I wasnt pleased with Starcraft 2 Legacy of the Void's ending. It felt too rushed and did not have the Blizzard vibe to it. I think some studio CEO rushed it to meet deadlines which is a shame. In the past, Blizzard was all about quality and now its more like making money is a stronger focus than quality
And also fix up a few things here and there like making act 3 a bit better, adding a few more quests to act 4 and mainly touching up things here and there that could make gameplay a lot more fun
What they did with this game was simply a success. Fun-fast-instantaneous gameplay, intense social feeling when playing online, cute storytelling, passionate characters, once you make a decision it's forever ,making it feel like it's important... and awesome soundtrack. And the game isn't 3D, but the images shown are pre-rendered 3D animated images, which is rare and gives it an unique look.

I installed it again after a 4 year break and am currently a level 37 orb sorceress. I fucking love the grind. I quit wow because it became too easy. I worked for months in vanilla wow to hit max level....now people can just spawn one? Fuck that. Give me reward after working hard for it.
As someone who played for a year or so and got a Barbarian up to level 78-ish, and never beat the Ancients on Hell, watching you roflstomp through like half the game's bosses in about 10 minutes and leaving all these rare/unique/set items behind is MADDENING. Yet I keep coming back to watch. Good times, this game...
If your having a hard time with the Res. There is Resolution mods -OR- if you open properties on the games shortcut and in the field labeled :Target put a gap (spacebar) and put -w it will open a wimpy little window of the game. Or if you dont get it just google D2 windowed mode.
i wonder how many times Baal has been killed in Diablo 2 LOD? i mean if we take all kills done by all players ever playing D2 LOD a in single and online mode..any guesses? funny thing is he keeps laughing any time you come to kill him. you know why? cause he knows you will come over and over as its a very addictive, diabolic game, and he will still be alive and healthy waiting for ya )
i think necro is much more about the joy of plating with it, and the colours, and the many people you have surrounding you. allthough its really tough without enigma. but u have it, so respect :D i just loved watching this. Thumbs up!
that's one of the reasons I've stopped re-playing it 2 weeks ago. After a marathon of several months of ARPGs I got nostalgic and wanted to replay D2, too, but... couldn't make it past the first 2 quests because of the inventory space. After playing Titan Quest, Grim Dawn, and other newer ARPGs with big inventory stashes I nearly screamed when I had seen D2's stash again after so many years. It was painful to uninstall it, but... it would have been more painful to teleport to base every few minutes to drop the items. Sad, because the game has been EPIC at its time
I don't want to remember when I was assassin and I was such low lvl and I had shity stuff so he killd me in like 3 shots so I need to kill him with my towers that deals so little dmg took me for ages xD
Johnny HA it is and it isn't. It could have been better if it was grittier. Everything looks too smooth and balanced. Also I like how in D2 you just walk into a room and there's the boss. I don't really like how in D3 there's a weird little dialogue before every boss where they say "Nephalem" 60 times and inform you that they are going to win the fight. Some of the things the bosses say are super cliche and lame. It just kills the mood for me.
Bring back the necro to D3, imagine how fast those T6 rifts and Grifts will go with a necro cursing and corpse exploding everything. When you can actually get a corpse left behind anyway. They really softened the diablo franchise up I'm my opinion. Probably to draw in more of the WoW crowd I think.
Crazy nostalgia watching this let me tell ya. I've been a hardcore fan of Diablo universe since the beginning, I was like 7 playing Diablo 1 on my pc scared shitless. And as number 2 came out I played it and expac also, all the way up to the third. I don't play 2 anymore the same way I didn't play 1 when 2 came out. I play 3 now (well the expac but you get it) I don't miss the old ones and I don't bitch how the game has changed I accepted it's evolution for better or for worst. It really bugs me when people call the new game shitty when it's actually a good and fun game. For me the story matters and it's really interesting and connected still. Well to each it's own I guess. Just wanted to share with my Diablo brothers and sisters. Take care :)

Yes graphics play a huge part in most gamers mind. Summon Resist has such small returns at high level I'm surprised you didn't opt for stronger golems instead. A good Iron Golem can work wonders... then again Iron Maiden would assuredly kill it anyway. While I don't miss the curse I miss how varied the spells were that Oblivion Knights would cast.
never realized that teleport trick.. not moving after teleport causing your minions to stay in one pixel of a spot so they can attack the same group of enemies clumped up. Very clever

i don't undestand much about computers (in fact they're just boxes with lights in my eyes) but i got a 2014 laptop with windows 8 and it runs d2 lod perfectly. i had to dowload a patch and fix some things to get in to work properly, but if i could do it, everybody can (i did it watching a youtube tutorial lol). just download it and play :)
Minotaur's Axe is the best item to make IG from if you're doing hell mephisto runs. The golem alone can kill Mephisto with help from decrepify. And if you enchant him, he'll kill Mephisto even faster. Mephisto goes down in 30 secs if merc has crushing blow. And if you use a club with enchant charges then mephisto goes down in 15 secs :D
+De400Slagen What really killed d2? Time. Games only last for so long. It was a great game.... Time eventually makes you play other games. D3 should have been made to basically be d2 with better graphics. They decided not to do that, and it costed them.
You casted the golem on a metal item and the golem would have the properties of that item. For example: making a golem out of a weapon with Infinity runeword would give it the resist lowering aura, the chain lightning proc and all the other stuff on it.
ElliotGanzen in memory of my golem made from a weapon with 5 high-runes (might aura), he died almost instantly when cursed "feed back" by those mages T-T

