Today I am showing you a crazy bug that will let you max out you Combat Skills in Skalitz.
Just follow the video guide :)
Remember guys not to save and load after you trigger the bug.If you do so you will be no longer able to farm the NPCs for XP.

*Henry proceeded to knock several people out, kill a guard, punch all of his friends repeatedly for 2 hours straight, and overall just pillage Skalitz before the Cumans could get to it. He was reportedly feeling quite hungry after the incident.*

I watched the tutorial u did 1 year ago (your first video) and it helped me so much!
Normally i just speedrunned Skalitz and NEVER won any fight, barely even unarmed fights. Now, i have even little chance to win fights.
So i just wanted thank you from it😸
Just a bit of extra information regarding the set up:
You don't have to fight Kunesh at all, if you talk to him and pass the speech check (you should be taking the speech levels at the start anyway since your farming all other skills) you can then walk up to his locked chest (without the key for it) and interact with it, you'll begin the quest to get lockpicks from fritz.
Additionally regarding the farming of stealth levels, if you weigh yourself down just before over encumbrance (max weight) then knock out a villager, you can pick them up, go to a secluded location, then walk in circles until you run out of stamina (from being over weight) at which point you'll drop the villager, waking them up so you can knock them out again quickly, just be aware you deal a bit of damage to them each time so you'll kill them after around 4 or 5 knock outs, its possible they will get mad at you when they're close to death and try to fight or call a guard, so try to knock them out while they're getting up. This should make stealth a lot faster to level (it also works outside of Skalitz if you want to grind max stealth skill).
(I only tried this on Xbox so different platforms may work differently)

I don't get why people are complaining about this over cheating - it's an entertaining vid showing how to do some early exploits. At the very beginning too, so anyone can mess around with it for fun. Good job

Interesting... Never heard of this bug before
there is an exploit to knock out yohanka before the quest just find her use a saviour snaps and reload and you can knock her out, therefore allowing you to not have to hit your friends
For some reason, even with the glitch the other guards keep attacking me

Can't believe how much time I spent trying g this tutorial. I would get to the combat scene with Kunesh but would never give me the lock picking task...additionally knocking out villagers I'd get so far on up to level 2 or so but I'd always get caught somehow. So frustrating.
Anyone know why I'd not get the lock picking phrase and task?
Whenever I trigger the bug I can’t talk to any other characters and can’t advance on the game
it’s faster to jab with weapons. any damage grants the same xp
You know you could also just do this with the horses, no penalty, auto-clicker friendly

if you kill every villager and guard before the exploit would that avoid lowering reputation? i’ve taken out every guard, the baliff, all non named villagers. my reputation is at 55.
I am not sure. But probably after you leave Skalitz your Reputation will drop more. After I killed everybody and left to Talmberg I checked and my reputation was -100 😅🤣
I do this bug too, but I kill Johanka, but that auto clicker mod is a great tip, I can only stand about 15 minute of levelling, get to about 5. wow 2 hours per skill, yeah gonna need that clicker🙂

Can you beat the cumens chasing you and attacking Theresa once you've leveled up this much or are you still bad at fighting until you've trained with Bernard?
I managed to kill the first Cuman and the ones which were harassing Theresa. I used the bow since this is the easiest way. I will make a guide about this soon 😉
i was able to kill the first guard, the two that came after. and 3 that came out after i went near the horse. i believe if i go further up the road where the game asks me to go there’s 5 more. (i tried killing them all for about an hour and im around the 10s in my skills) the bow will be your friend. target another archer and the yellow cumen that rushes at you. the archer carries like 30 arrows and you can position yourself in some of the huts by the logging camp by the horse.
You have a very nice little channel here! I can't stand the algorithm but sometimes it works:-)
Not a fan of exploits though, why not just play the game???

