- Hey! I was in your shoes too. The process of studying in flight school is messy and not clear. I had to figure it out on my own and my goal with this video is to share the resources and methods you need to know to pass your FAA checkride. Whether it is your private pilot, commercial pilot, CFI or certified flight instructor, IFR or instruments and so on, this is your guide to studying for your checkride while in flight school!.
Checkride Course!
I have developed a Private Pilot Checkride Prep course. This course is everything you need to ACE your checkride. I spent nearly a month curating all the content and put it together into nearly 10 Hours of video content. After taking this course you will have confidence and knowledge to Pass your PPL checkride!

Everyone trashing him for his spelling mistake. But not mentioning that he probably made the most direct and concise method for studying a checkride.
This video was actually really helpful thank you!
I’m taking this info towards my aviation maintenance technician certification. Thanks man!
Thank you for sharing your experience
dude you have a video for everything. good to know some people think alike
This is gold! Your work and efforts to help out next generations of H.pilots is greatly appreciated. I'm definitely going to get all the materials that I can get to assuage my learning process.
Thats so cool man! It all is just a process of trying then failing and trying again. But in the end it is so worth it!
Great info! 👍🏻
Hey bud, great video. Standerds is spelled “standards”.
fantastic video
great Info.. Great for aspiring pilots !!!
Glad you enjoyed it!!
Thanks I needed thiss
GOOD INFO
If you love what you do, or what you are doing,
you will learn. Learning is an ongoing process, even though you mentioned there are some things the FAA wants you to know, ie, general aviation knowledge, that's not what is going to
make you a good pilot. While that knowledge may not seem relevant, it is. What makes one a good pilot IMO, is having an intimate knowledge of the aircraft you will be flying, it's limitations, learning to fly it skillfully, n knowing the emergency procedures for that aircraft. Of course, radio work n communications are also skill sets one must learn to fly safely n proficiently in air traffic n traffic patterns. But the end game is, just what kind of flying is your goal? Whatever it is, you must study n prepare accordingly. If you love it, you will learn, n keep learning...

Thank you for the video it was really insightful. Do you still have the chi pass tracker? If not where could I find something like that online?
Hey man! Any advice on a good test prep for just the FAA Written? So I can knock that out ASAP and spend the rest of my time flying and studying for the checkride! Thanks!
Could you make a video on student life at Mauna Loa?
Devin, very informative video, thanks. (Just please, next time minimize the background music to the lowest level or none if possible.
Thank you very much for the feedback! I remebered this comment in my production of the new Bell 505 video. Did you check it out? Let me know how that audio sounds?
@@PilotDevin yes it much better now. thanks for your effort. btw it will be cool to see video about "the way of logging flight hours"
This is gonna be an amazing video and I just found out I’ll be going to school in 2 months can’t wait
Same here

Congratulations and good luck!!
@@PilotDevin It would be a great help if you provided us your PPl checkride prep course. Hope so.
@@devinfort8649 It is available in my description!!
Watching this at 13yo because i always wanted to be a pilot
Pretty man.
The music is so distracting
From where can I read or study about Cessna 172R ?
How do I buy the course? When I clicked on the link it said the school was not open. Help
I actually LOVE the studying of flight (in ground school for PPL though), however...reading through the book has been extremely difficult as I'm more of a visual and psychical learner.
I do love safety and take it very seriously and from what it seems, that is what can make a good pilot? Obviously I don't know because I'm just starting.
Hi, why you charges tax to Norway on the prep course?
Im not sure about the tax!
@@PilotDevin When you sell something abroad, vat/tax is not normal to charge
Isn’t standard not spelt as standerd?
Is the app called “prepware private pilot”
yes
Great video! Background music is a little annoying
