No one will give Pep the credit he deserves for his management of such a short squad and how he has handled injuries this season, win or lose the Premier League or Champions League.
At first they sell Mahrez, Gundogan and Palmer. Half the season Kevin gets injured and in this final stretch Walker gets injured and so do the main centre backs. All this has happened with City playing Liverpool, Arsenal, United and Villa in two weeks.
It has probably been, along with the treble league, the most difficult to manage.

Pep is certainly there, yes. But never, ever, talk down what Sir Alex did. The man's achievement over three decades speak for themselves. He still holds the most silverware in history by a margin of 20ish trophies. Pep will probably catch that but will always face the counter argument that he was at the best run club in world football (which he contributes to, but is clearly not the sole part of) during his PL reign. Also, nothing Pep has been involved with is comparable to what Fergie did with Aberdeen.
When you talk about SAF, people only have Man United in mind, but that's where you guys get it wrong, SAF came into a Man United club that have Zero structure or money to spend, the club was in crisis, and SAF got the Man United job as a result of his legendary exploits with Aberdeen in Scotland (check SAF history with Aberdeen). Meanwhile Pep has always chose his club wisely for the fact that he takes not only over stable clubs, but also clubs with the financial power to spend hugely. So no one is saying Pep is not a legend of the game, Pep got his flowers, but before you start compering coaches, you need to know something of this build up history.
Pep has never been tested managing a club in a weak state. Fergie did this back in the day with success, and Xavi Alonso is doing it right now - without 115 charges.

When city won and went top I said this is when the others slip up. We haven’t been top for ages and all of a sudden we play first and go top. I had Liverpool to draw though but Arsenal 1-2 loss.
