Scythe R1/L1 will do Blunt damage instead of Slash.
Flail naturally has more damage than the Scythe, but will only deal Blunt damage.
The final two mastery levels always give more ATK power on every weapon.

The damage numbers are so wack in Let It Die, due to many factors. Armor negates attack, blocks negate dmg and the mysterious vitality stat also makes an impact on the dmg numbers that are displayed.

you have the silver scythe he might have meant the gold one which is gotten by getting perfect on the stamps you did to get the silver one. i personally don't have gold one though
