Every other In-The-Bag video the player is sitting down and well setup. With Dave, it’s almost as if they just said “hey Dave, we should do an InTheBag video soon”, and he’s like, “well, I’m about to walk to my car and I have my discs with me, how about we do it right now?” 😂

Innova has never cared about their team,i.e. words from thomas Gilbert "if another team offers you more than what we do then take it".....pretty bad to tell your team that.

@@brian6speed Not even remotely comparable discs. The Berg is pretty unique but if you had to compare it to an Innova offering I guess it would be... the Pig? Aviar X3? Dunno.
The Polecat is much more gildey and much less stable.
I really like the star rats as my midrange specifically for the "ranging" as you describe it. They don't have much glide, so they only go as far as I make them.
That why I use the Champion Shark 3 2 in bag with several backups for a midrange, less floating putter glide more of a forward penetrating style glide and so I can pinpoint the mold better then the Shark. I use the Shark though in old Star version (backups) and an old Pro for more neutral shots with both at ~175 grams which Shark mold is used as my approach disc due to how I can float the mold to the basket since I tended to come out short before I found the mold. If the Shark went oop, I would get a Hydra for the same shot as that flies nearly the same just slower by a hair as a true putter over the Shark that is more a hybrid putter style midrange.
My Brother uses the Gator in Metal Flake Champion and in G-Star for his approach disc due to how they only go as far as he makes them go though they will not go past a set distance for most players due to how OS and lacking in glide the mold is.
The work you've done with innova has provided for me and now my wife and kids too, endless awesomely fun times Dave! Thanks man! Now I think I'll go try an invader.

I have a Gstar Tern at 166g that I found in a creek with high reeds. It absolutely bombs. I will definitely consider getting similar discs.

Dave, great in the bag vid. Several similarities we share gorilla grip gloves, wombat 3 and I just got a mako 3 as well. Oh, My first disc I ever threw was a innova ace in 1987 at whitebirch park hazelwood mo. Scored an eagle first game. Yes pure luck on that one. Thanks to your company and all the cool products

Wombat3 might be the best out of the box mid for players with smooth form/no wobble. Sooooo good. Breaks in a little flippy for use over 300’, but if you throw mids 200’-275’ this thing will be MONEY

Gstar is unbelievably underrated tbh. Probably the best midrange you don't throw (if you throw Innova) is a Gstar Roc3. It beats in beautifully over years of usage. Awesome disc. Also putters for driving in Gstar, just try them.
Gstar is easily my favorite all weather driver plastic. Can't remember the last time I've heard of a pro throwing it, not that I care.

Oooh, I didn't know there where Halo Mako3s! I love my star mako3, but it is starting to get nice and beaten in. A fresh halo version for a more stable flight would be super neat.

I so far have %100 in gap hits with the DX Aero. Someone had messed up with their's as I was walking up to the course. So I tossed it back to them when they asked. I had to make it in between trees, I did just that.

Totally. It's one of the things that bugs me about the MPO. They all throw the same 7 or so discs (or really, their manufacturers clone of the same disc).

Seems Wombat3 is sold out everywhere other than the DX plastic. Hopefully they'll produce some more in Star soon. Pros seem to like the Wombat3.

It has a two glide. I have one I use to putt on windy days. They don’t rise. Need to get used to flicking w it as they die quickly

I had to retrain to throw lefty when I got surgery in my right arm. I can still do some things righty, but, can't power drive without the risk of killing myself. Shrykes are one of my favorite moulds.

You have all these touring pros and this is the in the bag we get? No offense but no one cares. Show off your pros man, y’all are doing a terrible marketing job for your players.
I think all the companies are pretty poor at marketing. Two (or more) in the bag videos should be up for every sponsored touring player on every companies main site every year. People love this stuff and it moves product...and it's not there most of the time. Hard to figure.
I do like to hear what Dave has to say about his discs. I'd also like to hear about what other long time guys in the business carry.
