Maxi-scooters have become a well-known segment of the scooter world in recent years, as they offer the comfort and long-distance travel amenities of touring bikes, together with the practicality and ease of use of a scooter. This means that maxi-scooters are excellent city commuters and, at the same time, long-distance two-wheelers for trips out of town.
Zontes seems to have a keen interest in the growing maxi-scooter segment, as evidenced by its recent launches, the most premium of which is the 501 series.
Zontes has been occupying the segment of motorcycles for novice riders, particularly in the European market, for some time now.

Sad news about the 501cc series: The boss of ZONTES, Mr.Tao just announced in China that many Chinese motorbike riders have a negative impression of large displacement single-cynlinder engine, so maybe he had to give up the present 501cc single-cynlinder engine and develop a two-cynlinder 500cc class engine instead, like the YAMAHA T-MAX. This new scooter platform will release with a 368cc single-cynlinder engine first (upgraded from the present 350cc engine), and this version of new 500cc two-cynlinder engine will be delayed until 2025🥲

If Honda didn't release the ADV that thing didn't exist.....😂 It's just a copy of the Honda Adv and I rather select Honda because of its reliability and availability of parts.

Honda has hard sport suspensions, not adjasteble, which are not great for bumps and offroad.
worst, and smaller tft screen
smaller tires [Zontes 17, 15] [Honda 15-14]
doesnt have crash bars
no adv spot lights,
no rider adv foot pegs whcih alowes you to ride standing in offroad
no dash cam
no double disc brakes, and a lot smaller on honda
zontes has a lot more powerful engine 47hp [compare to honda 29], and the best thing is its a2 category and not over 500cc which is good for not paying extra 100eu for registration
And is probbably going to cost same as ovrepriced honda adv350
In my country there is not a single second hand sell of zontes scuter, and there is a lot of honda which people are selling after year

Agree but also happy that Zontes make bike like this. I don't believe that price of Honda ADV i really normal

Agree. But if you live in China Zontes is a better choice than Honda because Zontes has really excellent service. Their factory can deliver your broken parts to your nearest after-sales service store for free, you may just wait for 2-3 days for the delivery and then the bike can be repaied within one day. Only if honda sell their bikes the same price as Zonts, Honda can be an available choice, but Honda actually sells bikes in China for 50-100% more, even if they are imported tariff-free from Southeast Asia.
