@@imzelone I think they are referring to the 10 SP refund that she gets when she kills an enemy. It's not truly RNG but the timing must be really tight because Virtuosa can kill with her true damage instead of Ray.

Her range. It's like Ambriel S1 range in sheer potential. Then unlike Ambriel she hits like a truck while also reducing the drawbacks of the archetype that hurt Coldshot so much. Hence malding with Ray RNG because that range and power that not even Pozemka can do. In the clears of 625 (risk 18 where all rewards stop) Ray isn't used much because people like Typhon, GoldenGlow and Virtuosa S3 can still kill enemies with little issue. Once you start getting to risk 690ish and up Ray is a staple for punching through the stat bloat of high risk.
She can do big pp dmg with low SP cost + 10 SP talent (Stupid Ray) She can stall on her own And she have flexible range unlike Pozy or Schwartz She tbh Great operator to pull but sadly her banner is on worst spot

Because the run requires her to kill the second jellyfish so she can trigger that “10DP” talent which is the most important turning point that require RNG farming 1. Her skill can run out before she kill the jellyfish so u have to be frame-perfect with her skill timing 2. She sometime got kill steal by Virtuosa so no sp refund
