    Ahhh, my favorite Wera tool. It saves me multiple times when dealing with rounded hex bolts. It builds like a tank, I have it for couple of years now and It still like brand new. One complaint I have is it's a bit hard to pull in or out of the holder. Well, I appreciate the reason so the keys won't fall off easily, but still, it's too damn tight, lol. But it's only minor complaint. I still like it a lot

      I have also experienced the tight fit or the holder and it’s not pleasant to deal with lol.

      @@ParklanCustom I found that a little spray of WD-40 or similar multi-oil solves the sticky holder problem for me.

    I ended up spending the money on the stainless versions, not only great tool, but looks like a work of art, love these hex keys.

    Nice sets. I have one set with holding function. It has a little ball bearing on the ball end, and is very useful. Hex plus profile is inspired by torx. I va tried on multiple occasions to remove a Hex bolt with a torx bit. If you have the right size torx bit actually it will do the job in emergency situations. I use hex plus on my bicycle. Actually I recently bought the wera bicycle set 3 which has a lot of hex plus bits, and is the only set with ball end bits that I own. Very good quality tools. The plastic on this l keys is very durable. I have this set for 4 years now. I also use the torx set. Have a nice day. 👍👍

      I have both the Bicycle Set 3, and the Hex Plus set with the holding ball too. They’re perfect for working on my bike. I actually found the Bicycle set 3 on Bezos online store for 40% off. Hell of a deal

    Idk there’s always something about Wera products that make it difficult to pull the trigger. Plenty of times I’ve used the hex shaft on a key with a wrench… not even a option here…

    I'm sold on these.
    I have Bondhus keys but Park Tool branded, only difference is the branding and Park Tool blue on the holder.
    But after years of use I've worn ut the two next smallest ones, but others look beaten up and slightly rounded.

    I was looking at them and the Wiha ones. Wiha won though. Wera have plastic casing that open which in time will eventually start to tear on the bend and the rubber color sleeves will start to warp making them sometimes hard to put back (review from friends who use and abuse them). Wiha got solid plastic casing that move all of the allen keys on each side and keys themselves are powder coated with "supposed" luminescent paint (supposed cause I dont work in the dark). That said I use all Wiha, Wera and Knipex tools, where you cant go wrong with this set either.

    what's the different between the stainless one, which one strongest?

    • @ParklanCustom

      The black oxide are probably going to be more durable, but the stainless steel is pretty rust resistant

    • @ParklanCustom
      @ParklanCustom  Před rokem

      @@dammarfirdausia6802 The black oxide is just fine for me, the stainless steel is much more expensive. However, if you use a lot of stainless steel fasteners, then the SS would be the way to go, if you like me and used a lot of zine/galvanized, the the black oxide is just fine, and it has a fair about of rust resistance as well.
