I think Pamela Anderson was a good sport for agreeing to do this scene, because even though she knew it was fictional, he still had to manhandle her rather roughly, so kudos to her for going with it. Sascha Baron Cohen is also pretty brave considering that the security and the crowd weren't in on it and he probably realized there was a good chance he'd also wind up getting roughed up and perhaps even injured.
You know how the people that Borat interviews are real people, they’re not just actors, did Pamela know that this whole thing was just a scene for the movie, or did she think it was all for real?
I can't believe this scene worked, and that he got away without someone punching his lights out. Imagine producing this film and needing a critical scene like this and it going bad. I am surprised he makes it through the film without having an increasingly bruised and battered face.
The way all those people cheered at Pamela's entrance reminds me of the time I met the Kratt Brothers backstage of "Wild Kratts LIVE." All the kids and their parents in front of me in line immediately cheered after they appeared.
