turn out to be a really intelligent and good at what you're doing 😂
Mans monitor is bigger than my life aspirations
I like how you editing the videos. Amazing channel bro.
everyone needs someone like him in there life tho.. i found his channel yesterday (i think?) but i already watched all his videos . anyways love u
I really found myself in the "pretend like in my job" sentence :D Guess all interns feel a bit like that :D
My work is trying to bring all employees back to the office and I honestly can’t stop thinking in learning software so I can switch jobs and work remotely. Montreal would’ve been my best choice but life happens …kinda envy your life now lol
Don't worry, you'll get there :)
@@dylanvalencia349 It is very possible if you're dedicated also fast learner or fast to adapt is a factor if your schedule is kinda busy
@@dylanvalencia349 my father did it but he almost burnt himself out so be careful and try to do it within 3 years and not 1 like my father did
You just gained a new subscriber man your video is epic
You are gonna be successful. Sense of humour, content, knowledge is just great
Next thing you know an year later, he's making mom jokes while drinking milk and programming games.
I just subscribed and boom new video after 2 weeks :). What are your thoughts on ultrawide vs multi-monitor setup (for productivity specifically)? From the videos it looks like you've transitioned from multi-monitor to ultrawide so I'd like to hear your thoughts on it (pros/cons etc.).
So I just transitioned to ultrawide and the experience has been great so far! It feels like there is more real estate, but there some small "issues" like requiring more manual resizing of windows, also I felt it was a bit inconvenient when streaming on twitch, and just general screen sharing, because you share ultrawide instead of normal 16:9 screen, so you have to work around that. Overall the extra space is good for productivity so I don't think I'll go back to multi-monitor for the time being. Hope that helps:)
Yo your videos are hilarious!!! I work in IT dept and working from home slowly getting into hybrid. I want to get into coding in the future. But these things you mention here are definitely things I can relate to 😂
I can listen you whole dayyy🥺
"I just pretend, kind of like my job." Everyone in the tech industry, everywhere felt that.
I've always liked coding. Learned only the command line and that was long ago. Always felt like I didn't know where to start really. Still don't.
Third vid I've seen. Here's a sub. Definitely worth. Can't wait to see more.
Awesome vid bro, keep it up!
It seems you're a big fan of Attack On Titan since I've seen in two of your videos now and I got say it's my favorite show ever so far, so good!
Yo you should review your monitor. How's the real life usage, productivity, etc of the super ultrawide for programming.
yesss
It’s good.
Hey what is your touchpad? Apple? I can recommend you a logitech mx ergo trackball mouse. Since we need ergo :( Your vids are great btw
Love with your videos man, Hello from Bali, Indonesia!
Bro love your Videos!
As an EE&CE graduate student, I feel like I am gonna running a Chinese restaurant in Flushing after finishing my degree.
Mail me if u need any waitress or cleaning person from same background 🥱
Count me in too
you make me hesitate life a moment as a 2nd year ee student ;_;

It's the car for me... Seems like all software developers are rich. Time for me to move to canada
woah woah 350zs go for 6000 - 15000 CAD depending on condition. Better off in the states if you’re chasing money.
Lol getting a car in canada is much worse and expensive also more rust
i was amazed when i saw you only had 3.5k subs. impressive editing, keep it up
love your videos!
Hearing you talk about how you start to say weird shit late in the day makes me feel a bit better about myself. I'm 20+ years into my career now, but I was diagnosed with ADD in my late teens, and even now, it's almost impossible to stay focused after a few hours of the bombardment of problems, questions, coding, guiding jr devs, and sometimes a little bit of corporate BS that is every day of my career. It's still an amazing job though - most of what I listed I actually enjoy. But every single day I'm mentally exhausted by 5pm.
It isn't just you. When I was coding 20+ years ago the environment was focused. Now it is endless distractions -- meetings, questions, emergency fixes, and whatever else. I saw this trend developing and left my programming career long ago.
@@TomZentra wat u do now
Just working all day long. That's kind a sad thing. There must be more in life than computer stuff
Love your video! Can't wait to see more
Bro your content is so relateable. good stuff lol
I will just copy your daily routine if you don't mind. Mine is nonexistent at the moment.
Cracking Jokes with dead face is absolute 🔥 we both r same actually 😂
i love ur voice! this video is amazing, thanku so much for sharing ur day!
My approach for that LeetCode question was iterating the input command for 4 times. Then compare origin (0,0) to the current (x,y) position (after finishing executing the instructions 4 times). If they are the same, return true, otherwise false.
That’s because for a repeating circle, or I like to view it as a rectangle, the minimum number of input to achieve an infinite repetition would be 2, like “GL”. Because you need to move at least one step and turn at least one direction to make a corner. And you can have at max 4 corners to a achieve an infinite rectangle.
It took me 40 minutes to do it but I will definitely improve on getting better.
