    Hi, very nice video and what a plane ! I'm absolutely in love with the conquest II. Would you be able to help a bit to understand the "behind the scenes" of owning this aircraft ? Like Mx, SID's and everythin ? ;) Thanks a lot !

    Just curious, how did you decide on flying at 270? With the weather being what it was could you not go up to 350? Thanks for the video I appreciate the explanation on what you were doing. It is my goal to buy my own 441. Would love to know your thoughts on the pros and cons of the 441 compared to something like the C90 or 200. Thanks and safe flying.

      Hello,
      Our Conquest is not RVSM certified so we are limited to 280. I really like the Conquest, it is a heavy hauler and I operate at 100% all the time and usually true around 311 knots. I can get it to around 500 lbs total fuel burn at 28,000. Vegas to North Carolina a non issue. The only issue with the Conquest are the SID inspections, lots of inspections due to the SIDs. It can get expensive. I fly a Conquest 425 also and really prefer the Garrett engines. Never flown a King Air. We also have a Citation CJ3+. Very nice plane.

      Ours might be for sale soon. We just installed the Garmin GFC autopilot. Very nice and rock solid. Our engines are about 200 from Major. One of the lowest time Conquest with only 4800 total hours.

      CJ3 is an awesome plane from what I have read. Thank you for the insight on your 441. I am a year or so from being ready to buy one. Wife gets a few toys first. Then she won't complain to much about the plane. :) You really do have a low hour 441, lowest I have run across. I will check with you to see if you still have yours when I am ready to start shopping. Thanks and safe flying. @@georgiamountainadventures

      @@georgiamountainadventures An AOPA article says the -10 is good for 310 kts at FL290. CZcams doesn't allow links, but google "Quick Look: Cessna Conquest II Versatile, easy to fly, and efficient"

    I bought 441. When say you run at 100%, you mean keep condition levers in TO Climb till you desire to slow down for landing ?

    • @georgiamountainadventures
      @georgiamountainadventures  Před 10 měsíci +1

      I push the condition levers to 100% and never pull them back until after landing. It only has 100% full and 96% cruise settings. I lose approximately 15 knots at 96%. Engine shop said zero issues at 100%. It saves time especially the TBO. If I fly slower it adds time to my TBO on every flight. It is a little quieter at 96% but a Conquest is not very quiet at and setting. It is a little more fuel efficient at 96%. I was told the Dash-10 engines are 1000 HP derated to somewhere around 635HP on the 441. Do you own a 441? They are nice planes.

      Yes own 441 with Dash 10s. Had my performance manager on flight with his box. We tuned engines to full performance
