Glad to. This whole you tube channel thing is quite new to me. And I'm still very camera shy, and learning how to video and edit, but I do enjoy sharing some of the work I get to do in the shop. Thanks for taking the time to watch!

Thank you, Just finished coating the trigger guard and weaver scope base. Should have a video for that and putting it all back together tomorrow. I need to get a new dust cover for the bolt before final assembly. Thanks for your comment and thanks for taking the time to watch.

I just picked one up , it has a lot of pickup truck gun rack wear besides it looks like it was dragged across the Edward's Platto a few times, and then it was never cleaned.only I've done was remove the wood and gave it a gasoline bath.

I’ve never seen Edward’s Platto, but your description makes me think it’s a little rough looking :)

@@Turnbullcustomguns Texas hillcountry rocky and rough for the most part,I have a rifle length 06 in really good condition other than someone screwing up the scope base mount hole on the receiver, over size and generally screwed up. Bought it cheap some years back, was going to change to Leopold base saw that and it was never mind. Stopped at a gun shop on the way to and from cpa, and after 2 g's on the cpa had to pick up a couple of junkers. I need to pick up some extractors rivets with tool and barrel nut wrench. I'm going to think on sending you my grand daddy's 740 to redo to original condition. Had it reblued many years ago and it was a crap job with not blued. Give me 2 numbers, wood only and wood and metal on 742. Boltaction wood and recoil pad on bolt action stock. Next number to Remington auto loaders shotgun, blue and wood.1048 I think 16ga thanks

I'd love to do them for you, please email me a couple snapshots of the two guns to tcgarms@gmail.com or text them to 207-423-5909 and I will send you a quote. I like to put eyes on them before I give an estimate.

What process did you use for the trigger assembly? Did you re anodize that part or did you send that part out to have it done?
