- New gold optimization: take Alchemy items in Caldera, then sell them to Nalcarya when you visit her the second time for 18 Potions of Mark. This allows us to bribe for 100g, before we could actually not afford to do that, or you wouldn't have enough gold to do the route.
Took quite a few attempts at the Scroll of Windform, but it was my last attempt for the day and I wanted to continue for a little longer than I would have. I didn't expect such a big improvement, but I guess that just shows how fast this category can get.

Imagine you're Caius Cosades, you are told that a former slave will be reporting to you soon, and a few days later a sonic boom blows your doors open and a naked guy flies into your home.
He'd probably just blame it on the Skooma or moon sugar.
9:44 “ *THERE IS NO ESCAPE!* “ x4
*literally flies out the door in less than a second
25:15 The wise woman from the Ahemmusa: "take us to a safe place". He takes her to a place where everybody is fighting with each other and she says "thank you".
*falls over dead* "My victory is at hand"
"You're pathetic" vibes
13:00
Azura: "Nerev-"
Nerevarine: *Leaves*
Azura: "Ok fine, I was done talking anyways."
"Why walk when you could ride?"
"Why ride when you're a greased up Redguard that can fly?"
"Touché."
"What a fool you are."
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"
"FOOL!"
"STOP!"
*Dies*
if theres anything ive learned from this its that scrolls of windform are awesome
what a grand and intoxicating innocence!
21:58 "Make it quick, outlander"
Well, that's the whole reason he's there, isn't it?
This guy really beat the game in the time it takes me to leave the Census and Excise Office.
Therana deserved that 1000 gold
Me at 16 minutes: I've decided on my name
Volv has already cured corpus
True brother
He really really knew wich class he wanted to build
suggestion: when you're save scumming for the Windform scroll, you don't even need to hover over the last scroll; just look at the count. If it's 2, then it's almost certainly the Scrolls of Vitality (probability of getting TWO windform scrolls are extremely low, close to zero)
Hey, ive definitely thought of that. I guess it's just a preference because the bulk of each try is you moving to the npc and menuing to your quicksave file, so checking doesn't take too much time
22:11
“Make it quick ou-“
*flies away at sonic speed*
this guys pretty good at morrowind
Dang, that’s insane
Remember kids, before making any significant purchase make sure to bribe the merchant so they give you a better price. Life lessons from Vvardenfell.
great channel, glad i found it!
You had done the great job 👍
Dude this is amazing...
Dagoth Ur, rambling while the game is ending and he's already dead: "COME!"
You are fucking killing it dude
Is this what CHIM looks like?
Uhm yeah. My PB is something around 200 hours, so good job I guess.
The king
30:30 Azura didnt even let Dagoth finiah his speech
9:00 - clearly too much knowledge taken from training. :P
Watching this I just kept thinking what this would look like from the perspective of the NPCs. 😂 A prisoner arrives to the island and straight away starts zooming around.
As someone who has never played Morrowind, this is extremely confusing to me. But I do really want to play it, and then I'll come back and see if it all makes sense.
From my experience: no
Relax, as someone who's sank an ungodly amount of time in Morrowind it's only slightly less confusing, if you blink you miss certain things lol
@@volvulusx5043 Actually, with a couple exceptions (of a couple of "parallel quests", mostly the Horator/Nerevarine part being so early, which is probably because of the pre requisites being quite lax) it made total sense to me xD
What are the major glitches not used in these runs?
4 things. Soultrap glitch, weapon swap glitch, going out of bounds, and the escort skips
"victory is at hand"
"It is not too late for my mercy--"
I'd love to see a video explaining what just happened.
I found a video on GDQ (Games Done Quick) that explained everything but it was the glitched run for all main quests.
Man, the mages guild in caldera gave zero shits about that stupid master alchemy set.
11:26 *why, walk when you can fly?
2:47 why use menu to load quicksave instead of just F9? Is it because you need to click out of inventory menu in order for F9 to work, and simply pressing Esc, then Load then Quicksave is marginally faster than that?
Yes, you need to leave the menu for f9 to work which is slower than pressing esc and clicking load imo.
How you equipping surender and keening if u not have wraithguard pls say me @Volvulus x
I did equip wraithguard right as I get keening. You may need to slow down the video to see it happening.
@@volvulusx5043 Thanks!!
@@ThisIsNotMyRealSelf see around 28:45
It can be challenge run with OpenMW on max difficulty
I ran into an issue where i'm actually in a room with dagoth at the end of the game and he thinks I don't have the weapons so i'm taken to a room that has dagoth but does not have the heart and I cannot get to the room with the heart. Have tried a lot of different things but can find no way around it.
How the hell do you even Break the game this Badly
I'm pretty clueless when it comes to Morrowind glitches, so can anyone tell me why he ran up to that vendor and bought something (i think?) and then loaded a save over and over?
