    I'll probably get a RG wen this redesign trickles down to the cheaper trims 👍🏽🤙🏽

    I like the rear lights and the new saddle bags. I moved to a Roadglide a while back, but after the new release of CVOs, I prefer the Streetglide with the new changes.

    So far, I do like both. I like the RG and the SG CVO’s. Yet, out of the two, I think I prefer the changes on the Street Glide more than the changes on the Road Glide. Both are good though.

    I'm not sure if they 'copied' the Indian but, and this is my personal opinion, one of the key defining pieces of the Road Glide was the dual headlight. I don't like the aftermarket single piece headlights that were out before this, but I absolutely abhor this headlight. Again, just my opinion but you lose so much of the character of the RG with this fairing. Also, again personal, but I don't like the air cleaner either, my leg bangs the hell out of those types of air cleaners. Absolutely love the new riser, the new head unit, and the electronics.

    Wish they could have done something cool with the passenger pegs like the new Triumph Rocket. They knocked it out of the park with that! The problem I have with this new CVO, the cost. I don't really feel like your getting what he said, like 50k worth of bike?! Probably with the dealer mark ups, but still, it's about time they updated their stuff some, but it needs more & the price is just too steep either way.

    Thanks for a great review
    Just checking if RG CVO has a “ 12 v “ plug at all ? I run my heated jacket n use sometimes to pump tyres via 12v compressor?
    Thanks

    yeah it's an indian challenger. but that's competition, and competition is good.
    shame about the gauges, but oh well not like I'm buying a CVO 🤣
    backlit controls should be mandatory on all touring bikes. hope that filters down to the rest next year

  • @toddschultzandkaysar3530

    looks great..over all . i would put some 2010 wheelbarrow bars on it..

    There is one more feature in headunit is about Voice Assistant, can you please try that and make video on that as well? Like you connect your phone via BT, and you can ask assistant to call or control your songs from voice or Navigation to zoom in out via speech?

    Sat on the bike in Milwaukee. I like all the changes but the front fairing. Looks too bubbly. Maybe it will grow on me. Do you think with them going to the VVT, they are trying to stop tinkers (DIY guys) from upgrading the bike (cams etc.)? When I asked the guy at the power plant shop about that, he just said “we are working in that”. Hmmmmm, ok then.

    If harley harley RG styling while Indian was out of business. Indian comes back in business with a RG as its template,the new RG is just an update on an original HD design .

    Beautiful bike! great color scheme, Love that black chrome looks awesome, and that shark nose looks very cool 👍 Do not like the wheels... spokes with a 2023 bike just dont match, also dont like the bags, too small for a large touring bike and not a fan of tail lights.
    Excellent walk around review.

    The rear filler lights look strange how they integrated with the rear fender too

    Too much bike for me and too heavy, but I LIKE what Harley is doing here. I personally prefer the Softail chassis, for the weight and nimbler handling, but there is a lot to like about what HD is doing with these CVOs. Of course these changes will trickle down to the other Touring bikes eventually, as they usually do.

  • @oldsparky14

    After watching many reviews of the new RG cvo , I still think the cyclops headlight ugly , would of been better to have a updated side by side twin headlights

  • @crypto_que

    Also not a fan of chopped bags. I like everything about this bike except the short bags & annoyingly large exhaust. IMO baggers should have stretched bags covering the exhaust. I like the performance of Performance Baggers but the idea of raising a bike with huge fairings and saddle bags so you can lean over the high center of gravity is physically ludicrous. The new CVO RG is 9.5/10

    It better be! The thing costs as much as a SUV for goodness sake. It looks sick though.

    The amount of controls on the switches etc is a bit overwhelming and also the paint/powder coat on switch housing looks cheap too

    Great review as always. Very disappointed with off the shelf showa fork paint finish, it's a CVO, should have High quality paint finish on forks. With lesser models you get Harley exclusive caliper finish on brembos, these are of a 10k mass produced bike.

  • @Drgn1987

    Many people defend the piss poor excuse of the suspension travel of 3 inches in the rear to justify the "low look" of the bike. Indian manages to get 4.5 inches of travel at the rear while over 5 on the front of the Challenger while achieving the "low look." The new models are definitely a welcomed change and improvement, but HD dropped the ball slacking on a new frame design and hideous suspension travel improvements imo

  • @JA-zh5xi
    @JA-zh5xi Před rokem +2

    I like all the mechanical improvements, but I would never buy one because the fairing looks like and Indian and the tank and bags with the hard lines look like an old victory and I don’t like either of those bikes.

    • @Outforajoyride
      @Outforajoyride Před rokem +1

      Good call on the victory comparison. That never even crossed my mind when I seen the bike.

    • @JA-zh5xi
      @JA-zh5xi Před rokem +1

      @@Outforajoyride the only reason I noticed it is I was at a Harley dealer that had a used victory about three bikes over from the CVO and I was like….huh? Haha

  • @johnnydangerously7186

    Looks nothing like an Indian. It’s identifiable as an HD 100 feet away. I think HD did a great job on the updates! HD riders should be excited! Ride American Ride Indian!

    The 2015 Mt. Rushmore project spoke Harley Davidson all day! Fast forward today and I feel that Harley rushed the new CVO’s because of the photo leaks and Indian MC. I’ll stay with the Specials. No CVO even if I had the extra $50,000.

    Your motorcycle DOES NOT need to know what your voice sounds like. Siri is an invasion of privacy. It’s sad they’re doing this might be better to have a generic mp3 player with tons of songs instead.

    At worst that fairing is a copy of a copy.
    The Indian was a knock-off of the Harley. Now the Harley has taken cues from the indian.