I know your guide is quite new but is there a chance that they patched this bug out as of 5th May? Have had about 8 attempts and just can't get the bug to activate! Have followed all the steps! 😞

Hi, I just tested now. It still works. You have 2 options : 1.Kill Johanka before starting the quest - this way the nobody will call for the catchpole and the fight will go on forever 2.Kock out Johanka while she is saying that the catchpole is on his way(she will arrive at the fight scene immediately after you beat the first guy-also you need to be very quick when knocking her out)
Please note that i am on PC. Not sure if this works on PS4

I guess most of this bug will work for consoles. Untill the automation part... It's crazy how long it takes to farm to 20
It is 100h game. If it will be faster than the normal runs will be ruined.
I love this bug. But I hope they fix it so this won’t be possible in the next game. Just for immersion.

Do i have to finish the pick locking quest then do the sword fighting lesson?
Only if you want to. You can do the quests after triggering the bug. But it's recommended to do them before because the bug is corrupting the game and the save/load option will break as well

I hope you cover KCD 2 as well. The RPG community needs more women making leveling guides. Literally, in ALL my years of gaming, i have never seen a leveling guide by a woman. Besides all that, though, it's actually a really good tutorial.

Why would anyone want to do that? Since it’s just expoliting a bug, it makes more sense just to alter the stats through console commands instead of spending all the time doing this.

I doesn’t work for me. No matter what I do I get arrested. Even after I trigger the bug.
Try killing Johanka before starting the quest. This way nobody will call the Catchpole and the fight will take forever.
@@marilala2274 I manage to trigger the bug but within a couple minutes of practicing the sword a random soldier arrives to arrest me.
Actually, I just had to wait a couple minutes for the Catchpole to leave. Thank you!
Also do u really need to do the stealth????
Not really. Only if you want to. Stealth will let you knock out the weakest guard and take his sword so that you can farm the NPCs with a sword to level up your sword skills.
@@marilala2274 I like that you included that - there are a few ways to get a sword but it kinda looked like another exploit the way you did it
@@ScandalUK Yeah. You can also use Lockpicking to get a sword from one of the chests.
Do these exploits still work in 2024 on ps4?
Not sure if they work on PS4. You will have to check that. I am on PC.

Try killing Johanka before starting the quest. This way the catchpole won't even check out the fight scene. You can find Johanka in a house near the fight scene or in front of the house on a bench

Why need an auto clicker just type in max stats. Unfortunately I'm a PS4 player so have to do everything manually and herb picking is so F*** in boring
you can poke with your weapons. it’s almost double the output and xp is based on landing hits, not damage. It took OP about two hours with slashing so or using RT or L2. use L1 like i said
the only downside is when you finish the prologue you will have -100 skalitz rep
If you're going to do this why not just pull down the console and set your stats to 20?
just use cheatmode, this is cheating anyway and cheatmode is much faster

Who else wants to play this game in the most stupid way ever? Nothing like abusing the limits of game programming in order to "win" a game.
what are you opinions on speed running and the meta in every single game?
@@eddieru I consider speed running a special animal. I think that, barring using bugs and programming exploits, speed running is interesting for games like platformers. As far as RPG's go, I'm more meh about it. Speed running isn't about fun, it's about setting records.
@@shepdog069 i think you have it halfway. they consider it fun. just like some of us like to play rpgs like this. you never played a different rpg, saved the game and killed everyone in town for their loot? we do that but the whole game. there’s goals set that we try to achieve just like you do. there’s nothing ruined your experience either, this is a single player game too. i really find it fun to reverse engineer the game and play it at its limits of what the developers thought possible. they think and prepared a lot for these scenarios and when people find ways to go around it, i consider it a fun achievement in itself
@@eddieru no, I've never gone through an RPG murdering everyone to see if I can, nor have I tried to see if I could break it. I'm not a playtester, and have no desire to do that. I'm not interested in playing an RPG over and over to see if I can skin 30 seconds of my last playthrough. I have played multiple times to see various endings, or to try new things, and I have wandered around to look for hidden things. To me, it's an RPG, not a program to be reverse engineered, and I'm not a coder looking to create new scenarios for the game either. To me, breaking the game defeats the purpose.

Some people find fun in searching for exploits. I like the freedom the game gives you. If you want to grind like madman, you can. Obviously it is not for everyone.