Most people say Diablo 3 can't live up to Diablo 2. But the fact is, having gone back and played though D2+LOD quite recently, not only does D3 live up to D2, it's actually BETTER than Diablo 2 in many ways. the ONLY thing that made D2 better than D3, was that you had more customization options for your build. Never was a huge fan of summon necro.. but man I do miss playing my frozen orb sorc for hours and hours on end. Pretty standard affair... frozen orb w/ a maxed out fireball and static field. Could do pretty much anything and breeze through hell with an act 2 merc w/ that runeword weapon that effects resistances/immunity, I can't remember the name of it exactly. Just that it took forever to get the runes for and required lots of farming/trading. I loved teleporting around with getting my cast rate as high as possible. Was almost nauseating lol.
-Doesn't pick up the grand charm from De Seis -Doesn't pick up the rare ammy from Infector -Doesn't give merc the Pride over a Bonehew, even though it would quintuple his total damage with summons "Mf run"

just install PlugY, it's done in 10 seconds tops and makes your stash endless

Dezzan How do you even play on Battlenet? I apparently wasn't playing on Battlenet and my entire Diablo 2 game got erased after having to factory reset my computer. (Bad virus) Apparently if I was playing on Battlenet, my game files would still exist. :(
Unguidedone Just don't be stupid and you won't get hacked ? It has nothing to do about the OS but your own management of your PC. Sure there's more viruses around here on Windows, but what would you expect when the majority of PC users go for Windows.

It's been a long time since I played D3 but didn't they plan to sell the Necromancer class? Underhanded move since it's been a common class in D2
it wasnt part of the vanilla code, it came as an afterthought, and is prone to some unfortunate bugs

Better as in the failed real money AH, or the fact you can have less people per game, or no open pvp. what about grossly mishandled op flavor of the month classes thanks to Jay Wilson, or how about item trading or skill balancing. What about the fact you can't play offline, or name game rooms, instead it throws you into random ones. Or the Uelman's completed soundtrack they threw into the trash for that pos one they put in. Every aspect my ass.
Why would I care about naming game rooms.. and play offline just fine on xbox.. overall yes better in every aspect..

***** by definition it improved every aspect and flaw the series had and has only gotten better with every new update and patch can spew all the nonsense you like will not change my mind that d3 is easily the best in the series.. I play online upstairs on computer when feel like playing with friends and can also play downstairs on the Xbox when feel like chilling on the couch.. that alone makes d3 vastly better than the other 2 not to mention the graphics the optimization less bugs better ui better loot drops better story line .. pretty much better everything .. the only thing d2 had going for it is a class building system .. but even that was an overall waste of time since 99% of its players went with 1 op as hell necro build ..

You can always trade anything you found with other players.. unlike in d3..
So yea mf'ing in d2 makes sense when you have best gear, in d3 not so much. D3 is stupid rat race who can run through rift asap with some super dumb op build that is not even fun.

im thinking about playing the hd-mod for diablo1. it looks sweet
i don't undestand much about computers (in fact they're just boxes with lights in my eyes) but i got a 2014 laptop with windows 8 and it runs d2 lod perfectly. i had to dowload a patch and fix some things to get in to work properly, but if i could do it, everybody can (i did it watching a youtube tutorial lol). just download it and play :)

Minotaur's Axe is the best item to make IG from if you're doing hell mephisto runs. The golem alone can kill Mephisto with help from decrepify. And if you enchant him, he'll kill Mephisto even faster. Mephisto goes down in 30 secs if merc has crushing blow. And if you use a club with enchant charges then mephisto goes down in 15 secs :D

+De400Slagen What really killed d2? Time. Games only last for so long. It was a great game.... Time eventually makes you play other games. D3 should have been made to basically be d2 with better graphics. They decided not to do that, and it costed them.

You casted the golem on a metal item and the golem would have the properties of that item. For example: making a golem out of a weapon with Infinity runeword would give it the resist lowering aura, the chain lightning proc and all the other stuff on it.
You can't save it though right? In the case where it died

Smoother, LMAO. The engine IS HORRIBLE. Starcraft 2 is also really bad at optimization.
this seems backwards, d3 way better art( if you are referring to graphics) but game play wise, d2 / d2lod trumps d3 any day of the week
countrykid1o1 The graphics in D3 are better, but the art style in D2 is much more suitable for the dark, gritty setting of the series. D3's more cartoony graphics would be better suited for a colourful fantasy world like that of WoW. That's probably what he meant.

D2 Necro coolest necro type class than any other game
Most people say Diablo 3 can't live up to Diablo 2. But the fact is, having gone back and played though D2+LOD quite recently, not only does D3 live up to D2, it's actually BETTER than Diablo 2 in many ways.
the ONLY thing that made D2 better than D3, was that you had more customization options for your build. Stats and Skills.

Killing Baal after hearing his laugh was so satisfying.
Never was a huge fan of summon necro.. but man I do miss playing my frozen orb sorc for hours and hours on end. Pretty standard affair... frozen orb w/ a maxed out fireball and static field. Could do pretty much anything and breeze through hell with an act 2 merc w/ that runeword weapon that effects resistances/immunity, I can't remember the name of it exactly. Just that it took forever to get the runes for and required lots of farming/trading.
I loved teleporting around with getting my cast rate as high as possible. Was almost nauseating lol.
