I remember going through the road to ruin cut content for gears of war 2 and thought I broke stealth because of a scripted event
if we ever get that rumored remastered trilogy adding all the cut content would be amazing
The construction boomer would probably be something very similar to the Tremor boomer in RAAM'S Shadow
The locust dragon would’ve been real interesting to see in the Mt Kadar level in Gears 2, & of course being evolved by the Swarm would’ve been a awesome idea
They're really missing alot of opportunities in not adding more enemy types, hopefully we see more swarm monsters or evolved locusts as bosses
8:18 you can actually spot prototype Cole during the Intro Cutscene for Gears 1, he runs in front of the camera for a split second during the part with the Brumaks crushing COG Gears.
That dragon would have been a great mount for Raam. Skorge had the hydra, and Karn had the shibboleth, but Raam should have had something better than a kryll reaver.
I would actually love a classic onyx guard game. Especially with the voices from the judgement campaign
that and another game playing as alpha team which are ordinary cog gears with ordinary armour.

29:51 this reminds me of the end of gears of war 2, leading towards 3. there was a limited time horde mode where there were wretches that ran at you and shot gnasher shots. it was so overwhelmingly difficult but funny to play. i think they also did a similar thing with the sires
If gears can come out with customizable cosmetics for characters would be sick. Hopefully the implement more creative ideas because gears has so much potential to play like any other game. Horde mode mix up with beast mode would be sick a pvp one on cog vs locust 5v5. Or a concept like hell divers they can go any direction

I'm honestly not surprised at all that Steve blum was in gears, seriously the legend has been involved with pretty much everything.
Maybe the imulsion gun is the locust version of a smaller hammer of dawn? Shooting out super heated plasma or lava

I imagine a gears 2/3 remaster w/ the added locust characters from gears 4 and 5.
I would adore to fight the stalker armored kantus and the added lambent characters in gears 5s multiplayer.
I'm glad we got the Marcus Fenix VA we got, cause he is the only VA that can act the way Marcus does In-game.
The main reason why it's showed the locust with Cog armor because there were left behind and abandon which the Cog decide to recruit them.

Halo has loads of cut content. Cool thing is that much of it has been restored as mods for the steam version of Halo Master Chief Collection. With some being official releases from the developers and others restored from "locked off" code in games.
I hope they used some of the old locust concept and use it for the swarm in gears 6 . They need to make us fear them.

In judgment theres an easteregg in the museum map that gives you one of the older lore- before pendulum wars. Sword of the cog i believe? Its still just as cool. 😂😇

Always wondered if Anthony Carmine was really gonna be a more fleshed out character. Because of that first trailer.
You know what's funny over the past few months I had this idea of the Locust integrating big monsters from other universes into their forces. The main one being the Rathalos from Monster Hunter. Now I find out there were ideas for a Gears Dragon once upon a time.
I hope we Get a Gears remastered collection soon.

The troika gunner is one of my favorite locust in the series it’s sucks we never seen him playable 😂😂😂. The closest we got was the scrapped gears of war 3 dlc
28:18 a little trivia for those who may not know, the sniper rifle version of the markza was actually featured in gears 5 for a short period of time for public testing, and the gun basically acted as a breechshot, and from that alone you can probably tell why it got removed like a day later

I feel like the savage buzz saw launcher just got broken into 2 weapons they repurposed the cross bow design for the trip laser launcher seen in gears judgement and obviously they used the buzz saw for the heavy weapon in gears 4

In the one flashback scene in gears 3 where we understand that Cole has now lost his hopes and dreams and his social status as a sports star, because his home planet was invaded by aliens, that joke meme character has more charater development than any other character in the series.

Gears 6 is going to be insane. Unreal engine 5.. belive they said its going to look just as good, if not better, than senuas sacrifice 2. & that game was beautiful. Possibly the best graphics to date

Is it just me or did they make gears 4 and 5 enemies more "kid" friendly? If the original concept stayed in, I believe the games would of been alot more successful. Just my opinion tho
