I love how they invited Jeremy to work on minecraft and he just decided to add a secret room to Achievement City without telling anyone nor having anyone notice like thats fucking incredible.
I love the idea too, of what would have happened if they found it without Jeremy being there, and just... The confusion about it would have been spectacular.

The fact that Jeremy, at the time just a fan and not an employee, got access to Achievement City and immediately built a secret room for himself is exactly why he's my favorite achievement hunter. He saw a chance and he took it, just like the rest of us would.
Idk if everyone would. I feel like this action is the embodiment of “I REGRET NOTHING! I LIVED AS FEW MEN DARE TO DREAM!”

I would have been more obvious though, like I would have put a sign near the lake saying to go 1000 blocks north, then another at that location saying to dig under a certain block to find another sign that says to dive under the lake

Lil J wasn't trying to secretly store a false copy of the tower of pimps.
To be fair... Gavin's secret room was a small cube sporting a tower of pimps in a sort of "I won once" kinda wimpy way.
Jeremy's was a huge underwater base with glass walls, patterned floor and creepy messages.
And to be fair Gavin and Geoff have come out plainly and said that Gavin would have won so many times because he and Geoff built a lot of their lets plays together but Gavin was either being a good sport or an idiot and letting the others win.
Aw, Jeremy is so distressed about his secret room, it's kinda adorable and heart-breaking

Only guess is at the time young Jeremy probably didnt think he'd get hired so when he came in to help AH that week he built that to leave a "footprint?" in his favorite LP channel lol.
Im thinkin he just wanted something that only he knew about,
something secret he could visit when the recordings were off.
the thing is, only geoff has the world save, none of them can get on it without geoffs permission

First mention of the secret room(s) was in the World is Lava episodes. Jeremy asks Matt if he lava'ed his secret room(s) (notice J mentions it plural, so there's more than this one room). Matt said no he didn't. So Matt knew what Jeremy was doing when he built it.

Ryan had the Edgar hole and display cases for animals as his secret rooms, the whole "Edgar is the one in the hole" moment came from everyone else discovering it. Incidentally, that's when Ryan terrified the haters into submission.
Well, the room below Geoff's house was a secret too. Micheal and Gavin shared the nice dynamite path between each other's house. I think Jack is the only one who does not have his own secret room.
Beneath Geoffs house was just the storage vault for construction before creative mode was added so it was never really a secret. The real secret room in Geoffs house was his second floor addition that everyone made fun of.

Gavin finding this is poetic justice from when his secret room was found. Plus the fact that him and Jeremy both said get out of my room is golden.
I keep watching this because it's so goddamn cute, the animation is cute, Jeremy is cute, this whole animation is amazing.

I like how in the actual video Jeremy's secret room is talked about yet irrelevant at the same time. They talk about it, most of them do not even try to find it, and then they move on completely.

Zach tbh, I don’t really think it was, Gavin made a small trophy room of victory, and it was discovered real quick, but, Jeremy, before he even worked there, got access to ac as a fan, got all the resources to build it underwater, made it giant, rigged it to blow, and left it there for years without anyone noticing. I think he was just trying to put something that people would remember him for if they saw that, or if they found it and didn’t know who did it so he could watch it and be like “yeah, that was me”
