The moment I saw this comment I started checking out all of those bios haha shame not all of the figures have the QR code bios like the rock lord inspired ones
While I have never read hearts of steel, I have always loved the designs for the characters, I may pick this up someday
This is honestly my favorite alternate universe in TF. I really want the Hearts of Steel Shockwave that turns into a giant armored steam ferry. (Knight Morpher Cyclops is the figure for those that want to look him up) It looks so cool, but nowhere has him anymore
As a train fan, the heart of steel designs are soooo underrated. Really hope we see more in the future

I love how the mask has traits of the bayverse version's mouth, yet it doesn't serve as the mouth and instead serves as part of his helmet.
I'm pretty sure Hearts of Steel Predates Bayverse.

@@yonderjamhos was actuelly the first of what would have been a whole line of what if stories called evolutions. The reason it never went fourther then hos was specificly bc idw were told to make comics for the bay films
3:54 weird thing but isn't it weird how bayverse bee didn't have a hammer for 4 movies and then is shown in the 5th one that he used to have a hammer in the past and then that same hammer magically comes back at end

The reason for HoS Bumblebee has a hammer is because on the Hearts Of Steel cover for issue 1, it shows Bumblebee with John Henry. And in the comics, Bumblebee does end up befriending John Henry. And if you know anything about John Henry, he is an American folk hero well known for using a hammer to build the C&ORR (Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad) Big Bend Tunnel.
I read the comics, I'm aware of the context. I'm just saying bubble be isn't known for hammers outside of this one instance.
I recall seeing the Heart of Steel comic and liked, shame they never expanded more about this concept.
I mean they did. They made a follow up, where it turned out the characters in it were all gobots who just thought they were the characters they said they were.
@@PerspectiveEndThey weren’t actually Gobots, they were Maximals, which is worse, because IDWs take on Maximals is horendous.
, (especially how they handed Primal and Megatron(who is also a Maximal for some reason) Gobots didn’t really show up in IDW bar some murder cameos.
@@Blue1true4 For perspective; they made the Maximals drones in service of Unicron because Shockwave went back in time and impersonated Onyx Prime.
I've had the Hearts of Steel Prime and Shockwave for quite some time. The Prime is nice, similar to the Bumblebee one. But the Shockwave one is incredible. Yes, it's complicated to transform and can be a bit fiddly in some steps but both bot and alt modes look amazing.
Back when I first got in to collecting again I really wanted that thing. But I could never find that version of shockwave.
@@PerspectiveEnd Yeah, that was like over a decade ago. If I'm remembering correctly, that is how I came across Big Bad Toy Store because I believe I ordered it from them. Again, over 10 years ago so who knows how to find one now, and even if you did, curious how much it would cost. Anyway, it's definitely a thing of beauty.
This seems so much like that space bumblebee made by Maas Toys a few years ago. Would look great together
But who want's the Maas Toys when they can have the normal official one.

If I remember correctly, I think you can also store the hammer underneath the Alt-mode instead of having it straped to the back

And the good news is one is available.
My recent foray into OSKOs and 4th-party toys really only worked because despite the cost, I came into them (Jinbao's upscaled Feral Rex and Gravity Builder, plus an oversized Siege Megatron) as a DIY project; I ordered glue and sticks and supplies to arrive alongside them, and made them into fun projects where I learned a lot about modifying figures. It helps that these weren't PREMIUM 3P, just OSKO stuff, but still. It turned what could have been frustration into genuine fun!

@PerspectiveEnd there was a mass leak of 2025 Transformers listings a couple months ago. The leak mentioned that there was going to be a Pulse exclusive Hearts of Steel Prime and Bumblebee. Like the OP said hopefully they’re good.

I love the concept of Transformers waking up in the 1800's instead of the 1980's. These designs for the comic look awesome. I hope there's a Shockwave out there because he's got to have my favorite design in the series.

Picked up this little engine that could at TFCon LA in March and have secretly loved him more that all the Hasbro Bees of the past decade. Glad to see he passed the PE test. Like, given.
hearts of steel designs are cool. Also the only times I can think of Bee having a melee weapon (hearts of steel & TLK) he had a hammer

They do two slightly different bumblebees a cliffjumper (not surprisingly) and a red and blue guy.
I get the feeling I've seen a few other molds in this style as well.
I think Shard is Waspinator's mom, and he inherited the traits of the Death Crystals (from the season 3 episode "Chaos") as well as her ability to break apart. It's too perfect.
7:03 Actually the QR codes were last seen in Evolution last year that no longer exist since Hasbro killed and redesigned their brand sites into a cold corporate catalog conglomeration. Bios on disposable websites don’t last like bios on disposable cardboard.

I have the super old Hearts of Steal Thundercracker. He’s gorgeous but he’s also one of the first ever 3p figures so I’m worried he’ll disintegrate in my hands every time handle him.

A according to comment so I'm seeing on this video, there is a the leak that Hasbro is making their own version of this.
The follow up comic isn't real and it can't hurt me. Also, I wish there was more 3P like this, but I understand that smaller economies of scale don't really work well with CHUG, which is why the lion's share of 3P is either Legends (you can make more of a smaller thing) or Masterpiece (If you're only going to make a few of them, you might as well go all out).
Deffs gonna pick this guy up though. He looks like a ton of fun to mess around with, even if I'll need to grab my plastic cement for the headlights.
Also Hasbro is likely to sue you if you step on their toes in the chug market too much.

I shattered a window yesterday, tried to kill a fly 🪰 didn't go as expected.
It is an alright figure.... I am fed up of so many Bumblebees... Thanks to Hasbro... But the Altmode sold it for me! Call me a Geewunner, but everyone keeps forgetting the Bumblebee Altmode in the G1 cartoon was based on a penny racer car, which was extremely cute. That is what a lot of people seems to be missing in all current G1 Bumblebees.
as a massive train nerd, I don't really vibe with some HOS alt modes (Like Optimus) But Bee's is cute enough I love it, feels like a very early engine like the Lion from 1838.

A long time ago my sister tried making her own Transformers story.
Optimus was a B-17 Stratofortress, because he and Megatron were fighting in a museum.
His scan was interrupted by a falling display if I recall, thus flier Optimus.

I saw this at botch last year and TF con the year before, but I had no idea if it was good or not and the only reviews I could find were not really going into whether or not it was good. So now if I see one Ill be 100% sure to pick it up.
I actually own the Thomas the tank engine version of this figure. Got to say he's fun to mess with. (I really hope they do the hearts of steel insecticons)
Plus there is also a way to fix the head looking up constantly. Just loosen the screw on the back of the head by a LITTLE bit, and you should be golden

Idk either way, Centurion can still be kinda cool and be a bucket for Bumblebees you want to not be Bumblebee, like the WWII Bumblebee, or NEST Bumblebee whose grey/gunmetal/silver, dark grey and clear green resemble Centurion's retcon original bot mode