Well, this would not classify as a glitch. I quicksave outside of the temple and then keep checking the vendor's inventory to see if they have the Scroll of Windform. This is because their inventory is determined upon the "first time" you enter the cell (the location) so by loading my save, I revert to a point where I still have not entered yet. This vendor has a certain amount of random scrolls, which also happen to replenish, allowing me to buy as many copies as I want. It's an extremely busted scroll as it gives levitation of 500 points for an entire minute, so it's by far the fastest way you can move this fast, at least as a fresh file and without using major glitches/exploits.
@@volvulusx5043 Oh ok that makes a lot more sense to me now, I originally thought you were running up and buying a limited item an then reverting to a save file while somehow still keeping the item you bought or something like that. Thanks for clearing that up for me XD
Will u make a guide on how to speedrun mw?
I've made some guides but some strategies/route changes have happened since I've made them, so they are not ideal. You can find them in my playlists section. Currently if anyone wants to learn and they want help, I can offer 1 on 1 coaching. Just join the Elder Scrolls Speedrunning discord and put a message in the Morrowind channel (see description for link). Otherwise, Morrowind speedrun are generally pretty straightforward, but you do have to be aware of a bunch of things. You can basically just copy what I do step by step and re create the run on your own. That's how I learned to run.
That's a lot to learn i will join the discord thx
Be interesting to attempt a speedrun with the rules that you can't kill any friendly NPC's or steal.
I don't see how, but alright
how did you start the hortator quests before getting corprus? or is that only a minor glitch?
This is possible only if you have Tribunal and Bloodmoon disabled. It's easy to do, simply uncheck the .esms in the Data Files section in the game launcher
"I got the WR... Next run"
25% of speed running is the runner freaking out after a nice pb, or better yet; a wr. Not even a single word. 6/10 video
I'm very confused at what this is meant to mean but I guess thanks
11:29 why the icarian flight? Is that actually faster than scroll of windform from Khuul to Urshilaku?
Yeah, you move quite a bit faster with Icarian. I think that it's just one of the furthest distances you need to travel in the run, and it works well because you will always be on the ground plus the fact that you actually need to mark outside the cave. All these factors make it ideal as far as I'm aware
do redguards run the fastest?
With adrenaline rush, yes
Is there a resource to check what you did, I get most things but some still elude me. Edit - NVM found the tutorials.
I did, but there are some minor changes to the routing since then. It's really hard to have to keep making new tutorials over and over when new things are found, so ultimately my advice, if you are interested in learning, is to join the discord and I will actually be willing to work with you one on one over voice/provide commentary over the video.
If you're just wondering about a certain part I can explain it. If you're familiar with Morrowind, nothing is particularly all that complicated, just understand that the run uses a highly specific route/sequence of inputs at each stage and is not just something I came up with while doing it.
What keyboard you using?
It's the Logitech G413 Carbon
Why walk when u can fly?
what is he doing around 2:50 - 3:35 ?
That NPC has some random items in their inventory.
en.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Ilen_Faveran
They have -6 "random_scroll_all", this means that they have 6 random scrolls that always "restock", meaning that you can buy them repeatedly.
Then, it's important to know that what they have is determined when you enter the Temple (the cell) for the first time. So, you can save outside of the temple and keep checking what they have until they have what you need. In this case I am trying to get the Scroll of Windform in their inventory, so in this run it took a few tries before they had it. It's easy to check because it's in alphabetical order, so you just have to inspect the last 1 or 2 scrolls and either proceed with the run if you get it, or reload the save.
There is also a little trick with restocking items, where if you sell the item back to them, it will become available in a higher increment each time... as opposed to buying just one copy each time.
@@volvulusx5043 Well now that's a fast answer ! Thanks
This looks like 30% skill, 65% autism and 5% luck.
Quite entertaining tho
And normal Morrowind playthroughs are 100% autism, so I'll take that
would casting a speed buff on the people who have to follow you offer an opportunity to improve upon this record?
no
You’d have to go out of your way to create the speed buff and then you’d have to successfully cast it a bunch of times. All of this on glitchless.
ta chido
5:18 Regard lives doesn’t matter :(
I can beat morrowind in 15 minutes or so without any glitches as level 1 character. Go to vivec offer the shrine a magika potion then youll have levitation for 1000s of steps head directly to sunder and keening without wraith guard attack the heart. Done
yep, the any% no major glitches run is only 4 mins, check out my most recent video if you haven't!
@Volvulus x but youre still using glitches whats the fastest legit run?
@@jimholesaw6597 what's the glitch there? Things can be seen as glitches or exploits but it's all rather arbitrary.
No major glitches, lmao what a joke. This run is one big glitch.
