I know another youtuber with momo twins. Her name is Blanca!!!! I really think you guys will be great for support system because it is very rare. I believe she has the same form as you, not 100 percent. She will be impatient.

Thank you for sharing. I am 21 weeks and found out two weeks ago I’m having twins. Today I found out I’m having mono mono and the doctor explained all the high risks of what can happen and honestly it just ruined my entire day. I cried all day. Started to blame myself for being depressed for 4 months or for not eating as healthy or for crying too much in my first trimester due to stress. But seeing you and this video gave me hope. I love my baby girls and there’s nothing I want more than to see them healthy, strong, and alive!!!! Moving forward I’ll be monitor every weeek and I’ll be admitted in the next 3 weeks. I’m currently seeking for a different OB doctor. I just don’t understand why do they wait so long to do an official ultrasound? We could’ve caught this earlier on. I previously have 14 year old fraternal twin boys. So clearly I’m prone to have twins again and now I am. I don’t know, just felt like they should’ve caught this earlier. But thank you again for sharing, it was reassuring and refreshing. Congrats on you babies!

I have one year old mono-di twins! So one placenta two sacs. My pregnancy was HORRIBLE! I was diagnosed with twin to twin transfusion sydromde which is basically both the twins share a blood and food source and there is not enough for both. I was rushed out of state for an emergency invasive surgery. Without both babies would of died. They did a placental ablation which like separates the connections between the two. Also they had to drain water around baby A. I was in the hospital for 8 days and finally on my way home my water broke at 20 weeks! I was then admitted for the remainder of whatever would happen. I made it to 27 weeks! My babes were tiny little micro preemies. It's frustrating when I see people say that mono mono are the "most dangerous" any pregnancy can be dangerous! I'm happy for you and yay your almost to viability! You go girl! It's so amazing that our bodies can do something SO amazing as creating not one but TWO beautiful babes ❤️❤️

I was part of a observational tttts study to figure out why some modi/momo pregnancies get it & others don’t (I ended up not developing it). I’m guessing you flew to FL? It’s so great to hear that you made it through & now have two lovely babes💕

I am 21 weeks pregnant and still got HG and on meds🙈 I have one baby boy🥰 hope you get an easy pregnancy and both boys come into the world healthy😊🙏🏼

My wife and I just found out she is pregnant with MoMo twins (7 weeks and 2 days). Ofcourse being a nurse I googled it straight away and started to freak out. Finding your video and Instagram made me feel a little relieved. Thank you!!! P.S. your boys are just perfect.

Just found out my wife is pregnant with Mono mono twins. She's 13.5 weeks and handling it like a champ. They are just so active in there and entanglement is terrifying. Hope your little ones are thriving 🙏🙏
Brad Smith They’re doing great! And hang in there Brad, the best thing my husband did was show me no fear, encouraged me to celebrate, and insisted that they were going to make it. It was tough on him too but him doing that boosted me up and made me way less nervous/sad.

Congratulations!! I know from personal experience being an in patience was soothing and my son was monitored 3 tomes a day for 8 weeks through NSTs and I always knew if anything even changed in the slightest they would know before bad turned to worse. I had so many ultrasounds and I heard my son's geart veat everyday I would turn it up just to sit in my room and listen to it. But it was tough because I was admitted over the holidays so Thanksgiving until January 12 the I was in hospital but it was an experience scary but I always had a piece of mind knowing that if at any time he would be born I was in the best and safest place.
I've been inpatient now for a month and feel this EXACT way, I love hearing their heartbeats. It's so soothing, it actually puts me to sleep sometimes. I'm so sorry you had to be inpatient over the holidays, I spent my birthday here and my friend threw me a little surprise party (while I was on 24/7 for some decels!). I can't imagine being gone during the holidays. Congrats on the birth of your son- I know that end result is what makes inpatient worth it!
I had momo twins. The inpatient stay was difficult because I had two kids already. It was scary!

My family have 7 sets of twins including my own di/di twin girls, my cousin however had the only set of mo/mo twins and had the first laser ablation (I think that’s the term) for TTTS in our city. They are almost 20 now

My advice is use nail color that is the initial of their name or close to their name.. Example.. Brook could be blue, Rebecca could be red..

Hi We got to know from the hospital that we have a high possibility with a momo twins.
I'm one of the 300 this year, I guess. What makes it very rare. I wasn't trying. I am 45. I thought I was going through menopause. I was DARN SURe. I was very wrong. Not only was I shocked.. i got the other shock that I was having twins..and then another shock that i was having a rare form of twins.

Hi Jessie! I used the Ava Bracelet for a year before TTC to get a good idea of my body's ovulation cycle/temperature. Once we were TTC, we became pregnant the same month we tried. I believe without the AVA bracelet we would not have been able to do this because I'm not regular. Best of luck on your journey, I'll be sending you all the good vibes!
Oh thank you for replying. Iv been using the clear blue digital ovulation sticks for about 5 months now. Not sure if we just arnt catching it. I always test in mornings and we always have sex that day and the next day

I’m 6 weeks and just found out. My doctor thinks it will most likely end in a miscarriage. I’m so confused and scared on that to do. She said it’s to risky.
Scarlett Flores Hi Scarlett! Unfortunately there really is nothing you can do but your obgyn was probably being overly pessimistic. Statistically you have about a 50% chance of making it to 12 weeks and then at that point you need to start seeing an MFM (specialist) and your chances of a smooth time go up! The best advice is to relax and try to keep positive- easier said than done but there’s no reason to torture yourself in the meanwhile when you have 0% control of the situation. I also recommend joining one of the MoMo Twin Support Groups on facebook! It is a high risk pregnancy but there’s lot’s of success stories. I’ll keep you in my prayers for a smooth MoMo pregnancy💕
Also DO NOT google! You’ll have a much more positive experience joining one of the facebook support groups and getting experienced MoMo mamas giving positive advice and support than the cold google machine. Just my lil advice💕

Hi, I was curious, at your 7 week ultrasound is when they knew it was mono mono?
Yes! They were able to tell at the 7 week ultrasound because there was only one yolk sac and the two heartbeats were VERY close together. Normal twins tend to have two sacs and the heartbeats aren't all that close together. They were then able to give the final confirmation at my 14week with my MFM that there was for certain no slim membrane dividing the two but we were a case that was very apparent even before then as many MoMos are.

I know it can be scary but there are a lot of success stories out there too- try to stay positive even if it's hard to do because it can be mentally wearing for months on end. I'll be praying for you and your twins!
