PS, you can put drawers , then canteliver units on top, you now can open them with out unstacking, also a trick if they are locked together you can tilt to access the box below..👍

I bought this set after using the Rigid for years. I like the canteliver unit and drawers. The canteliver unit, I removed the trays on the bottom, out a padding and the 2 drills , battery charger and batteries fir perfect with no moving !👍

everyone saying the wrench wouldnt be able to be used with a cheater bar is wrong IMO he is simply using the tool wrong, you adjust the pipe wrench FULLY CLOSED on the pipe so that you can literally just push the wrench without have to also squeeze the wrench. i do not own one nor have used one but that is my siple observation off of 2 videos watched and makes sense to me

It is all about perspective and work style. I am certain Makita did their homework before adding the feature.

I prefer the cobras but if i could only have one, and never the other, ill go with the plier wrench. Its a great compliment to a multi tool, and it wont scratch surfaces like the cobras. Also 5 inch ftw 😂

Makita tools are rubbish, DON'T buy, battery drills, you pay say 80$ for a drill and rechargeable battery, battery dies, and 75$ just for a new battery, what a scam, its bin job...

These ok for basic combo locks? Yahoos at work keep forgetting their combo and call us in maintenance to cut their lock. Been using these giants ones we have. Would be nice for just one to keep in my pocket or bag lol

Most general purpose gripping plier has got to be something like a 41 04 250 a 10” vice grip plier. The Petersen Vice Grip plier is a classic - I have multiple pairs of them. Start using Vice Grips and you’ll definitely add them to the list.

I like the small pliers too. 150-160mm is my sweet spot.

71 31 200R are my go to for rural fencing- cutting 2.5 high tensile wire - the jaws get a real work out as they are used for cutting and pulling/prising out staples.

IMHO a pair of vice grips would have made the list

Both are great.. so just carry both !!!!!!!!!¡!!! Omg listen u guys dont choose one because for its size its really easy to have both of them and sometimes u need to hold a screw using one tool and spinning the nut with the other tool ... The cobras can open wider .. but the pliers wrench will not scratch cause its smooth .. both are so important ;)

He really tries to say Knipex is better than Wiha. Those Wihas definitely beat out those other two.

That’s a great feature bc their’s times when I want to use the light just like that. A timer on the light would be a great feature instead of just staying on.

It took ordering twice to get the Robust R model. Can't say it's night and day, but so far, they work great.

I bought a pair of these and they are horrible. For $134 and they won’t cut no matter how much I adjust them. I bought the weicon number 5 and they cut every time without all the adjusting and they were only $26

I own several pairs of "needle nose" pliers. I own the Knipex with the insulated grips and they are my favorite of the group. It should be obvious that the longer and thinner that pliers are, the poorer they will perform while putting torsional loads on them. Being long and thin, the Knipex aren't made for torsional loads. It's simply a case of using the right tool for the job, if you need to twist things, needle nose type pliers probably aren't the best choice.

Knipex are the best .... PERIOD !!!! EXCEPT NO OTHER !!!!😊

If you're only going to carry one I'd go with the regular Cobra because the toothed plier head will grip things that the smooth pliers-wrench jaws will not, but the pliers-wrench will be much gentler on nuts and such if that's something you encounter. The Cobras will also turn bolts but will also likely chew it up in the process. The big advantage that the pliers-wrench has is an enormous amount of clamping force because of the lever design of the pliers. I really wish they'd make a pliers-wrench/Cobra hybrid.

Disengaged: chokes up to get the shittiest grip with terrible leverage. Engaged: pushes the nail as far into the jaws as they'll go and grabs the very bottom of the handles for maximum leverage. I get what they do but you sure gave a shitty demo.

Why not cut the dowels at angles ahead of time before installation them in the holes? .

I can use it to cut through 4mm steel strips in which I always cut with the side only 1-2 mm of material at a time. I can eat through an abus granite plus folding lock.

~ I just ordered one off Amazon .... for Sockets & Allens ... If I wanted to drive a Screw.. id use one of my 20 Drills instead ...

I use the 61 01 200 high leverage end cutters for rural fencing - as this one tool easily cuts 2.5 mm high tensile fence wire and then will twist and cut 2.5 mm tie wire. Best tool I have had for cutting and twisting in 60 years of farming. Handle opening I hadn’t noticed - and I do use them one handed. I own three different small bolt cutters from Knipex and both end pinches you demonstrated but the high leverage 61 01 200 cutters are my choice for rural fencing.

Thank you for this great presentation. I am trying to assemble a first aid kit for a fishing boat. The intent is to have a cutting tool to snip either side of a 7/0 hook when they embed in the hands of inexperienced fishermen. Some of the upper end hooks are made of tuff steel. Thank you.
