the original Gears trilogy had some of the best music i've ever heard in a game, close to the orchestral sound track of Total Annihilation

Más bien cuando intentaban hacer cosas de calidad y no cantidad como ahora ya que antes al ser estudios no tan grandes no contaban con tanto presupuesto aún así lograban hacer de un videojuego arte.

Steve Jablonsky is certainly a very talented composer.
While this is not as intense as the original, it is obvious that this orchestra deliberately took a more calm approach to playing this piece. Overall, very well done!
I wonder if this uses a studio recording of the orchestra since a lot of the keys dont match with the video.
Edit: that or they used really damn good audio recorders
I had so much to Thank this saga, responsible of some of my most cherished childhood memories, and also helped me connect with my cousin by playing all the campaigns with him

Gears is a fantastic game series that should be remembered forever. Especially now that we have a fifth games. No other game series compares to the amount of greatness in this games. Compelling story and gameplay that makes you want to come back. Sorry CoD, but these games outshines all by a mile. Your had your chance, but blew it with Bo4z
Hopefully a 6th one on a few years. I don't mind waiting. As we age, we keep on getting amazing Gears game, I am down for that. Right now I am 26, and hopefully the games keep on coming in. The day will come when Marcus Fenix dies, and oh man, that is going to strike us hard, but he will be with Dom and Anya.

Indeed, this Gear is 37 and still playing. I played them when they first came out and was amazed. I'm waiting with baited breath to see Gears 6. Though I can wait. As they have been worth it
