When you start a new game, Bayek keeps all his fingers if you don't actually play through the mission where he gets one cut off. I started a new game and went straight to the DLC and didn't notice until I was almost done.
His finger is cut when i play it

It'd be cool to be able to have missions where you rescue people from being crucified
Thats cool, this update on rome from amunet after tahira dies is really good world building.
Octavian is the leader of the Order etc and seems to set up rome as a powderkeg for maybe a new game?

@@Gyc864 They split up because of the creed,they couldnt stay together anymore because they both hidden ones it has nothing to do with their son. They both ended up being burried together

It should’ve been Bayek up there not Amunet, He founded the creed.
But he never went to Rome so he wasn’t known there Amunet did
They both did, Bayek just stayed in Egypt whereas Amunet stayed in Rome
He's the co-founder of the creed.
The theory is that bayek didn’t want to be remembered if you want to watch a video on the subject go the channel of fizhy

I screwed up when I recorded my replay. If you jump straight to the DLC with a new game, Bayek's model still has all its fingers until you play through the main game mission where he cuts one off. Weird but that's how it's coded.

got the Assassin's Creed trilogy after not playing sence 2011, and was like oh Amunet an Egyptian assassin and was surprised by her showing up in another entry to then be disappointed she's not a main character oof
Like an assassin with no hidden blade but has a snake has so much potential for unique assassin.

The person playing started a new game and jumped straight into the DLC, Bayek's character model for some reason doesn't change in accordance with the story just you progress.
@@SecondAftermath can you explain that too me I just finished and that new game + what does that mean??
@@UsernameTheIII so I'm assuming the person in the video instead of doing the quest that would cut Bayek's finger off, decided to start the DLC quests (the ones in the video). I guess the game keeps you with his finger until the one mission were he losses it regardless of what you do, like a dlc mission set after the story which is a bit weird but oh well

@@Sevvina Every fucking thing. Origins had a much better story with better character development, build up and pay off. This one is soo blend. I've played all the AC's and this one is by far the worse, it may look good sometimes, but it is soo boring and bad acted.

I haven't finished Odyssey yet but I have noticed some less-than-stellar voice acting. It seems like many of the voice actors are trying to hard. A lot of dialogue sounds forced. I kind of like what they did with the story regarding the tie-ins to the Precursors but I can see where it's not nearly so personally engaging as Origins was.
Vwall007ST I think because they focused on making odyssey too much of something that it’s not. Odyssey is just a clone that failed in every department it tried to emulate. Terrible story, terrible characters and their arcs, odyssey has forsaken the AC name
